Lets not talk about this peformance 😭 She had more rasp than actual pitch. She was way too tired and nervous. She sang the start of the aiwfciu yesterday AT HOME and that sounded like gold. I think she is way toooo nervous on stage, she sounds so good at home acapellas. Wish we could take the stage fear out of her. %100 sure she would belt E5s with no rasp and be very agile and fluid.
Let's be honest, she's probably just tired She's been recording this whole year. I can still hear the improvement. It's different from 2019, where she just couldn't do it at all and that's where the rasp/dodging came from I hope she would rest more so that 2-3 years of resting won't go to waste
She rested so much during covid, did it help? No. The real problem is that she needs a dangerous operation for her nodules to save her voice. Without that operation, her voice will get worse and worse. And she needs vocal therapy. So sick of the endless excuses. Rest won't help at this point.
It's her music, it's those lyrics that saves lives, especially mine. It may sound cliche, but it is only her music that speaks to me, during rough times. I still love her , and let's give her a break.

She needs rest That's her only problem. Once she's got her voice back she'll start belting and whistling like crazy , giving us "prime-like" vocals , forgetting about rest and nodules. Yep. It would pretty much result in her losing her whistle register and possibly her voice. As she has learned to sing around her nodules pretty much her full life. She’d have to learn how to sing again. And at the age of 52 that isn’t really an option.
The nodules are FAR too constricting/restrictive for her at this point, it sucks to say but it’s the total truth. No amount of rest will fix it. She needs surgery and vocal therapy, and training.

She will lose her whistle register, and it could affect her voice very negatively. She was even told not to remove them. Thus why she hasn’t.
