There’s a lot of people who are saying they’re so privileged. How can they be sitting their in their designer robes and saying all this and that.. but that’s THE POINT! They’re saying we have all of this and yet we’re not fullfilled, we’re struggling mentally, bc of our environment! Bc of the food we’re fed, bc of the “grind” culture. But they’re saying non of these materialistic things matter if you’re not happy. I hear them 100%!

For anyone thinking about leaving the US just make sure you fully research. I agree that the US is becoming very expensive and traditional family values are declining. If you plan to keep your US citizenship you will still need to file taxes yearly whether or not you live in the US. There are also rules about how much time you can spend outside of the US so look into that. While there are many remote work options available since the pandemic, some companies can and will restrict where you reside. Lots of companies will not allow you to work for them from outside the US and have VPN and location settings to help regulate that. You must immigrate properly in order to find employment in the country you are moving to and that will take time. It’s not something that will happen in months. Just FYI for anyone that is thinking about it. It can be done but it is not as easy as just finding a place to stay. You have to think about immigration, employment, and other regulations.
Also - I like Bramty and the family content so this is no hate but a week or two of staying somewhere will not give you a true taste of what life can be there. If you truly want to move to another country I would suggest you visit for 1-3months in order to truly get a feel for the environment.

      @LizzieTheMidgetWoser 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +30

well said!! definitely shouldn’t decide something based of a week trip 😅 hopefully they will do deep research. and do everything RIGHT so that they (especially Bramty) doesn’t lose her residency because i believe she isn’t a full US citizen, so she needs to make sure she is well informed about everything regarding immigration because they will be immigrants in another country regardless .

Your comment is absolutely helpfull but also keep in mind that every person has a own plan and own path to follow. Although being somewhere for short time..we don't need months to understand how well your mind and body and Soul alligns with a country. Having money and a plan that is realistic is the only aspects you need when moving to another country. Choose a country that alligns with your mindset, weather and language preference. If you have a well educated mindset, settling is possibly much more easy!

As a costarican there’s a lot of problems with medical and economics for Costa Ricans,
Considering we’re such a small country it’s crazy the amount of Americans that want to come here and how it’s starting to increase the cost of living. Each country has their own problems. Look into what it actually takes to live in a foreign country that you don’t necessarily come from

It’s so easy to say that moving out of the USA is a good option due to economy when you’ve only TRAVELED! there’s a HUGE difference when u travel to a country rather than living there while working as a commoner. Lots of people have migrated to the US not only bcuz the opportunities but also due to how much safer it is. When u travel u don’t stay in the pueblos u stay in the touristy areas of course you’re going to love it, you travel with US money of course you’re going to think it’s cheap, y’all forget that US dollars have much more value in Latin countries. The same way u win is the same u spend in Latin countries which is why there’s a lot of poverty and family’s decide to migrate for a better living not the mention the crime ratings….. I am Ukrainian, live in US alone for 2 years. My advice is: better build a family and then move. It might be okay in the beginning. But that lack of purpose, of your own family - no matter how many friends/colleagues you have around.
Living alone so far away is definitely a great experience and it develops your character, you are strong and nothing can breaks you. But the worst part happens when it actually breaking you…
The best part about all this is that you can become close to God as you never were before. Which I did.
Pray to God for desires of your heart and he will fulfill you with what is right for you.
I am also in a battle of going back to Ukraine or make it through here.

I think things just seem cheaper coming from America because everything is more expensive but people make way more money too for a regular 9-5 like most latin countries doing hard labor or selling stuff for 12 hours you could make $10 a day so $600 for school is still expensive. Assuming you still make what you make here and have a cheaper lifestyle than yeah that's a steal especially as an influencer, if you continue to do that vs live a local life. Having that said the US is becoming a struggle in every aspect with inflation, safety, and corruption it's all bad.

I’m glad you guys are seeing the reality of what many ppl in the US struggle with. So many countries out of the US are beautiful! But please do not go to another country in Latin, central, South America or the Caribbean and gentrify it. You will be raising the cost of living for all those other people there. And those people do not have the same economic status and privilege to just change their mind and move back to the US if they don’t like it. If you do move there just be very mindful of the people that live there. At the end of the day, that is their country their home and their culture. You have to adapt to their lifestyle. Unfortunately so many countries in all Latin America are being gentrified, because US citizens wanna save a buck or two in property, taxes and food. It’s selfish because it raises the cost of living for the other people that live there, meanwhile US citizens are saving money. I’m not saying don’t do it, I’m just saying be very mindful of that, and have a lot of respect for the people and the country you decide to move to. I think it’s a beautiful experience to have your children learn more cultures, learn about different countries and live in different places . They will be very educated, traveled and it humbles you as a person. The US has never been what it pretends to be , there is no liberty and justice for all. We have a lot of work to do here but unfortunately the politicians do not allow it.

"Because God has made us for Himself, Our hearts are restless until they rest in Him" - St. Augustine of Hippo
I think people are starting to realize why we were created - to love and to serve (each other and God). Not for earthly things but for heavenly things - to love each other and God. I went through an existential crisis where I came to the conclusion that if there was no God there was not purpose .. it drove me to severe depression and anxiety for months. Thankfully the Holy Spirit and my stubbornness led me back to Jesus and the Catholic Church. I hope one day all people come to this realization because it truly gives meaning and perspective to whats important. Blessings to you Bramty, Luis and everyone.

Living in the us and making good money and then moving to another country is a good idea because you grow up here and get a good education BUT people who live and are born and raised(at least majority of them) don’t have the opportunity to pay for going to the doctors or to build their own house! Specially in third world countries! It’s called the American dream for THOSE people not people who are born and raised here because they never had any huge struggles like people from other countries. But making good money like TH-camrs and living in other countries where everything is cheaper is a good idea!

Bramty, one thing you need to pay attention to in other countries is taxes. Also healthcare because a lot of the countries that have "free" healthcare, they pay an insane amount in taxes and if you need to see a specialist, they have waiting times of 6 months or more. It definitely isn’t for everyone and you need to be open to be adaptable to a new culture and way of living, but as you two mentioned once you travel and see the outer world you can never see the U.S. the same again and it doesn’t become a matter of if I leave it becomes when am I leaving. I don’t recommend traveling somewhere just for the purpose of seeking to live there, rather explore the world and maybe that will make you see the world differently and make you want to explore another way of living. The vocabulary they use sounds like they don’t know hard facts. Just stating that living in the US is “crazy” and “insane” is broad and generic. I don’t understand why she’s complaining about a hospital bill when she admitted to not having health insurance, no offense but what did you expect? It’s no secret that having children costs money…

Also not paying a bill, is this what you want to teach your kids? That is NOT RESPONSIBLE! No offence 😮 😮😮😮

So obviously you did not pay attention to what they’re really saying… they literally said at that point is not about the bill or the money.. it’s how corrupt the system is and with or without insurance, birthing a child plus having them in the Nicu is insane to have a bill that large! No one should have a bill that large to birth a CHILD or even twins And they also said they’re still doing their research lol and are considering to move to Costa Rica… they don’t have to have all the facts right now to spread awareness because it is true.. living in the US is indeed CRAZY and no wonder many people are considering moving, I would too.

@@jasminem725 I couldn’t finish it, but from what I gathered the point is they want to leave. I think they should leave if they want I don’t think anyone cares. Just sounds incredibly tone deaf considering their life is the definition of the American dream. I don’t think they need to feel the need to justify their decision to anyone. If they want to go just because they feel like it and they can then that’s all that needs to be said.

@@gabyleon9241Finish the podcast before you gather “gists” of what they’re saying when you’re MISSING THE WHOLE POINT. This is their platform and they are allowed to express how they feel and THEY ARE TOTALLY RIGHT. The U.S. is getting worse and there is no change happening. It also SHOULDN’T cost money to EVEN HAVE CHILDREN ITS CRAZY THE COST IT IS TO GIVE BIRTH IN THE U.S. If you think that’s correct and that’s how people should live then your brainwashed and need to educated yourself!

You guys are literally living the “American dream”! Having nothing to something. You guys are so privileged to be able to move out of the country and be okay because you’ve created this platform! America sucks, we all want out but how can we do it?

To clarify, if you are first generation, that means you were the first generation to be born in the United States. Second generation relates to the children of first generation. So for example, their children, would be second generation.
