Just a question about taking busses When I take a bus and there's amap showing its route, when it passes an interchange, does it always stop at that interchange and all the passengers get out? In this case, its route 9 passing Dickson Interchange. Sorry if the question seems like a little much, I'm pretty new to taking busses.
Hi Tam, When a bus passes the interchange it usually stops because many people get on and off there, but you don't need to leave the bus if it is not the end of the route. The only time you where everyone gets off the bus is at the end of the route or if the bus breaks down. Bus 9 continues past the interchange, so you don't need to get off the bus until your stop. To alight from the bus, listen to the announcements about which stop is coming next and when you hear the name of your stop you just need to press the button. That lets the driver know you want to stop at the next stop and then you just hop off. In short, i is common for buses to stop at an interchange mid-route and you don't have to get off then.
