Unfortunately Luffy's combo game is pretty trash... He's a farcry worse than his J Stars incarnation. Characters who require assists to deal damage are not my cup of tea. Luffy's average DPS isn't bad by design but his combo-ability is worse than average.

sad that luffy doesnt have his JETTT PISTORUUU in his moveset, or a cool pose for gear 2nd :(
Coureir Red hawk is the most underrated move in gear 2nd so they put it instead of jet pistol

bro that’s beyond facts, when i first saw bounce man as someone who wasn’t a one piece fan it was a big turn off, only when u see it in the anime once u have been watching is it pretty cool and hype, but seeing it from the perspective of a non-one piece, or soon to be, fan it doesn’t do the series justice, only ended up watching it because my cousin put me on when he stayed over my house and was hooked ever since. can’t agree more tho, if snake man was in this game, i would have decided to watch one piece myself no doubt lol that transformation is insanely dope and looks fire asl

Despite the flaws, Luffy's combos are deadly mighty! Well-executed! I think anyone can perform combos like that if they just practice!

Snakeman would play the same as a shooting game honestly, except you can control the turns each shot makes

Well in my opinion: Sasuke's good utility with decent damage. Amaterasu is such a good utility move while his other options are fairly good as well. I feel like Luffy's combo game is rather lackluster but his skills are good. Asta is fair as well. You could struggle with opponents who use ranged assists and moves often, but with the right amount of pressure and utilization of Sasuke it shouldn't be too much of a problem. However, you should 100% play who you like!

Mugiwara No Monki Di Rufi sounds terrible. I’ve only heard bad things about Jstars and this takes the cake.

They both have some interesting combo options. Maybe J Stars for the simple fact there's no Mobility Gauge substitutions or High Speed Counter shenanigans.

The time stamp at 0:26 or 1:26? The former looks like the normal hitstun for that attack combination (either his [forward or back]+square combo). The latter, at exactly that timestamp, happens when Luffy lands Hawk Gatling.
