Don "The Snake" Prudhomme Is Back In a Funny Car!

One of the highlights this weekend for the 69th Running of the U.S. Nationals was the throwback that was announced by Ron Capps to the iconic 1970 Barracuda adorned in the HotWheels logo. We got a chance to see the unveiling of the car as well as see Don Prudhomme get to warm up Ron Capps Toyota Supra ahead of qualifying.

I was lucky enough to see the legendary Snake in the original car vs the Mongoose many moons ago at the old Norwalk Dragstrip which is now Summit Motorsports. Great memories

So Awesome I met Don in 1979 @Assumtion Drag way in Assumption, Illinois now closed,I was 8 years old and helped him push his car and when my Dad came looking for me I was washing my hands in his trailer 💗🇺🇸💪
