hey, i have a 2000 Saturn ls1(not the engine), and i am planning to make an engine swap on it, which i am looking to be a "stupid" swap if you will(similar to the hellcat swapped accord), and i was thinking of an ls4. the Saturn is already fwd, so it shouldn't be too hard, the engine bay is big enough. and i have a quick question for price, what is a normal price for a full ls4 engine used? I am new to the LS series of angine.
@@dehestmann9486 first of all I love those cars I’ve always thought they were awesome, and I found 4 in my area ranging from $800-$1800(with transmission) I wouldn’t pay more than $2000 for one, have you ever thought of doing an lsj swap?
that is the supercharged 2 litre correct? i would definitely do that, are those compatible with the 4t45e transmission? i want to keep the auto trans for a while, but i dont know where i would look to get those, i try to build engines with a large aftermarket support as i am in the middle of kansas with no places near by to take off of old cars, i have a lot of questions as this is my 3rd build, and the first ones were little 4 cylinders, 375hp turbo pt cruiser, and an NA jetta. i know about zzperformance, but do they sell lsj blocks?
@@dehestmann9486 I think they do but I’m not sure about compatibility with an auto as they’ve only been sold with manual cars. I’m also not sure if a 4t45e would be able to support the horsepower of an ls4
bought a 07 impala SS with 90k miles and rebuilt trans for 3900 year and change ago good work car with a V8
@@davidestrada7337 that’s a great deal, I love these cars as daily’s
I'd love one of those!
It’s been a fantastic car so far I’m already 8,000 miles in and the only thing that went wrong was my passenger rear tail light went out!
F150 buyer guide: Rusted frame, 3v 5.4 triton, rotted out exhaust. Mint.
10k take it or leave it
