The Massada massacre happened 3 years later. The Dead Sea Scrowls were desperately copied here during those important last years & stored in nearby hills of Qumran because obviously the Romans were hell bent on destroying any biblical literature that challenged their Sun worship. The term "Jew" first appeared in Europe in the 15th Century. What happened to the other ten tribes of "Israel" - they were scattered to the four corners of the World. Only the tribe of Levi & Judea remained in Palestine. In the 12th Century this remnant was over-run by the Turks & forced to convert to Islam & became the Palestinian farmers.

I certainly would strongly caution anyone from taking their own life as that is only God's place to do. Suicide is certainly a sin that no one should do.
