Happy belated birthday mate! 🎂 Been behind on my fav TH-cam channels but it looks like you've been having a great time. What I would do to be getting bogged in perfect sand with my buddies with the sun shining and beautiful views all around. Enjoy guys!!
Andrew! You are too kind! We enjoyed a drink on you last night. Thank you so much. Next episode is going to be so nice.. lots of wildlife! Cheers Harry
So much influence on your videos made me buy a Land Rover it’s 110 1990 needs some care and will be ready for 2 years adventure . the cake looks delicious bTw 😅.
I want to build the cabinet/ kitchen same as yours so any blue print / dimensions will be helpful if you don’t mind , I watch the video you guys modifying it in the garage and I am trying to figure out the dimensions but it’s bit hard 🙂.
@@TheLandyExpedition, thanks for your reply. However, the access road is on private land BUT that beach (no beach in SA) is privately owned. ALL beaches (sand dunes) in SA are owned and governed by the state. Sand dunes are the breeding grounds for a lot of bird species. The rules are exactly to prevent people from "playing" with their 4x4 on the dunes like you are doing. Enjoy SA but stick to the rules all SAs are governed by.
@@heinrichwilliams9252 there are some areas in the cape where you are allowed in the dunes. Not all sand dunes are on the beach also. For example Atlantis Dunes. Same with these dunes.
@@TheLandyExpedition I had the same on my Td5 but found it droned a lot when driving and changing gears... do you have the same problem? Otherwise I am looking forward to your adventure! Good luck
Tyre pressures is what keeps a vehicle afloat or sunk in sand. You probably should have let tyres gradually right down to 7psi if you were struggling. Good experience though. 👍🏻🙏🦘
You’d go as low as 7psi! Wow that’s low. Honestly it was probably just down to never having driven on sand dunes before so getting used to keeping momentum and good gear changes it was a great experience 😀
Another awesome adventure
Thanks for sharing. All the best
Cheers Bruce! Hope your trip is going well?

Penblwydd Hapus!
Lekker thank you!
Nice video, but are you aware that in South Arica, you are not allowed on the sand dunes with motorised vehicles?
Hi Heinrich, we were on privately owned land as stated in the video. Glad you liked the video though 😀💪🏼

What exhaust setup you running on the Td5?
And the saying is
"Maagies vol oogies toe"
"Stomachs full eyes closed"
Haha thank for that!
It’s a straight exhaust with a back box. Just Landrover not stainless unfortunately…

Magie vol, ogies toe...
That’s right haha 🙌
Sometimes we just want the natural sounds and details over music that ruins the entire video.
Noted thanks kiran!
