Hey there! Im on the board of The Port Huron Museums and if you come back to town this year all of our museum sites are free and open to the public 10am-5pm
@@thecruiseworld I have yet to go. I told my mom recently that we need to go. They are getting up there in age and I already lost one of my uncles so I need to hear the stories in person in their home town. I do have a chest that belonged to my great great grandfather who worked on one of the ships & my uncles worked on the ice breaker ships
Thanks for the history lesson on the light ship in Port Huron. I have seen it there but never paid it much attention when we went over to visit my Mom and step-Dad. The light house that you got to go up in seems so far from shore? The Mackinac bridge is scary as it is so long and high especially to some one that is scared of heights.
The whole video was so visually pleasing- the colors are so vibrant- but the the drone shots are my favorite for sure. Well done. Was Ft. Gratiot closed as well?
You should! We have lived here almost our whole lives, and it took the pandemic to get us out and exploring our own state! We are cruisers, so we had to find an alternate vacation and we saw some great places here in Michigan. We would also like to get to Colorado soon, as well! A lot of beauty there also! Thanks for watching Stan!
I'm not into cruises but I'm totally into lighthouses. That's probably because I was born and raised in Port Huron. I've lived in other states, but there's no place like HOMES. (See what I did there?)
Thanks for watching! We stepped out of our comfort zone last summer (unable to cruise) and a=had a great time exploring Michigan--and all the amazing lighthouses!

Thanks for the update! I will pin your message to the top so anyone viewing the video will know.
I remember as a kid looking at slides of Port Huron, my moms family was born & raised there
Thanks for watching! We had a short, but FUN time there... have you been?
