Viltrox is on fire with their lenses! Absolutely on fire 🔥 I find them to be some of the best lenses I have ever used. The new information panel is fantastic, love it to bits.
It is the ultimate real estate lens!! No distortion wide angle lens with an f1.8 aputure is insane for $500! I’m not a huge real estate fan, but for landscapes and closeups it’s stunning 🤘🏻
@@iz5442 yeah it's pretty sick lens. The no front ND filter is what I couldn't get used to, plus I found 14mm was was making everything look bit to spacious 😅 as mental as that sounds.
@@lukefoxwell if youre using it for real estate do you even need NDs? I dont think House Lightings justify a use for NDs, i instead need more Exposure tbh 😂 but of course not real estate related i have to agree the no NDs are pretty shit.
@@iz5442 Well, the Sony has focus breathing and you can't use filters on it, so for photographers, ok, for hybrids it can become a problem. It's also 3x as expensive. Whilst on this note, I actually enjoy longer lenses for real estate, 35mm, 50mm, makes things look a lot more elegant.
This seems like a really amazing lens! The LCD screen seems like such a handy feature to just give more flexibility when shooting. Looking forward to see what else you end up filming with this!
I'm always so excited to see what Viltrox sends me, and this lens really blew my mind Tony. It's got the same quality as the other lenses, but a few more bells and whistles. I'm very surprised they managed to pull off zero distortion and such a wide open aperture at this price range, incredible. Thanks!

Guys, i consider buying viltrox 16 mm or sigma 16-28 2.8 for Real estate photos. Its written everywhere that for interiors the best option is zoom Lens, but cant i use prime 16 mm and crop it ? Looking forward for your opinions
Well, for interiors I use a mixture of wide lenses and long lenses. Not everything has to be 16mm or wider, it can be 50mm or 85mm to add some elegance to the interior. Sure, you can crop in.

Sure, if you have crop mode then that's fine, I don't have a crop mode camera anymore so no way of checking what that looks like. For a trip anywhere, it really depends on what look you want to achieve. When I travel I like to go with one lens, so I'd either take this or a 35mm for city travel.

Dlatego od lat przeliczam z $, € na £ bo tu mieszkam. Pozdrawiam serdecznie z pochmurnego (dziś) UK .

More than likely going to pick one up. Sony's 50/ 1.2 is wild but I would love to see viltrox keep this up with maybe 16/1.4 or 24/1.2.

I had it on a MantisPod, but holding it by hand doesn't make much of a difference, it's just a couple of cms closer.
