$67k with Nexen tires. They’re going the same direction as healthcare in America. The older I get the more I’m a fan of base model vehicles with minimal options. Base models feel like I’m supporting the America we all know and genuinely love.
I rented a2025 Laramie for a week. The twin turbo is a very quiet motor. It has enough power for me. I wouldn’t race my buddies but it takes off! Ran it pretty hard in Rocky Mountain National Park.! Did great! Had Nexen tires2.
Took one for a test ride, while doing oil change on my Jeep. Had a chance to ride for like an hour. Very impressive ride. The I-6 is so smooth and very powerful. No joke. It is NOT the HEMI, sounds wise. But, I have to say, you forget you are in a pickup truck. The interior is amazing. Very comfortable seats and great option on the Laramie. If I had the funds, RAM #1. I drove Chevy, GMC and the ride way better on the RAM.
This is on my list to drive in person, I’ve got a 6k Travel trailer and looking at comfort for road trips. How about a SUV series for towing 5-8k travel trailers? I’m not finding information on the newer model Expedition, Tahoe/Yukon and Durango/Wagoneer. Sequoia is represented but nothing on the others.
My friend Just pick up a 2025 Ram 1500 Laramie 4x4 pick up truck at the end of last month with the new TT Hurricane 6CYI engine !! And his TT Hurricane 6CYI engine just lot all oil pressure and started to knock and blew up !! So it was tow to the Dealership and the engine was put apart ,found that the oil pump Failed and the crankshaft Snapped in half !! So the engineers are checking it out to see what further went wrong, so that's a major problem, already !!! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️👎👎👎
I don't really care about the incandescent turn signals, but for that money, put a bed liner in. Seriously. The 6 passenger capacity is a nice addition. And, I still wonder about the long term reliability of relatively small displacement engines putting out that kind of horsepower. I'd much rather a normally aspirated V8 with that kind of horsepower, bigger motor, less stress, less issues.
“TRADESMAN” model must have “1” spray in bed liner !! “2” MULT-FUNCTION TAILGATE as a “STAND-ALONE” OPTION with no extra expensive packages required “3” SKID PLATES “4” REAR LOCKING DIFF “5” Floor shift 4wd

You can find a well optioned ~70k Laramie for 20k off msrp all day long. That being said, I’d be super uncomfortable owning it outside of a warranty coverage
Why do you recommend the larger fuel tank so much? It's a $445 option just to be able to carry 7 more gallons of gas in the tank? It's not like you're comparing a 5 gallon tank standard to the option of 33 gallons. I can go to walmart (if I didn't already own them) and purchase two 5 gallon gas cans for less than $40 and put them in the bed of the truck if I was THAT concerned with being able to carry 7 more gallons of gas. Maybe if standard size was 26 gallons or I could get a 50+ gallon tank for $445 it'd be worth it, but for 7 more gallons? Not even close to being a good deal. To each their own, I guess...
540 horsepower and 0-60 in 4.7 not enough for you? If you want to pull and haul, then go with the Ram 3500 HD. it'll pull nearly 17 long tons with 3.45 long tons in the 8-foot bed with its 1.070 pound-feet of torque and 410 horsepower.
Until Stelantis start listening to customers instead of the EPA I purchased my last Ram after 40 years of owning them. It is not europe, we dont have a world government and wont be buying a euro spec truck with a 3 liter 6 instead of a V8 espeshly for the price it should have a Hellcat. We need someone to Step up and buy Chrysler and make it American again. Elon are you listening.
I suppose having the 2025 Ramcharger, which can pull 14,000 pounds and produces 660 horsepower and 613 pound-feet of torque isn't enough just because it's a hybrid? And, when you're just driving, you can go 700 miles with it. It goes 0-60 in 4.4.
@@charlesdalmas6534 Nothing to do with being a hybrid 14000 pounds is less than half of what I need. The electric range is so low towing is not an option. In cold weather electric is not an option due to temperature effect. Running out of range in cold weather states and provinces can cost you your fingers, toes or even your life. This is not my theory its for real. I have lived and worked all over the US and Canada in Alberta and Alaska. We need our one ton trucks running on Gas or Diesel for their work payload capacity and to pull or 5th wheel homes wherever we work. Enviromentaly we keep our vehicles for over half a million miles which is a very efficient use of resources. The devil is always in the details.
I really don’t understand how people feel like this competes with an f150. I think at this point if you this ram is superior. You have NOT sat in a f150
I think digital and dip stick be great…digital be cool to check fast but when loading oil how long would the digital take to show the correct amount of oil?…
Tell you the truth this truck is the same 2019 ram pick up truck limited. How do I know that cause I own one and it is not worth the money that they $40,000 $45,000 that’s it.
My 2019 Laramie is fully loaded and had an MSRP of 65K. I got it for 52K. This looks like shit compared to mine with full LED lighting and 22" wheels with no chrome. No thanks RAM.
Can u do more talkijg close to the mic? I do listen to your vids for entertainment/info reasons. But a big reason for me personally, is your unintentional asmr. But i gotta be careful watching your vids while driving. Cuz that might be my last ride☹️

i've had 2 sets of nexen's on my '13 1500. Rhodian AT Pro RA8 (60k milees) & now the ATX. no probs w/either
At least the Nexan's don't implode at high speeds like Firestone's used to...

Seeing a person being where they are meant to be doing what they do is amazing.
Love it the way you explain the details as far as the engine is concerned great job

I know most people buy these trucks to get groceries in but if I’m spending that much I’d be looking at a F350 that can actually do truck work.
Why all the incandescent lights now?
My 2015 had led
It’s a nice truck but I’m not seeing why it’s $6k more than 2024. You mention the engine but is that really it?
Lexus as far as I'm aware does not use the ZF 8 speed auto in any of its vehicles. Audi, BMW, RAM, Chrysler, Maserati, Dodge...etc... do.
Payload and max towing?
Standert?
You can get a silverado high country, fully loaded for this price
I drove both. Wait till you ride the RAM.
It is easy to see why these are so sad after
Is it aluminum? I live in Michigan and it will be alumidutys as long as I am above dirt!
No digital dashboard is good because it’s adds upfront cost and I am sure it would cost three times more to fix the digital when it breaks

Hemi forbid if 1 of those turbos fail....
67k for that truck. No thanks, I will probably get an F150 STX for 50k and also a 5.0 V8.
