My horse, Cash, needed a makeover! so that's what we did. I groomed my horse, then I bathed my horse, I trimmed my horses mane and much more! He looks sooo good now! & lots of clips in this video are super satisfying! :)

My trainer doesn’t agree with braiding or taking care of manes and tails AND she’s against baths 😀 my horse gets a secret makeover every week

the.real_equestrian they do get baths just maybe once per summer which isn’t enough because we’re in a super dry area :) although I make sure to wash my leases mane and tail every 2 weeks other than that it isn’t my horse so
This is sad 😞 we wash them every 2/3 weeks and we don’t braid there hair a lot but we still braid there hair

I say the the shape was a star. I have a horse and I live in California, she is black but she does not really get rain rot, she really only gets it when it is raining super hard in the winter.Also my familiy may have found a border collie we may foster or adopt and I will definitely use your tips! My horse gets really bad rain rot on her legs in the summer and there’s some lotion that works SO well but o forgot what it’s called
Zinc oxide - diaper rash cream. Helps keep the moisture off.

Julie’s daughter- Yes they can get rain rot multiple times (I used to think it was called rain rod) it is a fungal infection and is also contagious to other horses 😣.

Like I said in the video, this is just our second summer with him! He’s only 3&1/2 & we are going to be continually learning about his skin & irritants! We are definitely looking into a rug for him :)
