Hey, just try intermittent fasting, you can do 18(fast)/6(eat) window, it works perfectly. Drink water as much as your organism inquires, don't eat too much fried food and most importantly EXERCISE then you'll see result

Starting an exercise routine is hard, because you need to push yourself deliberatly out of your comfort zone again and again. But after a while, it just feels right and needed for a fulfilling time. The headphone metaphor is quite fitting.

It is literally insane to expect kids to deal with school without long enough breaks that they can play some. Like if they have to take 10 minutes to get from one class to the other thanks to different buildings placed far away, then the break can't be just 10 minutes.

I can't exactly say the same. I feel like it might help, but overall I am still depressed. But I also think for me it is largely due to having difficulty coming to terms with life and things I really hate about it.

I'm a little late to the party but I just wanted to leave my thoughts. For those who aren't used to exercising, you will eventually reach a time where you can't live without it. I can maybe go a day without exercise if I walk a lot, but the urge to just move my body eventually takes over. It's going to be one of the best decisions you've ever made.

I agree, I have been working out since early 30's in my 40's now. I actually get depressed, anxious and just miserable when I don't exercise. It is something I will always need in my life!

Couldn't agree with this more. I was always in shape.untill my late ,20s. I put on allot. Stoped working out. Now I still weight allot, but I started working out. Now getting out of bed. Walking up my staircase. Walking around my office. Is just easier again.
Yesterday I had a conversation with my cousin, he excercises regularly and he said if he doesn't excercise he feels lazy and unmotivated to to anything. I told him maybe it's just a placebo effect. But damn it's clearly not
@Michael Kevin Millet no but once I started seeing results 4 months into it, I felt great my endurance increased confidence boosted I took some supplements like prework out that gave me a insane boost of energy, I have let to find an energy that can replicate that feeling but 8 yrs later I still go to the gym not as much 3 or 4 times a week b4 it was 5-6 times and I'm 28 years old

This is so true, as I discovered by accident. I used to only hit the gym at night. About a year ago, I got a new job with later hours and was way to tired to work out afterwards. I took a week to gradually began waking up 2 hours earlier, to train in the morning. I wasn't expecting the amazing ways this totally changed my life. Not only did I gain strength and endurance, psychologically the anxiety I suffered from completely vanished, I now head into the workday with a great sense of accomplishment and feeling great in my body, and my ability to stay focused and productivity skyrocketed. I'm literally in a calm, focused mood all day. Also, the amount of sleep I need to feel fully rested decreased from 9 hours to 7.5, and the quality of it improved. I love waking up, look forward to my AM workout, and have never felt better, stronger or more serene before in my life. I've recommended the change to friends and colleagues, and have seen others thrive too. Try it!
Agreed. I've been a regular lifter for about 8 years, but I finally managed to make meditation a habit for about a month and I can already feel a difference, it's amazing!
I do aerobics, push ups and crunches every morning and evening. I also started meditating daily recently and it's really helpful when it comes to focus and my mood.
I feel more masculine since starting my exercise regimen. I think it must be testosterone. My libido is strong asf lately too. Boners are better, thoughts are clearer. Exercise is the miracle that most of us want but most people don't realize it!
sweating out a lot of toxins so that's a big deal too, you doing what the body was designed to do...something anything...and repeat...get better at task. getting better requires strength and smarts / adaptability & intelligence. As this happens surely we become better at managing our time. many exercises are timed and breaks are timed, doing things we never done before allows our body chemistry to create new proteins that you were simply not producing before you did that different task. so do something different every day. :-o

Mitochondria are responsible for ATP production. ATP is what is needed for energy. Not really sure it directly 'burns fat' as such. Like.. ATP is needed for that but it's a lot more involved.
@Marianne mitochondria use a whole bunch of nutrients like coenzyme CoQ10, absorbic acid, B vitamins and more. If you were interested specifically in burning fat- i would think you need to look elsewhere biologically. Focus on diet and lifestyle- perhaps something low carb. Ive been following keto for fat burning- as it changes energy metabolism from carb and sugar to using as fat as energy. Intermittent fasting could help. Exercise before breakfast. These are some areas you could look into. But obv check with your GP first as keto can be detrimental if not done right. Basically, making your mitochondria work "better" wont really help with fat loss.
@Marianne yes technically energy goes in and out of the mitochondria. Nutrients go in and energy comes out in the form of ATP. ATP would be necessary for fat loss.. in an extremely broad overview i guess

Short version: Exercise is extremely beneficial to the brain. The brain's only purpose is "to produce adaptable and complex movements" thus moving more bolsters your brain power by producing more BDNF. Which can improve mood, focus, learning and so much more. Get out there and exercise dammit!!

Just make a deal with yourself: 10 push ups a day, before breakfast, Monday to Friday, weekends off. Easy. Done. Then, after two weeks, up to 15. Then after two weeks, 25. 50. 100. In sets of 10, no rush, take all the time you want between each set. Stretch your upper body between each set. Walk around slowly. Then add a mile walk a day Monday to Friday. Easy. I do Nordic Walking. Feels great. Start small and easy - something you can easily accomplish and easily stick with - and gently work up. Never stressing. You'll love it. Cheers!
That's because depressions goal, like any other illness, is to thrive in its host (ur brain) so like this video says excerizing keeps you productive keeps ur brain healthy so why would depression want your brain to get healthy? Tbh kick that depression in the cohones go exercise so ur brain is strong enough to kill ur depression first
I went outside and ran 3/4 to 1 block. Every day I ran until I wanted to stop. I didn't push myself further because then running would become a chore. This way I got slowly more and more exercise when I was depressed. Even a little bit helps.
I have ADHD and this is so true after i started exercising frequently my focus has improved. It also improved my moods and cured my depression and anxiety
@Leosen 20 minutes to 45 minutes 3 times a week seems like an impossible task to me..I feel sick even thinking about it. I just can't keep it up for long..the depression takes away any motivation to do anything.
I work in psychiatry- I see so many of my clients that are overweight, depressed, and do nothing all day. No wonder! I wish I could prescribe exercise rather than a pill.

This former retired fitness trainer who ended up with a mild form of MS found this fascinating! I started working out in my 30s in the 1980s with weights and continued through my 40s along with some aerobics. My MS which was very hard to diagnose went into remission for around 20 years during which time I became a fitness trainer! Unfortunately, it got a bit worst by my 60s despite trying to keep the exercise up which is very hard to do when one has MS. Now at 71 I'm back to working out again and hoping a combination of yoga which I've also done off and on since the 1970s and working out with my weights will cause my MS to go back into remission again along with my very healthy clean eating plan. "A barbell is a girls' best friend", not necessarily diamonds! Thanks for the much needed info! " knowledge is power" as well as exercise!
Just curious when did you have your first noticable MS flare? What is your genetic background? Did you take any vaccine within 3 years of onset of MS nerve damage or neurological problems (numbness, tingling, loss of sensation)? As you may already know, some medical researchers believe there's a correlation with vaccines and your immune system. Some vaccines cause inflammation or myelin sheath attack from immune cells.
I just wanted to reply here and say that my dad died of complications partly due to his MS very recently. When he was first diagnosed, and could still function pretty normally, he refused to listen to my mom and the doctors, and didn't go to the gym or stay active. My poor mom even bought him a treadmill and an elliptical, he refused to use them. Fast forward 5 years or so and he was totally bedridden. From your comment, if I end up getting MS like he did, at least I will know how to fight it.
man i still remember when i decided i would prepare for a 5k ( i was already spriniting short distances ) runners high got real my confidence ,my will power my physique stress levels every thing improved drastically even my focus
@@TF80s I find that even 10 minutes of plyo or maybe HIIT can help ,or maybe play a sport you like for about an hour or more you don't need to mantain a work out routine at gym just do what is fun .
Intermittent fasting + exercising is the best combination for me. works well, also always eat fruits and vegetables + protein rich foods. Result: lean body - more muscle - less fat !
That's what I've been doing! Well half at least. I lost 46 pounds and now I'm fairly slim, still have some left over love handles , and a stomach . I do plan to work out soon
Jhudiel John i do exactly the same everyday, I only eat between then hours of 11-7 and workout 6 days a week and run after my workouts. I couldn’t be happier with the results I’m getting
@@monsimix6839 too complicated and you leave out too many very healthy and tasty things you could eat. Just try low carb and you have ketones in your blood enough. Don't need to go full caveman/eskimo.
I’ve been working out for two years, and now body building. I can’t give you enough reasons to start. Discipline, energy, the mental boost, endurance, confidence…I could go on. One thing for sure is, once you are about this life, you cannot go back. Depression and other idiopathic issues will return. I must move, even if it’s just walking daily. A must.
Happy for your gem of a find! I’m sure that has been helping you a lot. It would be lovely if there were more gyms in parks in the world. There isn’t even a park nearby, but I’m going to start working out at home every day whether it’s yoga, body weight, jumping rope, etc, because I also live in a rather unsafe area to go for walks. I was struggling understanding 1 of tough subject during my college years and I eventually went for a jog. I think that was my first time exercising (I was too lazy to exercise back then). Magically, when I returned to studied on the subject, I understand it right away! So get out there and get moving!
After years of if drug addicction i can attest, that the effevt of exercising is better than some drugs. It also helps with social anxiety, depression and lack of motivation.
For those of you sorting by new, I am someone who lifts weights about 2 hours a day, consistently, and my least favorite days are rest days. Wanna know how I keep up the consistency? It’s not discipline, and it’s not habits (I don’t have a regular time when I go to the gym) it’s actually down to enjoyment. I love training, I love the rush, the high, it’s extremely addictive and I feel the urge to push myself even harden so I can feel even more of that rush. My keys are listening to epic music, finding the focus to push myself close to true muscular failure, and using movements that I like. Do you hate lifting and want to run? Well focus on running. Find the joy in expressing your physicality and you will find yourself going out of your way to train consistently. It will become your happy place instead of being a chore

I love dancing and feel productive when I’m on my feet running around. Will continue to exercise & do IF! I knew exercise doesn’t help with weight loss but this is a game changer! I totally believe people's brains shrink and atrophy. Just look at people in Assisted Living Facilities that are wheel chair bound or bed ridden. Use it or lose it!!!

Yes! I will vouch for the sleep better aspect. I have been wanting to get to bed earlier, and yesterday after extensive exercise, I was finally able to do that and also slept a lot better.
What I've Learned: Combine exercise (aerobic and anaerobic[and explosive ]) with goals(1) and natural nootropics (cocoa, cinnamon from Ceylon, rosemary, sage and/or lavandula powders) in smoothies everyday. This will be more powerfull than modvigil or modafinil ("talking" from experience here). Exemple: From 20 push ups in one shot to be able to do 100 push ups or more in one shot two moths later for exemple. From 7 miles in one hour and 10 minutes to 7 miles in 40 minutes, 6 months or one year later. Squats and sprints ... Learn to juggle ... Have mental imageries and emotions of power while training (use your imagination). Do not passively endure "suffering" with only willpower this is significantly less efficient and that could suck you mind dry. It's crucial. That way you will reach a threshold where even when you don't exercise, your dopamine and stuff will stay on top for months.
The way it is explained in this video is best. I just started doing daily exarcise and the improvement I noticed in my focus is really appreciable. I love doing exercise now.

The only thing that I have found so far to improve my anxiety is exercise only. Only when i exercise i feel calm and awake, i lose the feeling of nausea and dizziness, my mind feels fresh and awake. I feel more positive about things. It is strange, that a lot of times when I do feel physical unwell due to anxiety, I push myself to train and suddenly the feeling goes away. It's like a free medication. I highly encourage anyone of any age to exercise

Exercising has literally made me a better person. When I started I immediately noticed that I was less moody and grumpy and this really improved my relations with family, little things that would make me angry or annoyed just didn’t anymore! Even after a day or two without exercising I noticed a huge difference.
I can see that this video has millions of views already. But, it needs millions more. Many people still don't seem to recognize just how vital exercise is and why.

Well, i am a Software Engineer, and my most of my time has to be spent sitting in front of a Computer, i've gained about 25lbs over the last 3 years, and i am now coming to realize the dangerous effects of not exercising. I just recently joined a gym, and plan on going there in the morning, instead of nights, like i used to when i was young. For those of use with work that requires sitting in front of a computer all day, don't neglect to get exercise in your daily routine, or even exercise 3 to 4 times a week, if not daily, it'll benefit you in the long run, and you won't have weak bones, and muscles in your old age. Keep your body moving, we Humans aren't designed to be sitting on our asses all day.
Try asking your company they can get you a standing desk. I'm a full-time student and work part-time as a designer for my school. So, I sit all day too. I don't have a standing desk, but I use a booth to do my work at time.
@@lindavel43 That likely won't happen, as the company cares more about product and services, than sitting or standing desks. Plus, i walk around in the office space every 30 to 40 minutes, it's not that i have to sit constantly for 8 hours, i can get up, take a break, and come back. That's the upside of working in software industry, downside is the horrible hours sometimes.
I'm an equities trader (essentially, also a desk jockey) and here's what I do to stay fit: 1. Standing desk 2. Calisthenics (I retain a decent amount of muscle, despite not working out that much) 3. Fast the ENTIRE workday. (Improves brain function and helps lose weight) 4. Higher fat and protein, lower carbs and NO deserts! NO! Put the icecream DOWN!!!

Oh man, what a great vid! I sent it further to my friends which I try to motivate to exercise. I personally, exercise every day in the morning before work. Interchangeably strength workout mainly with my body using bars and cardio workout riding bicycle around 30 km here in Warsaw. Sunday is for regeneration in sauna and jacuzzi. I was always sport guy but implementing this schedule gave all this you mentioned in vid. For me it was especially important that my self-confidence and strength, understanding as feeling strong mentally and physically went up. Not mentioning my improvement in relieving back pain - I also do extensive stretching sessions after each training. Guys, just keep going and you'll be invincible!

Not really. Machines were made from observing nature. We're organic machines. Machines are made in natures image, just isolated for specific tasks and using melted earth which is less prone to problematic conditions.

This is why i quit consuming caffeine altogether - cant sit at a desk for 12 hours a day chugging caffeine while not moving, im hoping i see great results from lowering my cortisol levels and letting my adrenal glands heal.
Caffeine overstimulates the adrenals and regular use will eventually deaden your senses and life will become less vibrant. Try cold showers, rubbing peppermint oil under your nose, or juicing fresh veggies if you want to replace it
I have ADHD. I cannot focus for a long period of time. But 10 years ago I started long distance running after reading an article about how exercise improves adhd symptoms. It changed my life & my ability focus. I'm 33 now & plan to run the rest of my life if it means I can live without adhd meds.
go sleep at 10-11 pm wake up at 5-6 am. never eat 3 hours before going to sleep ( your body needs more rest > you will be very tired when you wake up ) 6-7 hours is enough sleep to rest properly when you hear the alarm clock, JUMP out of the bed and the first 20 minutes go excercise( run, abs, jump rope, gym, whatever) I know it is hard but try it for 21 days, just install the new habit It is a game changer
I have to thank you for making these videos, sometimes I do things and then after a while I stop because I truly forget why was I doing them in the first place, then I come to your channel and remind myself that I do them for a better me.

I can't exactly say the same. I feel like it might help, but overall I am still depressed. But I also think for me it is largely due to having difficulty coming to terms with life and things I really hate about it.

I'm a little late to the party but I just wanted to leave my thoughts.
For those who aren't used to exercising, you will eventually reach a time where you can't live without it. I can maybe go a day without exercise if I walk a lot, but the urge to just move my body eventually takes over. It's going to be one of the best decisions you've ever made.

I agree, I have been working out since early 30's in my 40's now. I actually get depressed, anxious and just miserable when I don't exercise. It is something I will always need in my life!
Here's the best benefit which he doesn't mention--no one does: it's the way your body feels and functions. Being able to move with more strength and grace is really priceless.
Couldn't agree with this more. I was always in shape.untill my late ,20s. I put on allot. Stoped working out. Now I still weight allot, but I started working out. Now getting out of bed. Walking up my staircase. Walking around my office. Is just easier again.

This is so true, as I discovered by accident. I used to only hit the gym at night. About a year ago, I got a new job with later hours and was way to tired to work out afterwards. I took a week to gradually began waking up 2 hours earlier, to train in the morning. I wasn't expecting the amazing ways this totally changed my life. Not only did I gain strength and endurance, psychologically the anxiety I suffered from completely vanished, I now head into the workday with a great sense of accomplishment and feeling great in my body, and my ability to stay focused and productivity skyrocketed. I'm literally in a calm, focused mood all day. Also, the amount of sleep I need to feel fully rested decreased from 9 hours to 7.5, and the quality of it improved. I love waking up, look forward to my AM workout, and have never felt better, stronger or more serene before in my life. I've recommended the change to friends and colleagues, and have seen others thrive too. Try it!

Agreed. I've been a regular lifter for about 8 years, but I finally managed to make meditation a habit for about a month and I can already feel a difference, it's amazing!
I do aerobics, push ups and crunches every morning and evening. I also started meditating daily recently and it's really helpful when it comes to focus and my mood.

One big thing exercise increased in me is confidence...I didn't have that at all, but now you feel bigger and taller
I feel more masculine since starting my exercise regimen. I think it must be testosterone. My libido is strong asf lately too. Boners are better, thoughts are clearer. Exercise is the miracle that most of us want but most people don't realize it!

sweating out a lot of toxins so that's a big deal too, you doing what the body was designed to do...something anything...and repeat...get better at task. getting better requires strength and smarts / adaptability & intelligence. As this happens surely we become better at managing our time. many exercises are timed and breaks are timed, doing things we never done before allows our body chemistry to create new proteins that you were simply not producing before you did that different task. so do something different every day. :-o

Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.
Mitochondria are responsible for ATP production. ATP is what is needed for energy. Not really sure it directly 'burns fat' as such. Like.. ATP is needed for that but it's a lot more involved.
@Marianne mitochondria use a whole bunch of nutrients like coenzyme CoQ10, absorbic acid, B vitamins and more.
If you were interested specifically in burning fat- i would think you need to look elsewhere biologically. Focus on diet and lifestyle- perhaps something low carb. Ive been following keto for fat burning- as it changes energy metabolism from carb and sugar to using as fat as energy. Intermittent fasting could help. Exercise before breakfast. These are some areas you could look into. But obv check with your GP first as keto can be detrimental if not done right.
Basically, making your mitochondria work "better" wont really help with fat loss.
@Marianne yes technically energy goes in and out of the mitochondria. Nutrients go in and energy comes out in the form of ATP. ATP would be necessary for fat loss.. in an extremely broad overview i guess

Short version: Exercise is extremely beneficial to the brain. The brain's only purpose is "to produce adaptable and complex movements" thus moving more bolsters your brain power by producing more BDNF. Which can improve mood, focus, learning and so much more. Get out there and exercise dammit!!

The real problems start when you’re so depressed that you can’t even feel motivated to get out of bed to go exercise.
Just make a deal with yourself: 10 push ups a day, before breakfast, Monday to Friday, weekends off. Easy. Done. Then, after two weeks, up to 15. Then after two weeks, 25. 50. 100. In sets of 10, no rush, take all the time you want between each set. Stretch your upper body between each set. Walk around slowly. Then add a mile walk a day Monday to Friday. Easy. I do Nordic Walking. Feels great. Start small and easy - something you can easily accomplish and easily stick with - and gently work up. Never stressing. You'll love it. Cheers!

I went outside and ran 3/4 to 1 block. Every day I ran until I wanted to stop. I didn't push myself further because then running would become a chore. This way I got slowly more and more exercise when I was depressed. Even a little bit helps.

I work in psychiatry- I see so many of my clients that are overweight, depressed, and do nothing all day. No wonder! I wish I could prescribe exercise rather than a pill.

This former retired fitness trainer who ended up with a mild form of MS found this fascinating! I started working out in my 30s in the 1980s with weights and continued through my 40s along with some aerobics. My MS which was very hard to diagnose went into remission for around 20 years during which time I became a fitness trainer! Unfortunately, it got a bit worst by my 60s despite trying to keep the exercise up which is very hard to do when one has MS. Now at 71 I'm back to working out again and hoping a combination of yoga which I've also done off and on since the 1970s and working out with my weights will cause my MS to go back into remission again along with my very healthy clean eating plan. "A barbell is a girls' best friend", not necessarily diamonds! Thanks for the much needed info! " knowledge is power" as well as exercise!

Just curious when did you have your first noticable MS flare? What is your genetic background? Did you take any vaccine within 3 years of onset of MS nerve damage or neurological problems (numbness, tingling, loss of sensation)? As you may already know, some medical researchers believe there's a correlation with vaccines and your immune system.
Some vaccines cause inflammation or myelin sheath attack from immune cells.
I just wanted to reply here and say that my dad died of complications partly due to his MS very recently. When he was first diagnosed, and could still function pretty normally, he refused to listen to my mom and the doctors, and didn't go to the gym or stay active. My poor mom even bought him a treadmill and an elliptical, he refused to use them. Fast forward 5 years or so and he was totally bedridden. From your comment, if I end up getting MS like he did, at least I will know how to fight it.

@@TF80s I find that even 10 minutes of plyo or maybe HIIT can help ,or maybe play a sport you like for about an hour or more you don't need to mantain a work out routine at gym just do what is fun .

I always got my best grades during football season. Despite having less time for homework and studying, I was consistently performing better in school
I’ve been working out for two years, and now body building. I can’t give you enough reasons to start. Discipline, energy, the mental boost, endurance, confidence…I could go on.
One thing for sure is, once you are about this life, you cannot go back. Depression and other idiopathic issues will return. I must move, even if it’s just walking daily. A must.
Today I found the gym in the park. Pull ups and weights, for free and outside! It's a nice long walk to get there, too.

I was struggling understanding 1 of tough subject during my college years and I eventually went for a jog. I think that was my first time exercising (I was too lazy to exercise back then). Magically, when I returned to studied on the subject, I understand it right away! So get out there and get moving!

For those of you sorting by new, I am someone who lifts weights about 2 hours a day, consistently, and my least favorite days are rest days. Wanna know how I keep up the consistency?
It’s not discipline, and it’s not habits (I don’t have a regular time when I go to the gym) it’s actually down to enjoyment. I love training, I love the rush, the high, it’s extremely addictive and I feel the urge to push myself even harden so I can feel even more of that rush.
My keys are listening to epic music, finding the focus to push myself close to true muscular failure, and using movements that I like. Do you hate lifting and want to run? Well focus on running. Find the joy in expressing your physicality and you will find yourself going out of your way to train consistently. It will become your happy place instead of being a chore

Yes! I will vouch for the sleep better aspect. I have been wanting to get to bed earlier, and yesterday after extensive exercise, I was finally able to do that and also slept a lot better.
What I've Learned: Combine exercise (aerobic and anaerobic[and explosive ]) with goals(1) and natural nootropics (cocoa, cinnamon from Ceylon, rosemary, sage and/or lavandula powders) in smoothies everyday. This will be more powerfull than modvigil or modafinil ("talking" from experience here).
Exemple:
From 20 push ups in one shot to be able to do 100 push ups or more in one shot two moths later for exemple.
From 7 miles in one hour and 10 minutes to 7 miles in 40 minutes, 6 months or one year later.

Learn to juggle ...
Have mental imageries and emotions of power while training (use your imagination). Do not passively endure "suffering" with only willpower this is significantly less efficient and that could suck you mind dry. It's crucial.
That way you will reach a threshold where even when you don't exercise, your dopamine and stuff will stay on top for months.
The way it is explained in this video is best. I just started doing daily exarcise and the improvement I noticed in my focus is really appreciable. I love doing exercise now.

The only thing that I have found so far to improve my anxiety is exercise only. Only when i exercise i feel calm and awake, i lose the feeling of nausea and dizziness, my mind feels fresh and awake. I feel more positive about things. It is strange, that a lot of times when I do feel physical unwell due to anxiety, I push myself to train and suddenly the feeling goes away. It's like a free medication.
I highly encourage anyone of any age to exercise

Exercising has literally made me a better person. When I started I immediately noticed that I was less moody and grumpy and this really improved my relations with family, little things that would make me angry or annoyed just didn’t anymore! Even after a day or two without exercising I noticed a huge difference.

Well, i am a Software Engineer, and my most of my time has to be spent sitting in front of a Computer,
i've gained about 25lbs over the last 3 years, and i am now coming to realize the dangerous effects of not exercising.
I just recently joined a gym, and plan on going there in the morning, instead of nights, like i used to when i was young.
For those of use with work that requires sitting in front of a computer all day,
don't neglect to get exercise in your daily routine, or even exercise 3 to 4 times a week, if not daily,
it'll benefit you in the long run, and you won't have weak bones, and muscles in your old age.
Keep your body moving,
we Humans aren't designed to be sitting on our asses all day.
Try asking your company they can get you a standing desk. I'm a full-time student and work part-time as a designer for my school. So, I sit all day too. I don't have a standing desk, but I use a booth to do my work at time.

Plus, i walk around in the office space every 30 to 40 minutes, it's not that i have to sit constantly for 8 hours, i can get up, take a break, and come back. That's the upside of working in software industry, downside is the horrible hours sometimes.

I'm also a Software engineer. And I exercise with a 45 minute Run first thing in the morning before I go near a computer. Health comes first.
I'm an equities trader (essentially, also a desk jockey) and here's what I do to stay fit:
1. Standing desk
2. Calisthenics (I retain a decent amount of muscle, despite not working out that much)
3. Fast the ENTIRE workday. (Improves brain function and helps lose weight)
4. Higher fat and protein, lower carbs and NO deserts! NO! Put the icecream DOWN!!!
It is the BEST antidepressant.
Another huge reward that exercise gives me is the improvements in my body shape. Building muscles is very exciting and makes me want to exercise more

I personally, exercise every day in the morning before work. Interchangeably strength workout mainly with my body using bars and cardio workout riding bicycle around 30 km here in Warsaw. Sunday is for regeneration in sauna and jacuzzi.
I was always sport guy but implementing this schedule gave all this you mentioned in vid.
For me it was especially important that my self-confidence and strength, understanding as feeling strong mentally and physically went up.
Not mentioning my improvement in relieving back pain - I also do extensive stretching sessions after each training.

Not really. Machines were made from observing nature. We're organic machines. Machines are made in natures image, just isolated for specific tasks and using melted earth which is less prone to problematic conditions.

This is why i quit consuming caffeine altogether - cant sit at a desk for 12 hours a day chugging caffeine while not moving, im hoping i see great results from lowering my cortisol levels and letting my adrenal glands heal.

Same here bro, it was best decision i have made in recent years.
Caffeine overstimulates the adrenals and regular use will eventually deaden your senses and life will become less vibrant. Try cold showers, rubbing peppermint oil under your nose, or juicing fresh veggies if you want to replace it

I have ADHD. I cannot focus for a long period of time. But 10 years ago I started long distance running after reading an article about how exercise improves adhd symptoms. It changed my life & my ability focus. I'm 33 now & plan to run the rest of my life if it means I can live without adhd meds.

go sleep at 10-11 pm wake up at 5-6 am.
never eat 3 hours before going to sleep ( your body needs more rest > you will be very tired when you wake up )
6-7 hours is enough sleep to rest properly
when you hear the alarm clock, JUMP out of the bed and the first 20 minutes go excercise( run, abs, jump rope, gym, whatever)
I know it is hard but try it for 21 days, just install the new habit

Alessio B 8hours minimum works for me. Or 5-6 hours and a nap in the afternoon. I workout 3x a week so that also means i need more rest.
