    Hai professor Dave sir can u please tell me octatetraene is anti aromatic or non aromatic..which I questioned in our aromaticity session

      it's nonaromatic because it's not planar

    chloride ion is always a nice leaving group and the oxygen from carbonyl group always gets protonated
