    Thank you! very useful vidéo: I mod mine just as It arrived and use a 2S 1200mah. I had to add some weigh on the servo side in order to limit the difference but very efficient! thanks again!

      I don't think you can get this battery anymore, I would recommend going with like a 650 milliamp or below 4 weight distribution on this boat, anything from gnb is a pretty good bet on Amazon I wish youtube would let me share links I would grab a couple for you. Emax, GNB, CNHL, all good battery brands.

      Hey great post! Although the guys at the hobby shop near by told me the 21c TATTO 1000 battery you show in the video might burn or damage any component eventually. Also the factory charger for the battery will not charge the Tattoo 1000. I ended up buying another one like the factory one it comes with. Any tips in making it go a bit faster and lasting a little longer? Can you confirm if anything got damaged in yours after you installed the Tatto 1000? Thank you!

    Hello, Did you have to change the plugs in order to use the new battery? If so, did you change the plugs on the boat, and all of the batteries?
    I am going to order the boat and the battery, but it they look like they have different plugs?
    Thank you

    • @SteadfastRC
      @SteadfastRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah brother I did change the plug on the boat as well I swapped it over to an xt30 connector which is what I use and all my other smaller models so it is kind of a standard for me, I either run XT 30s or xt60 is on all of my models and batteries, I don't know if you're familiar with installing XT style connectors but they are very easy to solder compared to other styles of connectors, if you need any help let me know, I could bust out a quick video tutorial on installing xt30 if you need me to, also please subscribe if you haven't already and thanks for watching

      @SteadfastRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SteadfastRC I found these, does it look like these will work? ALSO, have you ever used anything bigger than the tattu 1000 mAh? I was reading the manual, and it says up to a 4000 mAh battery. I'm thinking, yeah...sure...the boat wouldn't even float, even if you COULD fit it in there. Anyway, here's the link to the batteries I found. I'm just thinking about buying this now, or, I would measure the inside myself. Thanks bro. Check out my channel if you're into rc rock crawling. Lots of the videos say it's lead but obviously these days no one puts lead in anything especially stuff for kids and these weights are clearly stamped with 5g and 10g and the elemental designation for steel. The weights are steel!

    • @SteadfastRC
      @SteadfastRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      First off thank you for watching! All the electronics are stock and the battery is a 2s not 3s. I dont think you can find this exact battery anymore but a 2s 600-800 mah should work, just check the size first. Please stay tuned for more proboat action!

      @@SteadfastRC so you dont recommend going with the 1000mah, rather smaller? Is it too heavy?

    • @SteadfastRC
      @SteadfastRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@rafal630rr It depends on what you want , 1000 mah gives more runtime and a smaller lighter battery will give more speed, I like the balance between the two, somewhere around 450 to 650 mah.

      @SteadfastRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1
