- Welcome to a game that I am extremely eager to play known as Hogwarts Legacy. Now what this is exactly is an RPG set in the wizarding world of Harry Potter exept this is not part of the Harry Potter or the fantastic Beasts timeline. it is actully set in the 1800s and an entirely new story featuring new characters, new villains and new creatures. You will be able to create your own character in this game and build your own story. Only this time you'll be starting off as a 5th year student. This game is also made Portkey Games. You might also know them as the same people who made the Hogwarts Mystery mobile game which I also really enjoyed playing. I also pre ordered the deluxe edition on PS5, so I was able to play the game 72 hours early.

Hello everyone. My name is Cheshire. Also known as the Gothic Sorcerer and I am so excited to be once again be back in the wizarding world. I'm not sure how I feel about J.K Rowling, to be honest. Don't get me wrong. I love her work and I think she's an amazing writer but media from all over the internet revealed that she's actually transphobic. Which I do not like about her. Anyway, this game is made by Portkey Games which was also the same company that made the Hogwarts Mystery game on mobile devices. That game was super addicting. I created a character named Emily Flores. I was going to recreate her in this game but since it's based in the late 1800s, I will be creating a new character for this playthrough named Constance Lestrange.
I read the article about J.K. Rowings i agree she's a great writer. I don't like her as a person of the hateful things she said on media

Correct me if I'm wrong but is the name for your character based on Bellatrix Lestrange at least in part.

I love the way the female mc stands all polite in conversation with her hands folded in front of her. Its adorable! Can't wait until I get to play it on ps4 in 11 days or so ❤

You meet Sebastian Sollow in the common room when you get sorted into Slytherin. The other houses, you’ll meet him in the Defense against the Dark Arts class quest

It's crazy that this game is running on unreal engine 4, I wonder if at some point they'll do a reboot and convert to the new unreal engine 5 and also make the sequel on that same engine. The graphics and the game mechanix on this game are incredible
That was interesting that the goblin in gringotts didn't have the professor present his wand when he entered the bank... You can see the expression of genuine recognition which dismissed any type of formalities of procedure. Of course I could be overlooking the fact that he had his wand in hand... But it wasn't in any dialogue so that was kind of confusing. I'm just commenting this because that was part of a scene in Deathly Hallows... When Hermione Granger disguised herself as Bellatrix Lestrange and obtained her wand.
Interesting that you meet Sirius's, Voldemort's, and Arthur's ancestors all within the first hour of game play yet there is no mention of Dumbledore's or Harry's ancestors hopefully DLC will correct that.

I'm glad you like my videos and Constance but you are aware that most of my videos are without commentary gameplay. It's a little pointless to put a webcam without commentary too.

@@LarasWelt333 Still no. I mean I appreciate the thought but I like playing games with no commentary. Always have been and if I started doing commentary for one of the playthroughs, then people will start asking me to do that for all of my videos from now on. Plus I don't really want people to see my face or hear my voice. I'm just not ready for that.

Well, I've always been a console gamer than I am a PC gamer. So I'd reccomend consoles but it's up to you.

I'm playing this on console. So no mods involved and I don't reveal my character creations.

Okay. You're really have to stop with the comments because you justn posted like 7. 1 comment is fine but you need to leave room for people to write one too.
Unreal engine 4 was able to handle a few million "polygons" , whereas in unreal engine 5 is capable of handling up to 10 billion "polygons" ... There by the graphics will be much cleaner and much more realistic. That's why I'm hoping that they convert this game in to unreal engine 5 not to mention that would open a way for new and unimaginable game mechanics.

I'm not gonna get the platinum trophy. You only get those after you 100% the entire game and that will take forever. I will however do all the main mIssions and as many side missions as I can

really wanted to see your character creation information. I am really bad a CC.
I never show my character creation for a few reasons. Mainly because other TH-camrs steal my own creations and are acting like they're the ones that made it. Trust me, that has happened to me before.
@@GothicSorcerer That is weird and unfortunate. At the very least, I would use a different hair style and hair color. It's the face that always stumps me in these things.
@@saintboot8410 Well, if it helps, sometimes there are tutorials on TH-cam in character creation. I've seen people create celebrities, characters from outside the game or existing characters from the game itself and honestly, they're way better than character creation than I am.
@Saint Boot They're most likely using face 1 or 2. This game doesn't have sliders, so I dunno what she's so worried about, lots of players gonna look similar when there's 15 faces and 4 or something that are Caucasian looking.

Well, because I'm a small time TH-camr. So my channel isn't exactly well known and I got the game early because I preordered the deluxe edition on PS5 which gives you 72 hour early access. But I'm glad to know you enjoy the series so far.

Because the movie Sorting hat's actor passed away years ago.

@@alexcarlson663 Probably. That's pretty much the case with most modern movies, TV shows and video games. A lot of actors have similar sounding voices and sometimes they can't get the original actor to play the role because they're either dead or they're still alive and just not interested in that role anymore.

I was gonna do a dark wizard path for when I do a redux playthrough. But for now, I just wanna focus on finishing the hero path.

A Slytherin interesting and the magic within your character is quite strong first time playing takes time to learn the ropes.
The first question is on the top the second one what is her story and a third what kind of witch is she?

Okay. Just going to point out is that I'm a guy and to answer your first question, I gave her a scar because I wanted to give her more of a unique look and personally I think women with facial scars look badass. I don't have much story for her right now other than the fact she's Leta and Bellatrix's descendant. That's why I chose the name Constance Lestrange and lastly she's going to be a good witch. I did a poll a while ago before the game came out wether or not I should choose the hero path or the evil path. Most voted hero.

Was originally planning on black hair, but I went back to blonde. Black is so boring and bland with everyone else around me mostly black.
I like black hair. It's my seconfd favorite hair colour. I wish I had black hair in real life. But my hair is naturally blonde unfortunately.

@@JasonAstraea Not when it comes to my tattoos. Pretty much all of them are black and grey. I mean some colored tattooa are okay but I prefer black and grey.
I went with blue at first then moved on to green. It’s nice to have a hair color that sticks out from all students and professors at Hogwarts
