എന്റെ ചില observations..
താരതമ്യേന ഇന്ത്യയിലെ മറ്റു ഭാഷാചിത്രങ്ങളെക്കാൾ വളരെ ഓർഗാനിക് ആയ തമാശകൾ ആയിരുന്നു മലയാളി പ്രേക്ഷകർ കൂടുതലായും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നത്. 90കളിൽ ആയിരുന്നു അത് താരതമ്യേന മികച്ച നിലവാരത്തിൽ എത്തിയത് എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു. അതിന് മുൻപും പദ്മരാജനെപ്പോലെ, ഗൗരവമായി സിനിമ ചെയ്തിരുന്ന സംവിധായകരുടെ സിനിമകളിലെ തമാശ രംഗങ്ങൾ വളരെ organicഉം ആസ്വാദ്യകരവും ആയിരുന്നു. 2000ന് ശേഷമുള്ള സിനിമകളിലെ കോമഡി പലപ്പോഴും വളരെ forced ആയി അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടു തുടങ്ങി (ദിലീപ് ചിത്രങ്ങൾ ഉദാഹരണം). 2010ന് ശേഷം പുതിയ തലമുറയിലെ കുറെ സംവിധായകർ (തിരക്കഥാകൃത്തുക്കളും) മെച്ചപ്പെട്ട വളരെ ഓർഗാനിക് ആയ തമാശകൾ തിരിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു എന്നു വേണം കരുതാൻ.
തലമുറകളെപ്പറ്റി പറയുമ്പോൾ മാറുന്ന പ്രേക്ഷകരും (updated) മാറാത്ത പ്രേക്ഷകരും ഉണ്ട് എന്നത് കൂടി വസ്തുതയാണ്. അമിതമായ താരാരാധന ഉള്ളവർ പലപ്പോഴും മാറ്റങ്ങൾ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളാൻ മടിക്കുന്നവരാണ് എന്നും എനിക്ക് തോന്നിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

മലയാളം സിനിമയിലെ മെഗാ / സൂപ്പർ സ്റ്റാറുകൾ പോലും ദിലീപിനെ ഭയപ്പെടും വിധം കേരളത്തിലെ റിയൽ എസ്റ്റേറ്റ് മാഫിയാ തലവനും ഗുണ്ടായിസ ജീവിതവും നയിച്ചിരുന്ന, മലയാള സിനിമാ ഇൻഡസ്ട്രിയെ അടക്കി വാണിരുന്ന ദിലീപ് ഗുണ്ടകളെ വിട്ട് ആക്രമിച്ച നടിയും അന്നത്തെ ജനപ്രിയ നായിക ആയിരുന്നു എന്നും അയാൾ ഓർത്തില്ല.

കൈയിലിരിപ് ശരിയല്ലാഞ്ഞിട്ടാണ്. കഷ്ട പെട്ടു സിനിമയിൽ വന്നു നല്ല നല്ല സിനിമകൾ ചെയ്തു വിജയിച്ചു കൈയിൽ ഒരു പാട് പൈസ വന്നു, സൗകര്യം ങ്ങൾ വന്നു, കൂടെ അഹങ്കാരവും വന്നു. പിന്നെ കൂടെ നിന്നവരെ ഒതുക്കി, കൊണ്ട് വന്നവർക്കു പണികൊടുത്തു. അവസാനം മമ്മുകയേയും, മോഹൻലാലിനെയും ഒതുക്കാൻ നോക്കി സ്വയം ഒതുങ്ങി പോയി.

ഞാൻ ദിലീപിന്റെ പടങ്ങൾ ആദ്യദിവസം ആദ്യ ഷോ കാണുന്ന കാലമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. പാണ്ടിപ്പട വരെ അങ്ങനെ പൊയ്ക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. പിന്നെ എനിക്ക് വെളിനാട്ടിൽ ജോലി കിട്ടിയപ്പോൾ നാട്ടിലെ തിയേറ്ററിൽ സിനിമ കാണുന്ന ആ സുഖം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു. പക്ഷെ, നോട്ടുബുക്ക് എന്ന സിനിമ റിലീസ് ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ കാണാനായി തിയേറ്ററിൽ പോയപ്പോൾ കൂവലും തെറിവിളിയുമായി ഒരുകൂട്ടം ആളുകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ആ ദിവസം സിനിമ കാണാൻ പറ്റാതെ വിഷമത്തോടെ പുറത്തേക്കിറങ്ങി. തൊട്ടടുത്ത ദിവസം അതെ തിയേറ്ററിൽ ഈ സിനിമ കാണാൻ പോയപ്പോൾ തലേ ദിവസം തിയേറ്ററിൽ കൂവിയ ആളുകൾ എന്നോടൊപ്പം പടം കാണാൻ ടിക്കറ്റ് ക്യൂനിൽക്കുന്നത് കണ്ട് അവരെ പരിചയപ്പെട്ടു. അപ്പോഴാണ് അറിഞ്ഞത് അവർ ദിലീപ് ഫാൻസ്‌ അസോസിയേഷൻ ആളുകളാണെന്ന്. പ്രേംപൂജാരി സിനിമ മുതൽ ഇതാണ് അവരുടെ പാർട്ട് ടൈം ജോലി. അതോടെ ദിലീപിനോടുള്ള ഇഷ്ടം പോയിക്കിട്ടി.
