I am over 50 and have a lot of money... But this company treats me like crap it's very likely that they are going bankrupt do not expect them to continue to exist
Tried the Nebula Noir in a store three days ago and it went back home with me. I hadn't looked into this guitar before I went in, but I was wandering around the store and it caught my eye, and after trying it out I fell in love. The pickups are screaming "I'm a stratocaster, I deliver what you're looking for in a strat", the satin-tinted neck is absolutely brilliant. The little details reminding us that this is a 70-year limited edition add to the charm, and that nebula noir finish is the icing on the cake. I don't regret any single euro I spent on this guitar, and I've tested the other anniversary models at €2000+. If someone had told me that this Nebula Noir Strat was the €2000 model, I'd have believed them without a problem. A lot of guitar for the money
Joshua Ray Gooch is, among other attributes, THE ultimate demo guitarist. He produces the the most beautiful riffs and tones I've ever heard in any demo, and I've checked MANY.
My love for all things Les Paul Juniors and Stratocasters has been a timeless memory ever since I started playing Green Day on guitar 7 years ago. I just can't believe it's the Strat's 70th Anniversary this year!!! ROCK ON!!!!! 🎸🤘☠🔥
I have a 2011 American Standard in Olympic white with a maple fretboard which I bought that year.Recently bought a new American Professional II in Sunburst with a maple fretboard. The build and play quality of both are outstanding. Love my USA made Strats.
The fact that you managed to sell the same guitar for 70 years and still convince people that they are buying something different should be studied at the finest business schools 😊
Dunno as someone who finally broke down and bought a properly made one after 20 years of avoiding....it was totally worth it. I have played plenty of bad stratocasters.....its the little shit that makes all the difference.
I agree and disagree with you. It's essentially the same guitar BUT it has differences throughout the years and through different models. I find that the minor details and variations make a difference. What is a lot more disturbing to me is when the claim that they have made something to "true vintage specs of that year/era" but clearly they haven't.
The Fender Stratocaster is a 20th century icon òf culture and is American to the core. So many artists 'rode' the fender Stratocaster into the history books and rock n roll fame. So the Stratocaster has earned the right to claim greatness and a much deserved 70th Anniversary. Try one because so many cant be wrong.
Just got my pro II today, now I can’t sleep. It’s 1:30 AM and I’m still up playing this damn thing. It might be a rough next few days for sleeping. Damn, I love Fenders.
@@fenderabsolutely fell in love with the start. I've played all types guitars of gibsons, epiphones Yamaha, ect. but when I tried a stratocaster, I knew there was no going back. To this day I cant picture myself with another guitar by my side
Yeah I'm the guy born in '79 which marked 25th anniversary strats, looking 70th anniversary strats at age 45 😂 And I'm expecting 100 yrs old anniversary models 😂😂😂
I am 55 and have wanted to learn all my life. I never took the time to learn as I was to busy supporting my family as I did. Back in 2013 I had a work accident and after 4 surgeries it has left me on permanent disability. Now i really want to learn to try and keep my head healthy but can not afford to learn. I went from making really good money to @1050.00 Canadian per month. My issue other then the money is I am a lefty and used or new left handed electric guitars are not so easy to come by and when they are available they are either basket cases or really expensive. I always had dreams of playing a Squier Classic Vibe '60s Stratocaster Left-Handed or a Fender Player Stratocaster Electric Guitar Left-Handed. I had a chance on buying a Left handed Squier Classic Vibe '60s Stratocaster in 3 color sunburst but just before I was going to buy it someone else offered him $50.00 Canadian more so he sold it to the other guy. I was so let down and kind of angry at the seller. there is a used Fender Player Stratocaster Electric Guitar Left-Handed Maple Fingerboard Polar White (Mexico) but it is is way out of my price range. From what I am told that it is a good price but not affordable for me. The lesson of my story is never forget about your dreams and never let them go. That was my huge mistake years ago.
I hope you find a strat that you enjoy playing and learning on. If money is tight I wouldn't discount choosing any of the squire range, they're all good instruments now.
These 5 and 10-year anniversaries come and go... I prefer my 61st anniversary of my '61 AVII (2022). and the 59th anniversary of my '59 R9 Les Paul (2018) 🤓
The only thing the Ultra is missing is stainless steel frets! I think a lot of people want that if they're gonna spend that much on a guitar, otherwise it's perfect! I know there's the Ultra Luxe models but they need more color options and an HSS option without the floyd rose.
the case candy and overall value for the 54 is amayyzing the pick-up tone is very strong very good midrange here and also the demo on another TH-cam channel the Matthew Scott guitar man . but it might be the modern amplification and effects, pedals Etc
Love, Love, LOVE that finish! Wish I could get that with an HSS design, and a matching headstock!! Possibly an Ebony FB? You simply couldn't take my money fast enough!
I was 12 when the strat came out just learning to play never bought one until now always loved the look and sound ❤ love “pickin’ and grinning” I am pretty good at the grinning
Since I'm a fan of '70s (especially late '70s) style strats, happy to see 70s style strat added on this awesome anniversary models list. That '70s Anniversary' logo on triangle neck plate and serial number that starts with 'S' printed on the head stock really makes me wanna buy it😂 But I'm not a fan of Antigua finish or rosewood board or hardtail bridge so... this gonna need some time to consider. I'd rather buy AV2 54 strat instead.
These all look and sound awesome! The AM Pro II is the one that caught my eye. The Player us more my price range, and it is pretty snazzy. Every model is snazzy, especially that Metallic Amethyst on the Ultra.
Unfortunately, my wallet is a little (alot) short . I DO Love the hard tail and the big headstock ,but the Black with the black pickups is my fave scheme . all of them look great . I would also love the chunky neck of the 54 ,if I had a choice ...
I just got the guitar in fortnite I love it. Thanks for collabing with them. I love to play and to have this in game is awesome! Looking forward to possible future collab. Thanks fender 👍
So rosewood boards weren't used on Strats until 1957. Why would they be options for an anniversary issue when they weren't available originally in 1954?
That 2 colour sunburst is not right? It's a 3 colour sunburst, as I can still see some red between the black and the yellow. That would really bug me, as I love the proper 2 colour sunburst! I want that HSS Strat.
holy moly, that nebula noir finish is absolutely gorgeous
G&L has a version of that finish called Galaxy Black or something like that. It’s a great finish.
Agree

Hell yeah that 54' american vintage is simply amazing, the perfect stratocaster!
What can I say, I love the Strat and I love Fender. The creativity here is great

Actually people buy it because it IS the same guitar. They want new guitars, not new designs. Same thing with Les Paul's.
A decent shot of all of the Fender gear used is much appreciated.
The HSS Ultra would of been awesome with a black ebony finger board. Congrats on surviving 70 years.

You should give one of the 54 in white to Mr Dave Simpson. He'll do justice to it.
Second that!
Dave is deserving. Love Red Giant too

My favorite feature of the vintage instruments is the pain in the rear truss rod adjustment position. It really gives it more tone.
