- You may be familiar with carbonic acid as the thing that makes your sodas nice and fizzy. But its derivatives are of tremendous importance in synthetic organic chemistry. Let's take a look at some of these derivatives, how we can synthesize them, and what we can do with them.

Sir I don't know whether you see this comment, but you really helped me with some tough chem concepts 😘😘 love you lot 🙏🙏🙏
Woah where’s the hair!? You helped me get a B in OCHEM 2, I could’ve done the A but it was too many reactions to memorize. Thanks Dave!
Thanks was searching carbonic acid derivatives for quite some time now 😄
I feel like I just stepped back into my O-Chem class again. Great lesson Dave.
I am so glad that people like Professor Dave exist in this world. By seeing these scientific lessons, I am assured humanity will be moving forward in our development!!! Thank you so much Dave for your work!
Love it.
But I know that curtius rearrangement follows concerted mechanism,in this reaction nitrin does not form
Sir pls I want hetero cyclic compounds classes .. can u pls explain
Their synthesis and properties and applications
Hai professor Dave sir can u please tell me octatetraene is anti aromatic or non aromatic..which I questioned in our aromaticity session
it's nonaromatic because it's not planar
@@ProfessorDaveExplains wow I got reply from God of chemistry.. thank you so much..
*Do a video about **_lac Operon_*
i did that, it's in my biology series
this guy looks like a drummer
And indeed he is!
chloride ion is always a nice leaving group and the oxygen from carbonyl group always gets protonated
it has to be acidic conditions for that to be the case
so is it safe for humans? because i got an ad saying you should wash your hair with carbonic acid
Thank you chemistry Jesus
What am i doing here i know nothing about chemistry and i should be studying math i dont even know what any of the words he are saying means
Hahha. I first noticed the hair😂
Prime
Thank u sir from pakistan
