hey! i'm still doing this cuff at the moment but i just wanted to let you know it's an amazing tutorial, it's not too complexed for my mind and it makes sense. thanks!
I can help! Sorry I’m late though lol I make a slip knot on the piece of string I want to add. then I put the loop over the piece of short string. I pull one end of the slip knot and tighten it onto the short piece of string. Lastly I trim off the messy strings. Sorry if it doesn’t make sense 😬
Hello thank you for sharing your content!! I'm currently trying to make this cuff but I couldn't figure out where the long string came from after you cut the excess from the black and red string. Please help Lol
I'm so glad you like it! I see what you mean! In the beginning you want to start of with a kandi single (1 row of beads) then you tie it off. What I did was that I cut off the short end of the string after tying it off. And the long end I continued to use! If this isnt what you mean, please get back to me! I hope this helps💖🌈
@@kandikadet Thank you so much!! That helps a lot as soon as I get further I'll let you know how it works out or if I run into any other snags. Thank you for your help!! 💐
This tutorial was so helpful!! I do have some questions since i'm new to kandi. How do you know how much string you'll use? And how did the string on your needle just keep going?
It depends! If it's a bigger cuff I do around 2 to 3 wingspans. When doing bigger cuffs I usually like to have more string as I use the larger sized scraps for some of my projects! But, you can always add more on if you dont have enough!
