I can't believe you're talking about radical acceptance. With what I'm going through right now, this feels very personal. This is so relevant to me right now. I grew up very poor and through a lot of trauma, so much that I'm my 20s and 30s I had to put in a crazy amount of work through therapy and self realization to overcome anxiety, panic attacks, depression, etc. I'm finally, at age 39, in such a wonderful place in life. I have 4 kids, a wonderful husband, we own a home and make good money. We have college degrees. These are things I never imagined I would or could have. Recently my husband's mom was diagnosed with ALS and she is our only extended family. This shook our family and has been nothing short of horrific. The other day my husband was notified (and no we did not want to know this information) that it is the genetic type of ALS. I have been reeling and emotionally unstable ever since. I don't know now if my husband will have this disease. There is a 50% chance he interested the gene. He has been having strange symptoms for 3 years now with twitching muscles, on top of this all. To make things worse there's a chance our children have the gene as well. I thought long and hard about this. I'm not a religious person. Something has been telling me that this is my journey in radical acceptance and letting go of things I can't control. When I think about it, this is the most intense struggle, emotionally, that I've experienced, wondering if my husband or children will meet this fate. But I'm here for some reason, experiencing this pain and I think I will learn to accept that I can't control or change the outcome, I can only love my family and take care of them and live each day to the absolute fullest because tomorrow is not promised for ANY of us. And to look at it in the most positive light I can. My mother in law won't be here very soon. But we have her now, still. Some people don't make it to their 50s. Life is a gift. Nothing is promised. I have to learn to take every experience one day at a time and think positive. Some people lose their mothers when they are young, or never get one at all. I pray for my family and try not to give this thing the power to steal my joy in the present. Because i want to enjoy my family every single day that I can.
Girl.....as long as ur trying to learn the language and respect the culture people are always gonna appreciate it and help you if u need help.. mexico is beautiful and I'm glad ur enjoying it
I REALLY really feel your vibe- I believe you are a bit younger than me and I just started watching you (the Cali white girl speaking Spanish appeals to me 😂) I want to seriously reconsider getting dual citizenship. I’m half white half Mexican and I travel to Mexico every year to visit family, but I am from the Bay Area and I cant completely leave California since I have two kids. You’re an enormous inspiration in a lot of ways. I work in the medical field as nutrition health educator studying (in grad school) to be a licensed therapist - anywhoo; I just feel like we have a lot in common, chica! Love your content ❤🇲🇽
I’ve been following you for a while and I’ve always liked your creativity❤you’ve always looked beautiful 🫶🏼most important thing is that you feel good and happy in your body and in your mind 🙏🏻looking forward for the next video
Yessss girl mex blogs please! I might move there in the future. Also, would u consider doing a SD meet up ?!?? And I’ve never heard the buenas thing. But I haven’t gone to Baja in awhile. I’ve been going to visit family in Veracruz and they say other stuff. Assuming all mex states have diff sayings like here in the US 😊

Girl!! I am so glad you are back. I absolutely adore you. You made me bust out loud with laughter a few times during this one. You are so naturally kind and funny. What was the eyeliner you used? It is a nice strong color, and looks amazeballs on your lashline. Sending love and hugs your way. Until next time - hasta luego. ❤
Please do like weekly day of your life in Mexico! We miss you so much bestie, also we all appreciate you talking to us on Ig. I’ve always felt like I saw you an older sister. WE LOVE YOU!!
This is such a red flag. This woman is so obsessed with weight loss, appearance and esthetics I fear she is just one more victim of the Kardashian Cult. To the young women out there, stay healthy, eat properly and you will be thankful later on in life. You'll age gracefully by not putting your body through hell.
