Hand Lettering with Chocolate Milk + Hellfire

- In this video, I turn a hilarious quote about chocolate milk and eternal damnation into a fun design. Follow along as I sketch, refine, and color a quirky illustration filled with playful lettering, flaming text, and a ridiculous milk carton. It’s a mix of absurd humor, creativity, and a bit of insanity.

@18:25 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 made me laugh out loud. Love your sense of humour Chris
Haha thank you!
Great work as always! Love the riso look! One thought I had was to flip the milk carton around and have it spilling out of the mouth of the carton instead of the straw.
Thanks! That would have been cool.
the editing is A+ and the artwork turned out fantastic!
Thxxxxx glad you liked it!
Thank you. I watch so many artists, and it's so nice to actually click with someone and understand what they are saying and how it applies and where it's going..
Really enjoyed this video and I love seeing so many revisions. I'm glad it's not just me!
For some reason, I fool myself into believing that "good" artists do it all in one fell swoop!
(wouldn't that be the most awesome thing ever????)
Glad you liked it! We all have to refine our work to get it to the best point, technically I could go right in a do something tight that would OK, but the iterative process almost always gets me to a better final outcome. Working quick and loose allows you to think about the whole thing at once. So glad you like my content! 😊
That is hilarious! I'm glad you showed us the original clip.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Always love the humor and the work is so damn good. Thank you illustration daddy!
Illustration Daddy😂 I’m definitely going to illustrate that poster rn
Ps. Sick work on Zynga dood 👌
lol thank you!
@@jasarole Thanks for looking, mang. I still can't believe they wrapped that three story logo on the building. We made the initial comp to show something over-the-top and they immediately wanted to do it! We were blown away and so stoked they did it. Sorry neighbors. :) We also designed a blimp of the dog to fly off the top of the building, but that didn't make it all the way to the finish line.
Thank you for being so generous in sharing your thought process, brother. It must get intimidating not filtering all the things your brain does, but it makes us new artists especially feel less like we’re the only ones trying to figure everything out.
Yes! that's agreat way for new ideas! also Should I get a glove while using the nano texture and what about pencil grips ?
I feel sorry for the fictitious person that’s going to hell without finishing their chocolate milk.😢
lol!
Love the art work.
Thank you Nick!
What an incredible title. 😂
hahah thank you
'Milk propaganda' this cracked me up!
Haha I feel like it was crazy!
Recently discovered your channel and am now going back to watch all of your videos as you have helped me break out of a creative slump. Question, do you only vectorize certain pieces and keep the majority of your works in pixel?
Hey thanks! Glad my content has been helpful. I generally prefer to work in pixel over raster as I have more control and because I work at high resolution anyway, it’s almost always fine for whatever I (or my clients) need. On occasion I work on projects that need to be vector for any number of reasons, but it’s less often than you might think.
@ Good to know. Thanks for the response!
Never been this early before (for me) but I love your videos!
Thanks so much!
Real world seat time, without walking us through it… how much time does something like this take for you?
I think this one was about an hour and a half.
What is the globe for? I thought that with the ipen was not necessary. Gracias!
Sometimes I like using it for sliding my hand on the screen more easily. It’s not for touch rejection.
Grade A content!
Thanks so much!
Why do you have your phone in front of you when you do these videos?
