Gotta love it when all 4 members dig a project! I've been a CyHi fan for yeeeeears and I'm glad he didn't let me down with this one - especially since he set the bar so high with that BHP tape. At first there were a couple of tracks I was unsure about (Movin Around & Murda in particular), but they quickly grew on me. Great beats, thoughtful content & lots of wordplay = one of the year's best projects!
Luke James agree man its a solid debut album and cruel winter coming out next year Oh my goodness. Cyhi said he got some verses cooking pusha T finally will drop king push in January 2018 love it.?!!!
Fantano seems like he's inconsistent sometimes, DEHH you can guess what they're going to say. Fantano will shit on Uzi, 21 and Yachty but then praise Lil Pump out of nowhere lmao
Lol, Feefo always finding different ways to say: "I didn't know what to expect..." haha, all love bruh, CyHi KILLLLLED it!! Can't wait for your next CyHi review... After Andre and Jay Elec's projects... in 2050!
Top 5 1. DAMN 2. 4:44 3. 4Eva is a Mighty Long Time 4. All American Bada$$ 5. No Dope on Sundays With an honorable mention for At What Cost and The Never Story
Thank you DEHH! Nice to see an honest review by people who actually know and LIVE hip hop. Sick and tired of critics who have nothing to do with us and review albums two days after the release date just for views.
I didn't even bother playing this album when it came out because I didn't like Chyi on any of Kanye's stuff. Blown away by how good the album was! So so so glad it didn't sound like a Kanye album! He did his own!
as someone from Jamaica i never thought i'd ever hear a rap flip of welcome to jamrock that i would like......bruh cyhi murrrrrdeeeeerrrrreeeedd the beat and made into something even more amazing than it already was. Need a remix wid Jr. Gong on it, neeeeed.
Y'all buggin about that "Movin Around" joint. That's my shit! That's that driving around music right there! Shit definitely bumps in the whip! Feefo know what's up!
You guys please review IWASVERYBAD by Idk. It's ok one of the best albums of the year imo and I think there's songs every member of DEHH will love. There's features from people like MF DOOM, Chief Keef, Swizz Beats, and Del the Funk Homosapien. Seriously don't sleep the album is phenomenal.
I'm just now taking a glance at these comments. To anyone else who (for whatever bizarre reason) actually took my comment of "if you don't like this album you just might not like rap" seriously...please take five minutes out of life and relax. It was clearly hyperbolic. I did not mean that shit literally. Nor was it a shot at any other reviewers as I hadn't even watched/read any other reviews of this album before doing ours. I never do. It's shit like this that makes me think I have to watch what I say so fucking carefully because you guys take every little stupid ass thing so damn seriously and you've been put into a world where you refuse to let "critics" be excited music fans. And excited music fans sometimes say shit that's not meant to be taken literally because they really enjoy something. If you don't like this album, I don't give a shit. It's your life. Your ears. Do what you want with them. But fuck, bruh...chill out.
Myke C-Town damn man people will take offense to anything no matter what you say. Sheesh!! but yeah solid album Should be in my top 20 projects this year. I can't speak for you or anyone else I've had a fun time hearing dope music coming out big krit brockhampton saturation 3, mick Jenkins etc..
Listenersnotes i get what you mean but it can't be in the forefront if i have to dig through the mumble rap first which is hard to escape in the times we living now. But loving Cyhi and Joyner Lucas fresh new music lately.
Daniel Hill no but my point was people who actually care about hip hop culture will look for them and support talented underground artists and people who don't will complain and do nothing to change it. Essentially if you want lyrics go to the underground and put your money where your mouth is and support some indie artists
Daniel Hill and sure lyrics aren't in the mainstream and as long as hip hop is popular, they probably won't be. Because pop fans don't listen to hip hop for the artistry, lyrics or culture. But with that being said, lyrics really aren't that hard to find for those who actually want to find them
Favorite tracks; EVERYTHING! Between the Big Krit project and No Dope on Sunday, my music stay blasting!! I been a big fan of Cyhi and I’m glad the wait is over and he didn’t disappoint. I see you rocking the #HailState big fella
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOOOOOOOU FOR THIS REVIEW!!!!! I love the album and agree with the assessment....I'm bout to play it again and listen for what I missed the last 5 times I've played the album
88MRJONES no dope on sundays and FOES were both dropping that street gospel Krit’s was more of a work of art. The fab and cyhi was just about those epic raps which is dope too. Can’t really debate the 3 but the cyhi vs fab can be debated
on top of this amazing album, Cyhi KILLED 3 radio shows with freestyles. Sway, Flex, Breakfasst club... my god they got just as must repeat value as the album
80s baby is Crazy. After the first listen, every time I heard a different story. A baby in the womb. An album in the industry. “The other guy” who wishes she was with him instead. An artist who remembers what HipHop used to be. That song. Speaking of KanYe, this is like CyHi’s “Be”
Great album and an even greater review and I’m sure Feefo loves this album but he ain’t putting it over Jay 😂 lol .....and also I hope you guys talk about the Joyner Lucas “I’m Not Racist” video it’s shaking shit up out here but anyway keep up the good work #DEHH
The album is pretty cool. I've been listening to it for a while and almost every day in the car. I think I only skipped around 3 tracks so it's pretty solid.
Alex VonBerg .....Fair Assessment ! Nothing that completely blows your mind, forcing you to rewind, aside from New Africa. Indeed a good album though !
I was really disappointed in that cyhi didn’t bring much of his BHP flair on half of this album. Plus some songs dragged on a bit. Overall decent debut, hope he brings something better in 2018.
Ever V He said he’s doing another Black Histori Project next year, but as an album this time. I personally think it’s good that he’s diversifying a bit. Not every project needs to be the same; ultimately he will leave you with more to enjoy.
Culpeppa2ube it’s getting spooky out here all the nino browns done turned pookie out here No cool dudes it’s just goofies out here I mean dudes eating pork wearing kufis out here” god damn fab talking that talk on that FOES man
Whoa it's weird how DEHH loves the album so much, it will prob be Hiphopdx's album of the year. But SpectrumPulse and Needledrop hated it. Would love to see a debate about it
Cyhi is fire. A fool would think he's not, but he does have some simplistic lines. That "porch of geese" bar is subpar at best imo. Doesnt take away from his songwriting abilities. Push really was talking on his verse, and 2Chains gave us the most poop verse ever.
One of my favorite albums this year, I don't see how it's boring as some people say. Maybe if I heard his previous projects I would be less impressed by this project.
They're buggin' when it comes to "Looking for Love." No, it doesn't have Cyhi's best bars, but musically tho. From the distorted production, to the gospel choir sample, that track is fire.
King of MF'ing Hearts it’s getting spooky out here all the nino browns done turned pookie out here no cool dudes it’s just goofies out here I mean dudes eating pork wearing kufis out here”
Tbh the bars were great but a lot of the beats were too mellow for me. Like I just felt like I was hearing kicks, and not much else. I didn't feel much of a balance between bars & beats for a lot of songs on the album.
I like listening to his freestyles because I can just nod my head with the great beats they always give him, as well as be amazed by his bars. I didn't feel that on this album.

Luke James my dude young Jay Bayless
Luke James agree man its a solid debut album and cruel winter coming out next year Oh my goodness. Cyhi said he got some verses cooking pusha T finally will drop king push in January 2018 love it.?!!!
Luke James make me a son
Predicting that Uncle Ken is somehow going to bring up 808s & Heartbreak when they talk about the Ye feature.
Feefo took Lebrons struggle hairline and made a struggle beard out of it
It's so interesting how DEHH and Anthony Fantano can have such vastly different opinions on music.
Aaron Wallace i feel like Fantano’s hip hop reviews are usually wrong. He only likes Kendrick and Brockhampton lmao
They all listen to much more than just hip hop. Especially Myke. Also Fantano likes a lot of hip hop, idk what yall talkin about.
@Keyser Soeze is right
The difference is DEHH actually knows about Hip-Hop.
Fantano seems like he's inconsistent sometimes, DEHH you can guess what they're going to say. Fantano will shit on Uzi, 21 and Yachty but then praise Lil Pump out of nowhere lmao
This is one of the best rap albums this year. I wasn't even a Cyhi fan until I heard this.
me too bruh
Y'all late but good to hear you came into the building.
Watch "Team Backpack" vids. Or his older mixtapes..... Dude been 🔥 fire !
Back to running circles around the A like a @ symbol
This line sounds so simple but I bet on everything I own that nobody thought of this before
Fearless Q8 wow just peeped that
Hitman Holla said surround the a like a at sign in like 2012
Lol, Feefo always finding different ways to say: "I didn't know what to expect..." haha, all love bruh, CyHi KILLLLLED it!! Can't wait for your next CyHi review... After Andre and Jay Elec's projects... in 2050!
Up Next. Jay never dropping that album. I’ve lost hope man :(
Venonous Villain seriously. It's so hard for me to say that and agree because of how bad I want it, but I feel like you're 100% right, sadly.
You know you've made it when you got TH-cam haters

That line was crazy!
Thank you DEHH! Nice to see an honest review by people who actually know and LIVE hip hop. Sick and tired of critics who have nothing to do with us and review albums two days after the release date just for views.
I remember cyhi was on the freshman list a long ass time ago. I wonder why this album took so long to release.
Label issues
I didn't even bother playing this album when it came out because I didn't like Chyi on any of Kanye's stuff. Blown away by how good the album was! So so so glad it didn't sound like a Kanye album! He did his own!
I thought some of his best work was the G.O.O.D Friday collabs. Cyhi went in this album regardless!
his verses on mbdtf are masterful
as someone from Jamaica i never thought i'd ever hear a rap flip of welcome to jamrock that i would like......bruh cyhi murrrrrdeeeeerrrrreeeedd the beat and made into something even more amazing than it already was. Need a remix wid Jr. Gong on it, neeeeed.
Y'all buggin about that "Movin Around" joint. That's my shit! That's that driving around music right there! Shit definitely bumps in the whip! Feefo know what's up!
Yall made this video 4 years ago, and im still listening to no dope on sundays like I was when I first heard it. Cyhi is an ELITE MC.
Feefo’s beard gets worse with every video
matt meekins that shit stay looking patchy 😂
I still think he’s corniest out of the 4 🤷🏾♂️

These people are just insecure about their own tastes in music which is stupid af
Keep being you Myke! Haha
Myke, you don't even gotta explain yourself dude. Those people complaining aren't the type of people you want around anyway.
Keep being you myke haha!!
Haha Myke! Chill out man, there will always be people misinterpreting things.
Can we get a Nu Africa remix ft Kendrick Lamar?
Thank you for this review! I'm happy that Cyhi hardwork is being noticed. My favorite album of 2017 so far. Lyrics need to be back in the forefront
Swizz CC I mean they're in the forefront if you're looking for those kind of artists
Listenersnotes i get what you mean but it can't be in the forefront if i have to dig through the mumble rap first which is hard to escape in the times we living now. But loving Cyhi and Joyner Lucas fresh new music lately.

Very accurate when they said "he makes those double/triple entendres seem effortless" a top 5 2017 rap album 🙌🏾🙌🏾
I'm Cameroonian. I definitely was geeking when he shouted us out in Nu Africa. This album is fire, if you think it's boring then your not a fan of rap

The album is pretty cool. I've been listening to it for a while and almost every day in the car. I think I only skipped around 3 tracks so it's pretty solid.

S/O Cyhi. Sounds like a potential classic. Gotta check it out.
Damn, I want Chick-fil-A now lol.
Can you guys review Dope Lyrics Matter by Horseshoe Gang?
This and black hystori are throwback albums they have a late 80s early90s sound for the most part
always thought Cyhi was trash when i first heard but since yall so hype bout his album i'ma check it out. #DeadEndfluence
Feefo looking rough lol
christopher beard not bumping
Cyhi has flow and bars for days, but this album is pretty boring to me. Not really any bad songs, but only a couple standouts.
Alex VonBerg seriously?
Agree
Alex VonBerg .....Fair Assessment !
Nothing that completely blows your mind, forcing you to rewind, aside from New Africa.
Indeed a good album though !
Get ya money is on certain typo vibe, you gotta love it
"Holla at Obama" is FUNNY! LOL! (6:00)
80's baby is a genius ...NAS like talent on display
I was really disappointed in that cyhi didn’t bring much of his BHP flair on half of this album. Plus some songs dragged on a bit. Overall decent debut, hope he brings something better in 2018.

Whoa it's weird how DEHH loves the album so much, it will prob be Hiphopdx's album of the year. But SpectrumPulse and Needledrop hated it. Would love to see a debate about it
This Project surprised me. 9/10
I really really enjoyed this one. Great Album imo.
CyHi is a freaking beast!
I rock the graveyard shift that’s how we made our chips
Cyhi is fire. A fool would think he's not, but he does have some simplistic lines. That "porch of geese" bar is subpar at best imo. Doesnt take away from his songwriting abilities. Push really was talking on his verse, and 2Chains gave us the most poop verse ever.
One of my favorite albums this year, I don't see how it's boring as some people say. Maybe if I heard his previous projects I would be less impressed by this project.
Imma have to give it a listen after hearing this project
This album is 🔥🔥🔥 his concepts were on point. The features were solid -kanye
Yall not gonna share that chick-fil-a?
Dude this album is fire 🔥🔥 cyhi is the truth
Another dope line "you niggas slow if that just dawned on you like kitchen soap"
I like I’m fine but I just think Closer would have been the perfect closer (pun intended)
They're buggin' when it comes to "Looking for Love." No, it doesn't have Cyhi's best bars, but musically tho. From the distorted production, to the gospel choir sample, that track is fire.
FRIDAY ON ELM STREET
If you guys don’t review this project from jada and fab, then you don’t care about real new york rap with high quality content! 🎤
King of MF'ing Hearts it’s getting spooky out here all the nino browns done turned pookie out here no cool dudes it’s just goofies out here I mean dudes eating pork wearing kufis out here”
Tommy Canlas
Hell yeah! The way they’re so in love with this one, they can at least mention jada and fab.
Please review the fabolous vs jadakiss: friday on elm street
Whose the guy in the background????
Tbh the bars were great but a lot of the beats were too mellow for me. Like I just felt like I was hearing kicks, and not much else. I didn't feel much of a balance between bars & beats for a lot of songs on the album.
I like listening to his freestyles because I can just nod my head with the great beats they always give him, as well as be amazed by his bars. I didn't feel that on this album.
finally electronica 2.0 dropped his album
Yeah let's just pretend like Yelawolf didn't just release an album
