holy moly, that nebula noir finish is absolutely gorgeous
G&L has a version of that finish called Galaxy Black or something like that. It’s a great finish.
Agree
The fact that you managed to sell the same guitar for 70 years and still convince people that they are buying something different should be studied at the finest business schools 😊
@Socializedbyantisocials
Not even close to the advertisers of washing powders and toothpastes. 😉
Dunno as someone who finally broke down and bought a properly made one after 20 years of avoiding....it was totally worth it. I have played plenty of
bad stratocasters.....its the little shit that makes all the difference.
Yall just ignorant af
I agree and disagree with you. It's essentially the same guitar BUT it has differences throughout the years and through different models. I find that the minor details and variations make a difference. What is a lot more disturbing to me is when the claim that they have made something to "true vintage specs of that year/era" but clearly they haven't.
The stratocaster is still such a wonder guitar. It can do it all. 🎸🎵
can it tho?
@@aegistechreviews7410yes
No. It can't.
Japan gör bättre Fender gitarrer..
Depending on the set up, yes.
I absolutely love the Antigua Fenders, no matter what people say.
It just needs a humbucker
That Nebula Noir paint is amazing
yes , it is. ❤
The HSS Ultra would of been awesome with a black ebony finger board. Congrats on surviving 70 years.
My love for all things Les Paul Juniors and Stratocasters has been a timeless memory ever since I started playing Green Day on guitar 7 years ago. I just can't believe it's the Strat's 70th Anniversary this year!!! ROCK ON!!!!! 🎸🤘☠🔥
What can I say, I love the Strat and I love Fender. The creativity here is great
Loved that 54.
Timeless design!70 years old-but does not look old at all!
The Stratocaster IS just the Best ❤
I love Mine FOREVER ❤❤❤❤ Thank you so much Léo 💖💖💖
Hell yeah that 54' american vintage is simply amazing, the perfect stratocaster!
You should give one of the 54 in white to Mr Dave Simpson. He'll do justice to it.
Second that!
YEAHHHHH! long life to the Stratocaster!!!
Long live the Strat 🤘
@@fenderabsolutely fell in love with the start. I've played all types guitars of gibsons, epiphones Yamaha, ect. but when I tried a stratocaster, I knew there was no going back. To this day I cant picture myself with another guitar by my side
That Ultra HSS is absolutely gorgeous 🤩
Joshua Ray Gooch is, among other attributes, THE ultimate demo guitarist. He produces the the most beautiful riffs and tones I've ever heard in any demo, and I've checked MANY.
The antigua is superb! ❤ and I love hardtail strat ❤❤❤
Thank you Leo for your brilliance!
The only thing the Ultra is missing is stainless steel frets! I think a lot of people want that if they're gonna spend that much on a guitar, otherwise it's perfect! I know there's the Ultra Luxe models but they need more color options and an HSS option without the floyd rose.
The tribute to the first strat, while very basic...it's just beautiful and perfect
Imo, the 54 re-issue sounds the best. I heard it over on Mathew Scott. It souded amazing and same in this video...Man I need one 🎸🎵🎶
I LOVE a sparkle finish, and I LOVE pearloid pickguards, so I support the pairing.
My favorite feature of the vintage instruments is the pain in the rear truss rod adjustment position. It really gives it more tone.
Loving the finish on the first player Strat! 🤘
that antigua strat is really fun, I'd love to see a baritone version, like a throwback to the baritone jazzmaster
A decent shot of all of the Fender gear used is much appreciated.
These 5 and 10-year anniversaries come and go... I prefer my 61st anniversary of my '61 AVII (2022). and the 59th anniversary of my '59 R9 Les Paul (2018) 🤓
Love that 1954 strat all the way maple neck🎶🎉👌🎸
The best guitar ever made. Love my CV Squier Strat
the 54 is a dream
Beautiful guitars, I really like the big headstock one🤘
Tried the Nebula Noir in a store three days ago and it went back home with me.
I hadn't looked into this guitar before I went in, but I was wandering around the store and it caught my eye, and after trying it out I fell in love.
The pickups are screaming "I'm a stratocaster, I deliver what you're looking for in a strat", the satin-tinted neck is absolutely brilliant. The little details reminding us that this is a 70-year limited edition add to the charm, and that nebula noir finish is the icing on the cake.
I don't regret any single euro I spent on this guitar, and I've tested the other anniversary models at €2000+. If someone had told me that this Nebula Noir Strat was the €2000 model, I'd have believed them without a problem.
A lot of guitar for the money
Dounds massive and Lush full of depth ! its been really well recorded produced and mastered 😸
The inexpensive Player has the best sounding stock pick ups of the first three 70th Ann models.
@12:04 Is that a "Real song" or is dude just jammin"? Because I really dig it, thx.
These look fabulous and sound great
I remember the 25th anniversary. 70th? Time has flown, huh?
Yeah I'm the guy born in '79 which marked 25th anniversary strats, looking 70th anniversary strats at age 45 😂
And I'm expecting 100 yrs old anniversary models 😂😂😂
@@user-ik7ul9ov3lI can only hope to see that. I'm sure there will be Century Strats, but I'll be 91 if I can make it that far.
Long live Fender!
Beautiful!
the strat is the best.from clean to dirt.the all around sound ✌️🤘
Just got my pro II today, now I can’t sleep. It’s 1:30 AM and I’m still up playing this damn thing. It might be a rough next few days for sleeping. Damn, I love Fenders.
what’s that song/intro that joshua played?
Love, Love, LOVE that finish! Wish I could get that with an HSS design, and a matching headstock!! Possibly an Ebony FB? You simply couldn't take my money fast enough!
I deeply crave that '54. I hope you make enough of them for me to place an order
wow, one guitar more beautiful than the other!!
the case candy and overall value for the 54
is amayyzing
the pick-up tone is very strong
very good midrange here and also the demo
on another TH-cam channel the Matthew Scott
guitar man .
but it might be the modern amplification and effects, pedals Etc
Watching this with my telecaster in hand :)
ANTIGUAAAA❤
멋진사운드 귀가 즐겁습니다^^
I wish there were more models with a Floyd Rose. I guess that's what Charvel is for.
I have an original 1979 25th anniversary Strat the first anniversary one they ever did when CBS still owned the company.
Was concocting the Nebula Noir in my head today and there it is! Beat me to it. Bye bye money.
Good to see snot burst getting some love
the comet ☄️ burst
has beautiful 😍 tortoise pickguard
nice rosewood 🌹 neck
This nebula and amethyst finish but with a Floyd Rose will make me buy another Fender after years of not owning one :)
that shit was sick. I love the last one! makes me wanna buy one
Kinda cool these strats get some funky coolers
Gorgeous
Greatest Guitar, i love it.
really got to get my playing up there, I want to really get good
You got this.
Ten years ago i wouldn‘t look at anything with antigua burst..but but but, now i‘m tempted to get one😂
That antigua tingles my jingles
I literally dreamed about the amethyst Ultra last night. Guess I’m buying one…🤷🏼♂️
It’s Amazing speck good sounds
Are the necks on those 54s quarter sawn
I was 12 when the strat came out just learning to play never bought one until now always loved the look and sound ❤ love “pickin’ and grinning” I am pretty good at the grinning
Hell yeah! Love to hear this ❤🔥🤘
It would be nice to hear some of the clean sounds. Not all of us rely on distortion to get ourselves across.
These all look and sound awesome!
The AM Pro II is the one that caught my eye. The Player us more my price range, and it is pretty snazzy.
Every model is snazzy, especially that Metallic Amethyst on the Ultra.
Sounds like a Squier.
I really like the new amethyst finish
They're too beautiful to pass by. Dang
Awesome
Your best guitar by far
🔥🎸
Since I'm a fan of '70s (especially late '70s) style strats, happy to see 70s style strat added on this awesome anniversary models list. That '70s Anniversary' logo on triangle neck plate and serial number that starts with 'S' printed on the head stock really makes me wanna buy it😂 But I'm not a fan of Antigua finish or rosewood board or hardtail bridge so... this gonna need some time to consider. I'd rather buy AV2 54 strat instead.
what is this crunchy distortion pedal on these single coils?
Wow nice Player Series, that amp is that a Fender 68 Deluxe Ampilifer? 0:08
Could well be, that blue power lamp points that way for sure.
This player is dialing in some great tones.
That HSS sounds damn heavy 😮
i have to get the Antigua .
big huge PLUS
that
iT has Hardtail bridge, tøø .
plz bring back the Coronado
I'm a Tele guy, but that Player Anniv model sure looks/sounds cool. I hope that the pricing is reasonable.
Unfortunately, my wallet is a little (alot) short .
I DO Love the hard tail and the big headstock ,but the Black with the black pickups is my fave scheme . all of them look great . I would also love the chunky neck of the 54 ,if I had a choice ...
I'm taking one of them to learn
Lol
I want one
I will allways be a strat player, even with my affintysquire it’s a fab guitar
Does anybody know what kind of delay pedal he used in the intro in the first seconds? Sounds so good!
sounds like a tube screamer
Sounds like a carbon copy. This is the delay, Keith Richards used ond "Some Girls"
I have one on the way, the 1954.
I get the feeling Joshua Ray Gooch might be a Steven Wilson/Porcupine Tree fan - I get some proper SW vibes from some of his playing.
I heard it too. There are proper Deadwing chords all over this demo
The Antiqua is such a striking finish. Sure to sell like hot cakes!
i want the Amethyst Ultra HSS
finish with REVERSE
70s headstock rosewood 🌹 fretboard Neck Jumbo Frets
and 6 point bridge .
Hi folks !! Can someone explain - for what purpose the springs on the scale adjustment screws are needed ?
string height preference. Some like high action for playing slide.
@@Gene_Cali
They are not connected in any way and do not adjust the height of the strings.
What is scale adjustment? Intonation?@@iridios6127
The antigua would look sick with a plain white or tortoise shell pickguard
Cool 😎 👍
i like the noir nebula finish -
i don't like the 2 point bridges tho' .
the pickups are very good on thAt nebula .
That 2 colour sunburst is not right? It's a 3 colour sunburst, as I can still see some red between the black and the yellow. That would really bug me, as I love the proper 2 colour sunburst! I want that HSS Strat.
Nice gitar ever ...
Kinda wish you guys added the super strat with weird pick ups of the 80s and 90s
And the weird bridges as well.
Is the guitar player Michael Lemmo from Norman’s Rare Guitars? He’s wearing the same rings and bracelet on his left arm that Lemmo wears.
Did you make any left handed?
Hmm - quite like that Player strat
