  • This will calibrate BOTH the Pitch and Roll Angles on your NineBot One. I'm using my NineBot One E+ for the demonstration.
    When using the In-App Calibration, it only calibrates the Pitch Angle.
    Since I've been asked a few times, here is the USB Rechargeable light mounted on the back: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01...

      Yeah, it can be very uncomfortable riding that way. Now you should be able to ride much longer before your legs get tired.

    Thanks! I always wondered how or if it was possible. Do you think having the pedals slightly tilted forward is better than level?

    • @SuperSport1966
      @SuperSport1966  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I prefer them perfectly level. I tried it slightly backwards, but I noticed I kept hitting the speed warning. And that makes me very uncomfortable. Slightly forward might make the toes touch easily during turns.

  • @GranVlog
    @GranVlog 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Btw, roll is sideways and pitch is forward. If its the same as with drones :)

      I believe you are correct. If you open the app and tilt the wheel, you'll notice which is which.

    i got a unicycle s1. i left it off for a ling time and it wont power on. the charger is working but it wont charge. any suggestion?

    • @SuperSport1966
      @SuperSport1966  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Likely the battery has dropped below the acceptable level so the BMS (Battery Management System) isn’t able to charge it anymore.
      There are ways to jumpstart a battery pack again, but unless you know what you’re doing, don’t try that. It can be very dangerous.
      Maybe see if you can find a battery builder in your area so they can try to bring it back to life. I don’t know if the battery for those is still available for sale since it is a slightly older model.

    Thanks for the video. Appreciated.
    I have question for you, what is the benefit of doing calibration?
    Is it good for driving quality?

    • @SuperSport1966
      @SuperSport1966  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sinan yılmaz It is only needed if your wheel is leaning forward or backwards, or if your side to side calibration is off.
      No need to do this if you are not having issues.

    • @baracuda50
      @baracuda50 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have some another problem with driving. When I ride it, ninebot sometimes waves.
      Not all the time but sometimes it shakes. Is calibration reason for that?

    • @SuperSport1966
      @SuperSport1966  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sinan yılmaz You could try calibration, but that sounds more like a bad Motherboard. Is your wheel still under warranty? There have been some issues with the board going bad and having that symptom. It can happen with any brand, not just NineBot.

    • @baracuda50
      @baracuda50 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @SuperSport1966
      @SuperSport1966  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have access to another charger, I would try that first to rule that out. If it's not the charger, then you likely have a bad battery, or BMS (Battery Management System), which is inside the battery. If you need a battery, you should be able to get one from SpeedyFeet or eWheels.com or another vendor. Hi! My Ninebot one E is carried away by the weight of the parking stand. It moves back after power on.
    I try to calibrate but no success. Is it normal?

    • @SuperSport1966
      @SuperSport1966  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mike B. Yes, it is normal for the wheel to move if extra weight is applied to one side of the wheel. That is how it keeps itself balanced when you lean forward while riding it.
      When leaning my wheel against a wall, I sometimes need to prop it up carefully so it does not take off.

    • @Mike.B
      @Mike.B 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SuperSport1966 so we cannot calibrate this?

    • @SuperSport1966
      @SuperSport1966  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mike B. You can definitely calibrate it. The calibration tells the control board when your wheel is level. Calibration is used to set your pedals level to the ground.
      When you HOLD the wheel straight up, with the tire on the ground, it should not move. That means it’s calibrated.
      If you let it go, and the weight leans the wheel, it is going to move to try to rebalance itself. That is normal behavior.
      So, calibrate your wheel so that the pedals are level, and you should be good.
      When you hold your wheel level so that the pedals are level, if it does not move, then it is already calibrated. You have to hold it level, because if you let it go, the weight will make the wheel lean and it will take off.

    • @Mike.B
      @Mike.B 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SuperSport1966 I have tried many times. Whatever the initial angle position of the pedals, the wheel always detects the extra weight is applied to one side of the wheel.

    • @SuperSport1966
      @SuperSport1966  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mike B. As it should. Calibrating does not make your wheel balance when the weight of accessories changes. Calibrating simply sets your pedals level.

    how did you mount the back light? and what light is it?

      If you search Amazon for this "Classic Glow -Rechargeable LED Bike Light Set, Cycling Headlight and Taillight, 2 USB Cables Included" you will see what I bought. There might be cheaper sources. To mount on the back, I needed to drill a small hole in the aluminum cap and just put a screw through it to the NineBot's Screw Hole. I'll try to post a video of it for you.
