I like to tinker a bit to experiment with different options and possibilities, but I often make the mistake of tinkering too much to where I wind up forgetting my initial instincts. So while I’m tinkering enough to keep my mind open to possibilities now I’m trying to avoid tinkering to the point of where it just becomes confusing noise
Few people value Klopp higher than myself, but the fact of the matter is that quite a few palyers have opportunities to be much more effective under Slot. I think this is also one of the main reasons why we haven't signed new players yet. Players like Darwin, Gakpo, Mac Allister, Szobo, Elliott, Diaz etc. could thrive under Slot and he is defence first type of manager, too, so defenders should bring more returns than in the past two seasons. There is definitely uncertainty about who starts up top and on the left flank but LFC as a whole is in much better shape than when SAF left Man United or Wenger left Arsenal. Klopp and his staff embodied the spirit of LFC perfectly and their legacy lives after their departures, but it wasn't all about Klopp, it's more about the standards, ideologies and that kind of stuff and those things are still in place. Slot is more similar than different than Klopp, so there shouldn't be any major shocks to the culture of the club etc. They can continue building on the success of the Klopp era, whereas United & Arsenal were already trending downwards when their long-serving managers left their clubs. VVD and Salah are perhaps approaching the later parts of their prime years but other than those two and Robbo, the main players are still at good age and can further develop as a players. FPL wise it's perhaps best to play it slow or trust in the known qualities early on. I expect TAA to get 180 points over the season and Salah to get 30 goal involvements. Other than them, Darwin and Jota could push for 20 goals should they lock a place on the starting XI and stay fit. Macca or Szobo could get around 150-160 points each should they stay fit, these are similar numbers than say Douglas Luiz and Bruno G. got last season.

Liverpool will be motivated to keep clean sheets in gameweek 1 and beyond. If Virgil plays, and theres no indication he doesnt start as of now, LIV CS chances are too high to pass up on. Trent could easily have an assist and CS in gameweek 1 and suddenly you are ahead of the curve. Salah will score but the question is 8pt returns or 17pt returns. Haaland could outscore him in the opening four fixtures but LIV have a lot of quality fwds and mids at their disposal unlike 17 other PL teams (Man City and Arsenal stand out).
You say that like they had no motivation to do so in the past. Motivation is irrelevant to keeping CS, the system has to be good and the players have to be adapted correctly. You don’t keep clean sheets through just being motivated. Maybe they will be, but we have no idea how quickly or not they will adapt to Slots tactics
