I drove this car for a bit when it came out in 2020 and it is definitely a powerful BOAT. Its so large but so fun to drive

Since it wasn’t mentioned, this vehicle is a twin turbocharged 4.4L V8 boasting 523 hp, an 8-speed automatic and Towing capacity of 5,950 lbs. I own one, it’s an insane daily driver.
Defenitely cool - that car is massive. I also like the interior. BMW did a great job to my mind.
Love mine in Carbon Black. 2nd row bench is the best seating option to get.
5500 miles, 20.5 mpg so far, 80% highway.
The X7’s are 👌🏻. I think I’d have it over the X5. Literally drive and feel the exact same.

I just got an X7 M50i and the ultimate dad car. You can have literally 5 kid car seats and go 0 to 60 in 4.5 secs . I have 2 and third row is usable and will work child seats too.
This guy makes me want to go get one of those machines right now and it’s 7 am..

I have one in Carbon Black metallic, and I love it-far superior to any Asian piece of junk I’ve owned. My only complaint is that it isn’t large enough: it could use another 4 or five inches to increase third-row legroom. But that’s the ONLY thing wrong with it!

Yes, if your vehicle has the option. It has stop-n-go in traffic up to 40 mph where no need to touch steering wheel or gas/brakes. Over that it has automatic cruise control with lane keeping, but you have to put your hands on the wheel except for short periods.
ohhhh, $113k... here in finland the x7 m50i starts at 190k and the cheapest x7 (30d) starts at 130k😭

What is the purple flashing light on the driving cluster?
That's the inferred lights that monitor your eyes to see if you are paying attention (such as with self driving modes like stop-n-go traffic). You cannot see them with the human eye but the camera picks them up.
