Love your approach of stepping up from beginner to intermediate to advanced. As a beginner, I now feel that I can buy an intricate floral stamp and get a beautiful effect without having to color each tiny bit individually. I also enjoy your pacing and voice. Thanks for the tutorial!

Beautiful cards as usual Kelly!!! Your gonna have to teach me how to create a bouquet of flowers like you do....they are amazing. The few times I've tried to do them, it was an epic fail....like I'm not even kidding. I don't know if I was overlapping the flowers too much or what, but they were atrocious!! Please do a video for the bonus card!! I would love to see how you pulled that one all together!! Thanks again for my daily dose of Kelly humor!!! I rock a top knot almost everyday lol!! try using a brush that has been damp dried to get some of you pooled colour that you don't want I find it a little more manageable then paper. P.S. I love your tutorials

You’ve inspired me to use my perfect pearls more! I hadn’t touched them in quite sometime... do you ever use any other color, besides the pearl color? Just curious... because of course- I have a few of the colors lol.
I do have a few more colors, I keep meaning to make a video using them. Maybe this is the push I need to do it :)

I gotta ask how do you get the nail polish on your nails to go dark by the cuticle and lighter as it goes up? I know this is not about the card but I've been watching your videos for I think a year and I've always wondered...!! Great cards...and as always great coloring...!!

Beautiful cards!!! Can I use watercolor pencils?
I think so! I haven't tried it but I don't see why not. I would just make sure you're done with all your watercoloring in the background before you go in with the pencils.
How do they look a few days later? I find the pigment of distress oxide splits and you can lose some color...
Do you find perfect pears to be very different from using a metallic watercolor? I have gansai tambi starry colours, and I use the white to do a similar effect. But I havent ever tried perfect pearls.
Pippa I haven't noticed them separate or split ar all. The perfect pearls are probably a pretty close match to the gansai tambi white shimmer pan. Perfect Pearls is probably a better option for people who don't own an entire palate.

About the hair. If I’m not leaving the house I don’t even comb it. But then even when I am going to work I just put my head under the faucet in the bathroom, towel dry it, comb it and Ta Da my hair is done.
what kind of pen do you use to outline the stamped images? It looks like a different pen in each video. Do you limit yourself to copic friendly pens? I used a multiliner (not copic) and decided after to touch up some of the girl's face. OOPS! Luckily, I was able to cover the smear by giving her freckles. Now I only use my copic multiliners but would love to find something I can use that has a lower price point.
I do only use Copic safe pens for exactly that reason! I'm glad you were able to save her with freckles. I use the same one in every video and it's an EK success journaling pen shrsl.com/?hpxa

I like it but I don't use it open very often. I usually cut things at 4 1/4 or 5 1/2 so I'm not really sure how it functions with using it open.
