- I am absolutely loving all of the new mixed reality experiences that were starting to see for Quest 3 but this one has become one of my favorites!
Ocean Rift has always been an amazing app to showcase the power of Virtual Reality and it was one of the early VR experiences that brought a sense of wonder but this mixed reality update takes things to a whole new level!
If you just got a Quest 3, Quest 2 or Quest Pro or already own one and just haven't seen this yet I highly recommend giving it a look.

I used to have ocean rift on my samsung gear and refused to pay for it again on quest 2 and 3, but now i kinda wanna 😂
Yeah I agree if you bought it on any platform you should just be able to download it again but I will say the mixed reality edition has made it worth the repeated purchase.
They should also have mermaids :D

I brought this last week to try it, sadly I can’t unlock the mixed reality mode. Apparently they can only have so many people on the beta?! It looks so incredible too! Gutted I can’t try it 🙈
If it's showing is locked you might want to make sure that you've done the complete room setup and have your boundaries enabled... I noticed that the first time I tried it there was a little lock symbol on the MR mode and once I went into the meta software and did the full room configuration where it scans all of the surfaces and then you draw out where the windows and doors are in your room the lock symbol disappeared and I was able to access this mode.

@@vrgamerdude So, all i need to do is set up the boundary's of my room in the meta software ( i take it with the headset on ), because i have the same problem and can only swim in the open water but can not make an aquarium of the room. When i start this "game", i am directly in the open water and have no option for mixed reality. I have a quest 3 and bought the game about a month ago, are there different versions (maybe an old version) ?
Edit : I found out there ARE different versions of this game. Steam is selling the "old" version and Quest the "new updated". I bought it on quest and have all the options now. So if anyone wants to buy this "game" (and you should), then buy it from Quest as Steam only sells the old version.
Are the graphics improved for the quest 3?
they look great but could still use a bit more polish.
Can you do anything else like run a web browser or watch a movie while you have the aquarium around you?
I just bought a quest 3 and own this game from my quest 2. If you don't get your answer by the time I set it up this weekend I'll try and remember to let you know

Hey sorry for the late reply I got really sick after coming home from GDC but no unfortunately at this time you cannot run multiple apps.

I let my uncle view my ocean rift app. And he someway changed the language on the app. To French, how do I change it back to English? The meta quest 3 is all English, it's just my ocean rift?

Shame the visual quality is really shitty while wearing unlike the recorded footage
While I agree that the mixed reality mode in headset doesn't look as good as what you see on camera in no means does it look shitty! (≡)-/
This didn’t work for first time has it been updated now the mix reality looks so cool can’t wait to try. It’s nice to see you so excited about this thought it was just me I love this quest 3 sub like.
