I cry every time. If you look at Ellie's family celebrating in the church, you can see someone doing a handstand! Their feet moving back and forth in the air!😅🤣
The movie UP has the most beautiful love story in the first 8 minutes than any movie ever. Aww, I see the love between the both of you, and that's so rare to see these days. Stay in love ❤️ This movie made me cry 3 times! When Ellie passed away, When Carl saw the other photos of their life together and when he gave Russell the Ellie badge.
This hit us so hard right out the gate, we were not expecting to get that emotional, especially not that early in the movie! This entire movie was so beautiful! Yes we love each other so dearly and we do our best to support each other as much as possible 🥰 the movie almost got us in those same parts as well. It was so nice to see that Ellie still filled out the adventure book with her new adventures with Carl and when Carl came thru for Russell and gave him the Ellie badge omgggg! Such a great movie! 🥰🥰

"Adventure is out there!" Fun Fact: The picnic destination early in the movie is a spot under the same tree from A Bug's Life (1998). Standing Ovation Fact: The very first animated film, as well as the first 3-D film, ever to open the Cannes Film Festival. When the film was over, the Festival audience remained completely silent. During a panel at the 2011 D23 Expo, executive producer John Lasseter said that it was actress Tilda Swinton who broke the silence by applauding and leading the audience in a standing ovation. RIP Colby Curtin Fact: Before the film's worldwide release date, Pixar granted a wish from 10-year-old Colby Curtin to see the film before she died. Colby had been diagnosed with cancer and was too sick to go to a theater. A Pixar employee flew to the Curtin's house with a DVD of the finished film and screened it for her and her family. Curtin died peacefully seven hours after seeing the film, knowing she was loved and surrounded by family.

The music of the opening segment, alone, can bring me to tears. This animation is THE one that proves that animation is not just for kids. the situation with the house amid modern construction was from a real situation in Seattle. Take a message from this movie and live for today and take those adventures
In the commentary Pete Doctor the director said at test screening when Carl hit the construction worker with his cane the audience laughed at first and then when they saw the blood on his head you could have heard a pin drop.
Agree...that silent montage of Carl and Ellies' relationship over the years...then its heartbreaking conclusion..Pixar Animation Studios are absolutely brilliant with their masterful storytelling skills.
The beginning , when he realizes his wife was happy with the adventure they got to shared with each other after he thought he had let her down and the Elly badge really got me.

Watching you two comfort and cherish each other after the "married life" sequence was so sweet. That scene wrecks EVERYONE but it also serves as a beautiful reminder to love your spouse to the fullest and cherish what you have while you have it. And then towards the end when Carl finds that Ellie had filled out the book with their life together as her adventure and he was finally able to move past her death... tears all over again. This movie is a wacky adventure but it makes such a massive impact because it's loaded with masterfully told life lessons. I must admit this one of my favorite Animated Film where I ended tearing up a bit . I am not surprised it won an Oscar award for best Animated film . It was produced by Pixar and distributed by Disney .
Me knowing how the film goes and watching the reactors all happy about the couple then me waiting to see their happiness crush into sadness when they get to that part.
You’re not human if the beginning of this film doesn’t just crush you. This is also on my Mount Rushmore of Pixar films along with the Toy Story franchise, Finding Nemo, and Ratatouille.

Up really touched my heart and soul. It made me cry how Carl lost Ellie. It still made me laugh with some of the funniest moments. I still look back at some of my memories I had with my loved ones 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣
Roger Ebert called the opening one of the best short films he'd ever seen. What's truly amazing is how the rest of the movie unpacks those scenes of loss, life purpose, and moving on. Muntz failed that test. And that open wrecks EVERYONE.
Oh my goodness this is the SWEETEST comment thank you so much I am so happy to know that you can see and feel our love through the screen, the two of us are truly grateful much love you boo 😘😘😘🥰🥰🥰
He was definitely putting himself in Carl's shoes. He couldn't imagine losing the love of his life & being alone like Carl. Loved y'alls truly heartfelt reaction to the Married Life sequence. I severely judge a person's humanity if they don't at least get a little choked up during that scene.
Obviously, aside from death being a sad situation, I think that moment is so emotional because on top of him losing the love of his life, he feels like a failure because he never realized their dream (or so he thought), which is just absolutely heartbreaking, to think that you failed the person you loved most and now it's too late to do anything about it. This is also why it's so impactful at the end when he realizes that they lived their full lives, they HAD their adventure together, and that she was happy - whether in Paradise Falls or not. It lets him know that he wasn't a failure as a husband as he thought. I've never cried harder for any other movie, whether animated or not. This is probably my favorite animated movie of all time.
I'm not usually for reaction channels, but this movie got ly curiosity waaay too much. The wholesome relationship between you two is just so welcoming and brings a smile to my face! As so many other commenters mentioned, never worry about showing your emotions! Especially crying to the infamous beginning of this movie. Being emotionally devoid during that just make people question you instead of the other way around. Lmao I love this movie, and I loved your commentary!
I cry every time i see that. I've unfortunately kinda lived it. You teo are so sweet, I love you two. Remember cherish every moment you two have with each other.
It doesn't matter how many times I watch those first 20 minutes I always get teary eyed. You guys have one of the best couple reactions I have seen. You are wonderful.
This is my first time coming across this channel and within the first few minutes, I’m already in love with these two. Your relationship is so sweet and heartwarming ❤️
This film is amazing masterpiece. It also tackles of taboo subject in western world: Growing old. In a western world old people are not respected or appreciated. Once you stop being productive person you become liability. Its horrible thing. Elderly people have so much knowledge and experience society could benefit. Instead once you become pensioner society starts waiting you to die, so they can get expenditure away. No wonder people are being scared aging and retirement.
Wow, yes you hit it right on the nail!! Stating nothing but facts, it's another element that just makes the entire film that much more emotional. It's a sad cycle, because in order to break that fear of aging that means everyone will have to embrace the fact that the elderly are so valuable. Unfortunately many people aren't prepared for that, so the cycle just sadly continues, hopefully one day that will change!!
You two made me cry. What a beautiful moment between people who love each other. Thank you. Do it all. Say it everyday. Laugh as much as possible. My husband had the Cadillac of deaths- a widow maker heart attack in his sleep. I am so glad our last words were I love you. There is never enough time with the person you love.
Thanks for having a cry with us 😭😭 yes we have to make sure to laugh, love, and enjoy life to the fullest every single day! So sorry for your loss 😔 🙏🏽 yet so happy that your last words to each other were I love you ❤️❤️ may he rest in peace and know he is watching down in you with great joy and happy to have been your husband! ❤️

I know I’m late to this reaction but this was hands down the best reaction to Up I’ve ever seen. Y’all are so sweet and clearly in love. It was beautiful to see y’all share that moment together in the beginning of the movie. A lot of men don’t realize the beauty in spending your life with someone. Especially when y’all grow old and have to take care of one another. So happy y’all shared that with us!
What a real reaction from the gentleman. The beginning montage of UP, is poetically executed. I subscribed because of this reaction. Looking forward to more of your videos.
I had seen this movie with my 10 yo niece, when it first came out. And I remember crying and thinking, I can’t believe I’m crying at a cartoon! Whoever created this, did a wonderful job!!
That would have been us too 😭😭 excellent job executing that intro! Was your niece confused as to why you were crying or did she get it to a certain degree?
The first time I saw this movie, I was watching it at home on TV with my sister and parents. I think it was the TV premiere of the movie. There was a big storm outside and the cable went out briefly. As in, we saw them as little kids and the wedding shot, the cable went out and the TV froze, and when it came back on it was Carl on his own before you see the construction around his house. I still cried my first time watching because the end gets me too, but can you imagine the pure shock the second time watching Up? I had absolutely no clue what we had missed in those few minutes and the first time seeing it all the way through it was so unexpected because everything I had seen was the fun-loving part of the movie.
I know its been months but in the scene in the hospital there is scissors and tape on the table next to Ellie, she put all those pictures in the section "Stuff I am going to do" while she was dying as a final goodbye to the man she loved.
@@BAUScoupleReacts yeah the movie is a tear jerker the other hidden gems. The guy in the suit is Russel's dad that is why he was hanging out there trying to be noticed by him.

So I'm currently 3min into your video & the moment I saw how immediately you both took to Ellie and Carl, smiling so big & repeating the stuff in the scene, saying how cute they are, I just know I'm gonna be crying with you both. Instant Sub. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🥰
Update: geez you two! You're such a beautiful couple. The vulnerability between yall is amazing. I love to see it 🥹
Awww thanks for subbing, we appreciate you! 🥰😁 Yes we connected with both of them instantly such a cute pair even from when they were kids. The real life messaging about not letting life get in the way of your dreams, in the way of your adventure, is so real. It really got to us! Hope you got a good cry in with us! 😂😂
Awww thanks for calling us a beautiful couple 🥹🥹 yes we try our best to be open and vulnerable with each other and we always do our best to support one another 🥰🥰
In my opinion, the scene where he finds her scrap book is more sad then the beginning. Hits like a train every time
RIP Ed Asner as Carl Fredricksen and Christopher Plummer as Charles Muntz. They both lived a good life and will live on forever
😭😭😭🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I must admit
this one of
my favorite Animated Film
where
I ended tearing up a bit .
I am not surprised it
won an Oscar award
for best Animated film .
It was produced
by Pixar and
distributed by
Disney .
Me knowing how the film goes and watching the reactors all happy about the couple then me waiting to see their happiness crush into sadness when they get to that part.
I don't know how to feel about this 😂😂
This is the most beautiful reaction to UP I've seen, and I've seen them all.
Its ok to cry brother. This movie made me weep. I cried my damn eyes out
Thank you! 🙏🏽 I wasn't ready for that level of emotion 😭😭
@BAUScoupleReacts I remember seeing this in the theater, there wasn't one person who wasn't crying lol! It's a great movie. Great reaction too!
This is the only movie that actually makes you cry with only the intro
You’re not human if the beginning of this film doesn’t just crush you. This is also on my Mount Rushmore of Pixar films along with the Toy Story franchise, Finding Nemo, and Ratatouille.
One of my top 3 animated movies ever!!! Just amazing!! It's like a kids movie mixed with an adult themed movie that everyone of all ages can understand with equal feeling!! A masterpiece!!
Absolutely suchhhh a valid rating!!! We definitely would have to agree the more you think about it and dive in you can't help but appreciate this work of art even more!!🥰❤️ Thank you for sharing and enjoying this movie with us!!!
I cried with your reaction 😭 !!!!
awww thanks for having a cry with us! this really got us in our feels! 😭😭
You guys are UNBEARABLY cute, I can hardly stand it! Perfect reaction couple for this movie lol
😂😂😂thanks for bearing with us and watching our reaction! This was such a sweet and fun movie! We loved it 🥰🥰
you know a movie is good when it leaves you in tears in the first 10 minutes
Cried when watching the film. Cried when viewing this reaction. Even ugly cried when reading the *comments!* I must have needed an emotional cleansing. Anyway, I’m so glad I subbed your channel. You two are role models for supportive love.
The fact that you were able to get emotional right with us is so amazing love this so much!!! Sometimes we all need a good cry thank you for sharing with us and we appreciate your support so many hugs and kisses your way! ❤️❤️❤️
and the movie is relatable in so many ways
100%!! it's so wild!!🥹
Ughhh i could watch this movie on repeat and it will never fail to make me cry
23:58 this part gets me every time. It’s heartbreaking that he thought he let her down by not ever going to paradise falls.
Hope I get to live a life like y'all. You two are so effn adorable. So supportive to each other.
awww thank you! yes we do try and support each other the best we can and we wish the same for you in the future 🤗
Up really touched my heart and soul. It made me cry how Carl lost Ellie. It still made me laugh with some of the funniest moments. I still look back at some of my memories I had with my loved ones
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣
Roger Ebert called the opening one of the best short films he'd ever seen. What's truly amazing is how the rest of the movie unpacks those scenes of loss, life purpose, and moving on. Muntz failed that test. And that open wrecks EVERYONE.
Except now Roger Ebert and Gene Siskel are also both gone, too. 😭
I watch the 1st 7minutes of this video whenever I need a reminder that sometimes people do find real love. I love your love.
Oh my goodness this is the SWEETEST comment thank you so much I am so happy to know that you can see and feel our love through the screen, the two of us are truly grateful much love you boo 😘😘😘🥰🥰🥰
That genuine relationship moment between you two (around 5min in) was heartwarming 🥰
He was definitely putting himself in Carl's shoes. He couldn't imagine losing the love of his life & being alone like Carl. Loved y'alls truly heartfelt reaction to the Married Life sequence. I severely judge a person's humanity if they don't at least get a little choked up during that scene.
“And if I beat your ass I’ll be wrong right?” LMAOO😂
If you dont cry at up then there is something wrong 🤣 ive watched it so many times and it still gets me
I'm not usually for reaction channels, but this movie got ly curiosity waaay too much. The wholesome relationship between you two is just so welcoming and brings a smile to my face!
As so many other commenters mentioned, never worry about showing your emotions! Especially crying to the infamous beginning of this movie. Being emotionally devoid during that just make people question you instead of the other way around. Lmao
I love this movie, and I loved your commentary!
I cry every time i see that. I've unfortunately kinda lived it.
You teo are so sweet, I love you two. Remember cherish every moment you two have with each other.
Awww this movie makes me so sad every time 😭
Also you guys are so cute !
Thank you so much, you're so kind!!🥹❤ Yesssss this movie needs to come with a waterworks warning in the beginning!!😭
It doesn't matter how many times I watch those first 20 minutes I always get teary eyed. You guys have one of the best couple reactions I have seen. You are wonderful.
4:47 My Grandfather in the hospital
5:00 Grandpa’s funeral
5:06 My Grandmother returning home to an empty house alone.
Y’all are literally so sweet wtfffff, this is the sweetest reaction I’ve ever seen. You two are an inspiration to spread more love, joy, and kindness 🤍🤍🤍
We appreciate it!! Glad you enjoyed our reaction and yes we like to spread love, joy, kindness and positivity! ❤️❤️ This movie got us in our feels BIG TIME 😭😭
No shame on a cry from a man! That just confirm you as a human! You two guys looks great together! Best wishes blessings
Wow. You two are the cutest couple I've ever seen. Wish you the best and most happiness.
Everyone hurts at the first 15 min of the film, everyone with a heart. Don't trust anyone who feels nothing after a beginning like that.
I literally clicked on this vid to see your react to the first ten minutes of this film, and left with happy tears in my eyes. You guys are cute AF.
'Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.' - Ferris Bueller
I love this reaction. Based on how you two click together, i guess love does exist afterall.
We're so happy you loved the reaction! Yes we are very much in love, glad it shows! Love is out there! ❤️❤️
Crying over the opening scene to Up is like a rite of passage in life haha. And it never gets any easier to watch. 😆
You guys are so cute together
awww this smile made us comment! we appreciate you! 🥰
The way he was looking at you when Ellie died, you have his heart, fully❤ this movie makes me cry so much more now that i have a fiance
First 10 of this movie makes you realize what's important.
It sure does! Brilliantly executed!
Oh wow! I'm sure it gave you a whole different perspective watching the movie the second go round! You must have been IN SHOCK 😂 in a good way
Everyone ugly cries at the beginning of the movie...its so heartbreaking.
it is very heartbreaking! it caught us so off guard!
Will cry every. single. time. 😭😭😭😭
I know its been months but in the scene in the hospital there is scissors and tape on the table next to Ellie, she put all those pictures in the section "Stuff I am going to do" while she was dying as a final goodbye to the man she loved.
awww that's soo sweet!! 🥺🥺you are trying to get us to cry again! 😭😭
@@BAUScoupleReacts yeah the movie is a tear jerker the other hidden gems. The guy in the suit is Russel's dad that is why he was hanging out there trying to be noticed by him.
Just so you know everyone cries during this movie AKA that little part at the beginning the entire Frederickson marriage that makes everyone cry
such a precious couple! new subscriber immediately!!! 🫶🏽🫂❤️
awww thank you!!
u guys are the sweetest wishing u two the best in life
Awww thank you so much! That was so sweet of you! 🥰❤️
Y’all are so cute… this is the reason I like reactions to this movie. I get to watch people really think about their whole lives and what’s important in a few minutes
We appreciate it! 🥰 Yeah we need to watch reactions to this movie as well, especially from couples, we'll probably just end up crying watching all the different reactions 😭😭
5:20 you are not alone sir! I also cried after watching this scene! This is life! Getting old with your partner is the best feeling in the world!
Such an amazing movie and I was completely blindsided by this opening! They should have warned me! 😭😭 But yes such a wonderful feeling growing older and becoming better and better with your partner! 🥰🥰
I think you guys made me cry just as hard as that intro, you both have an amazing and precious love that I can feel through the screen, dang. And I just stopped to watch this reaction, damn
