You have 14 days to make sure your name in the app matches your ID. If you are already past that I'm not sure if it will cause any issues, and you should probably ask at www.reddit.com/r/PiNetwork/
Considering that the feature is called "KYC passport" I'd say that right now you can't use anything besides your passport for the KYC process. I'm sure that there are plenty of users that don't have a passport, so I'd recommend that you voice that "feature request" on the Bee Network Facebook page + message them there and via email, so they see the demand for that as well.
In the new app i can't login with my facebook. So this is only option i verified. I only can create new acc with phone number. Does it mean that i loose all my bee?
If you are unable to log in, keep using the old app and check every few days if there is an update for the new app and try again. You shouldn't create a new account.
Because, as mentioned in the news on the main page of the app, the KYC process has been closed for now and will open again for the next batch of users in the future.
KYC phase one ended for now, so you'll anyways have to wait until the next KYC batch. In any case, you'll need an official ID issued by your government but a passport is the safest choice and will work for all countries.
At some point national IDs should also be supported for most countries, but in general, go and get a passport since you'll need it for so many projects and platforms in the crypto space.
Unfortunately, I haven't encountered that issue yet. Maybe you are still on a guest account and first have to "bind" Facebook/Google, or your email in the settings?!

In any case, just make sure that you have the latest version of the app installed and try again after each update. I'm confident that any bugs that are currently preventing a few users from completing the KYC process will be resolved in the future.
You'll have to decide for yourself if you are comfortable with that. I already passed my KYC verification during the first run and have no problem sharing a picture of my passport.

Still considering the progress made by the app during the last couple of weeks despite the issues they had with the Google Play store I'm confident that the issues you are experiencing will be resolved in a future update as well.
Just try again after the next update. Currently a few users have that same issue, so I assume the Bee Network team is already aware and will fix it soon.
Download the new app and try to log in there. If the login works and you can see you existing balance go ahead and remove the old app. If the login does NOT work, then keep using the old app but try updating the new one every few weeks and check again if you can finally login.
I'm a little worried I have 2 problems.. When I click on KYC Passport it does not open. I mean, there's no response to my click. The other issue is that on the app I typed my name Shirin but in my passport all the letters are capitalized as SHIRIN. I would be grateful if you could suggest solutions

If you are able to log in into the new app then you can delete the old one. If you have issues with the new app then keep mining in the old one for now.
Yes, I keep my apps updated mostly because I trust the verification processes that Apple has in place to prevent harmful apps from showing up in the app store in the first place. Everything that doesn't also have an iOS app I install either on our spare Android phone (that doesn't contain any sensible data or apps) or in an emulator like Bluestacks.
No, it needs to be done eventually for you in order to someday be able to transfer and use your Bee coins but we are at least one year away from that point. So there is still more than enough time + currently - as far as I know - the KYC process has been closed and will repopen for "batch two" in the future (no date specified yet).

Why the new version of Bee won't let me logged in using my facebook verification account which already gathered me some bee mining sessions since i started it? That issue only affects a small percentage of users and I'm sure the Bee Network team is working on it. In the meantime, keep mining in the old app and simply try logging into the new app after each update.
@@ChristianRauchenwald I tried it man opening the new version and it asked for the invite code, now i use my own invite code from the old version, i have 2 bee apps now running both the old and new. And it didnt add up my old sessions to the new app, KYC is available in new app but wont open.
Currently, no. I recommend that you message Bee Network and post on their Facebook page so they are aware that they should introduce solutions that support national ID cards as well.

Since the new version has a different name you can keep the old version parallel for now. So, download the new version and try to log in, if it works you can delete the old version. If it doesn't work, make sure to message Bee Network on their Facebook page or via email and let them know (provide details, like the device you are using + the sign up method).

1. Yes & no. Since I'm using Bee Network on iPhone there is only one version. However, for Android you'd have to use the new version that's currently in the Google Play Store. 2. No, right now - as far as I can tell - you need a passport. I'd recommend posting on Bee Networks Facebook wall and maybe messaging them so they are aware that there are a lot of users that don't have a passport but only a national ID. 3. Yes, when you go to the same menu and press "KYC Passport" again it will show your your verification details. 4. Yes, but I don't have a video showing it. First, whatever action you have to do has to be done AFTER the 5 second countdown. Second, don't worry if you fail the KYC verification 3 times you will still be able to later use the KYC Crowd feature where other users in your country that fulfill certain requirements will then check your ID.

In that case, you can either check if you can find the APK of the old app somewhere or simply wait for the next update of the app. Considering that Bee Network still has a long way to phase three I don't think it makes a huge difference if you miss a few days or worst case weeks of mining.

You should NOT create a new account and try using the same sign up method you used in the old Bee Network app. If you can't log in for some reason (or are asked to pick a new username) then just wait for the next update and try again and keep mining in the old app for now.

If you already removed the old version of the app you'll have to wait for the next update and simply try to login again. Don't worry, considering that Bee Network still have a long time before it reaches phase three is doesn't make much of a difference if you are missing a few days or worst case weeks of mining.
You need to log in into your existing account using the same method you used to create it in the old app. If that doesn't work for you, then keep using the old app and try again every couple of weeks.
Sorry, unfortunately, I don't have a video that covers their KYC process. You need to get LIBRA to get a KYC slot and then it also uses a third party solution.
Please sir I lost my first android phone which I was using to mine pi coins . I had connected my Facebook profile to my pi network account before the phone got missing but I got a new phone now and I am unable to access my pi network account using Facebook and I have lost my password. I have tried using my Facebook profile to login but the search icon keeps on searching and searching until it stops please is there any other way out to access my account? Then Bee Network wouldn't use a third-party for the verification (that they have to pay for) but would just develop some kind of scan for your ID themselves to actually gain access to the entire data.

You should have first installed the new one (since it's using a different name) and only if you have no issues removed the old one. Maybe jump on our Discord and ask in the #bee-network channel for the APK, I'm sure somebody there can send it to you so you can keep mining while Bee Network fixes that issue in the new version.

Don't change your phone number, or at least keep your old SIM card as well.

Yes, I keep my apps updated mostly because I trust the verification processes that Apple has in place to prevent harmful apps from showing up in the app store in the first place.
Everything that doesn't also have an iOS app I install either on our spare Android phone (that doesn't contain any sensible data or apps) or in an emulator like Bluestacks.
Is there a certain date that this needs to be done by or?
No, it needs to be done eventually for you in order to someday be able to transfer and use your Bee coins but we are at least one year away from that point. So there is still more than enough time + currently - as far as I know - the KYC process has been closed and will repopen for "batch two" in the future (no date specified yet).

Did you by chance also link any of your social accounts like FB so you can use them to sign in instead?
@@ChristianRauchenwald so far I have binded and login via Google email (which is right) but unable to reset password under security. As for FB I can't remember if I did binded. And lastly, it won't accept my phone number to be binded. Message says it's binded elsewhere.
Only thing I can see is yellow background whenever I open the app. Only time can access is when needed to activate the timer

I missed the 1st round for the KYC. I can put my name down for the 2nd round of the white-label. One of the questions is what is your ETH Wallet address? I'm not entirely sure what this is? Is this your crypto wallet address that is linked to your bank?
It's the address of your Ethereum wallet if you have one. If you don't then just leave it empty.

That issue only affects a small percentage of users and I'm sure the Bee Network team is working on it.
In the meantime, keep mining in the old app and simply try logging into the new app after each update.
@@ChristianRauchenwald I tried it man opening the new version and it asked for the invite code, now i use my own invite code from the old version, i have 2 bee apps now running both the old and new. And it didnt add up my old sessions to the new app, KYC is available in new app but wont open.

Currently, no. I recommend that you message Bee Network and post on their Facebook page so they are aware that they should introduce solutions that support national ID cards as well.

The new version requires re downloading the new version what happpens if we cannot login with our current account and our mined coins are lost
Since the new version has a different name you can keep the old version parallel for now.
So, download the new version and try to log in, if it works you can delete the old version.
If it doesn't work, make sure to message Bee Network on their Facebook page or via email and let them know (provide details, like the device you are using + the sign up method).

1. Yes & no. Since I'm using Bee Network on iPhone there is only one version. However, for Android you'd have to use the new version that's currently in the Google Play Store.
2. No, right now - as far as I can tell - you need a passport. I'd recommend posting on Bee Networks Facebook wall and maybe messaging them so they are aware that there are a lot of users that don't have a passport but only a national ID.
3. Yes, when you go to the same menu and press "KYC Passport" again it will show your your verification details.
4. Yes, but I don't have a video showing it. First, whatever action you have to do has to be done AFTER the 5 second countdown. Second, don't worry if you fail the KYC verification 3 times you will still be able to later use the KYC Crowd feature where other users in your country that fulfill certain requirements will then check your ID.

IIRC right now only passports are supported.

The verification is done instantly and you'll see your verification details if you again press the "KYC Passport" menu item.

In that case, you can either check if you can find the APK of the old app somewhere or simply wait for the next update of the app.
Considering that Bee Network still has a long way to phase three I don't think it makes a huge difference if you miss a few days or worst case weeks of mining.

You should NOT create a new account and try using the same sign up method you used in the old Bee Network app. If you can't log in for some reason (or are asked to pick a new username) then just wait for the next update and try again and keep mining in the old app for now.

If you already removed the old version of the app you'll have to wait for the next update and simply try to login again.
Don't worry, considering that Bee Network still have a long time before it reaches phase three is doesn't make much of a difference if you are missing a few days or worst case weeks of mining.
How to transfer my mined bee on a new bee app?
You need to log in into your existing account using the same method you used to create it in the old app.
If that doesn't work for you, then keep using the old app and try again every couple of weeks.

Then Bee Network wouldn't use a third-party for the verification (that they have to pay for) but would just develop some kind of scan for your ID themselves to actually gain access to the entire data.

You should have first installed the new one (since it's using a different name) and only if you have no issues removed the old one.
Maybe jump on our Discord and ask in the #bee-network channel for the APK, I'm sure somebody there can send it to you so you can keep mining while Bee Network fixes that issue in the new version.

Yes, the coins you earned form that user would get burned as well if he never completes the KYC verification.
