Akainu is definitely among the absolute strongest in my eyes. I have had him over Big Mom since her introduction and had him switchable with Kaido before the end of Wano, I definitely have him over Kaido after Wano as I have seen the truth now, if anything can kill a Yonko, its magma. 3/3 Yonko that have as of now for all intents and purposes died due to magma related injuries. I have had him over Mihawk since Marineford, I think I only have 3-4 characters above him in my top 10. Recently I have had to conclude that Imu may be top 1 material just due to hax but until we know more I am keeping Shanks top 1, Imu #2, Garling#3, Akainu or Dragon #4, Akainu or Dragon #5. Based on portrayal there is obviously some past rivalry between Dragon and Akainu and I think it's entirely reasonable that either of them could slightly edge the other out and without more info it's really hard to say which of them is truly stronger. Reasonable to say anyone in the top 5 can at the very least give the others a decent run for their money.

I've been saying this man. If ANY of the admirals were going to awaken their fruit, it is ABSOLUTELY akainu. He matches his fruit so well. I respect your opinion, but heaviky disagree. One thing, is that whitebeard was NOT EVEN CLOSE to full strength. We can agree that akainu would probablu mid-diff whitebeard in marineford in a prolonged 1v1, however whitebeard was already heavily damaged in the battle, and more importantly cant use conqeruers haki due to his sickness and old age. Althought like you said, whitebeard was going all out after akainu killer ace, this isnt his full power as he is nowhere near his prime, and it is heavily implied that had whitebeard been in his prime, marineford wouldve gone very differently

Great video, but there are a few things that’s off about this topic. Garp, Whitebeard, and Rayleigh, have all stated that they lost a great deal of power due to old age. Akainu dealt with a sick Whitebeard who can only use his devil fruit and basic armament haki. We seen the way Garp preform on Hachinosu island and dominated aokji despite his old age. If whitebeard was healthy with no illnesses and could use conquer haki coating along with his devil fruit, the war would have turned out very differently. There’s no way akainu was fighting whitebeard at his prime strength, granted akainu did very well against whitebeard and dominated him at different moments of their battle. Whitebeard has a supreme blade, not a black blade. It was still a good feat for akainu to be able to stop whitebeard blade with one foot and the blade was enhanced with the quake fruit power as well. We know for sure akainu has Basic observation, and advanced armament haki. Future sight and conquers haki is not confirmed yet. Akainu literally tank Marco and Vista attacked, no future sight used at all. Too be honest akainu could eventually become a conquers haki user towards the end of the story. Akainu is not over the Yonko, not all of them. If akainu had conquers haki coating on top of being able to use his devil fruit awakening, then I believe he could take out an old sick whitebeard and big mom but at Extreme diff. Akainu is not beating shanks or kaido. Too be honest I could see akainu beating the current luffy on egg head island with gear 5. Oda's statement that akainu would find the one piece in a year doesnt mean much due to the lack of specifics How would he translate the poneglyphs? Did start the journey at the same current age. Did he do everything completely alone? Did he have access to all the knowledge and abilities he had in the marines when he starts the journey? You could say something like, Luffy found the one piece in 3 years, but when you get to the specifics of HOW he did it (by following the story) you can see he got plenty of help doing so. Including fighting the yonko.

I respect your opinion, but heaviky disagree. One thing, is that whitebeard was NOT EVEN CLOSE to full strength. We can agree that akainu would probablu mid-diff whitebeard in marineford in a prolonged 1v1, however whitebeard was already heavily damaged in the battle, and more importantly cant use conqeruers haki due to his sickness and old age. Althought like you said, whitebeard was going all out after akainu killer ace, this isnt his full power as he is nowhere near his prime, and it is heavily implied that had whitebeard been in his prime, marineford wouldve gone very differently

Great video, but there are a few things that’s off about this topic. Garp, Whitebeard, and Rayleigh, have all stated that they lost a great deal of power due to old age. Akainu dealt with a sick Whitebeard who can only use his devil fruit and basic armament haki. We seen the way Garp preform on Hachinosu island and dominated aokji despite his old age. If whitebeard was healthy with no illnesses and could use conquer haki coating along with his devil fruit, the war would have turned out very differently. There’s no way akainu was fighting whitebeard at his prime strength, granted akainu did very well against whitebeard and dominated him at different moments of their battle. Whitebeard has a supreme blade, not a black blade. It was still a good feat for akainu to be able to stop whitebeard blade with one foot and the blade was enhanced with the quake fruit power as well. We know for sure akainu has Basic observation, and advanced armament haki. Future sight and conquers haki is not confirmed yet. Akainu literally tank Marco and Vista attacked, no future sight used at all. Too be honest akainu could eventually become a conquers haki user towards the end of the story. Akainu is not over the Yonko, not all of them. If akainu had conquers haki coating on top of being able to use his devil fruit awakening, then I believe he could take out an old sick whitebeard and big mom but at Extreme diff. Akainu is not beating shanks or kaido. Too be honest I could see akainu beating the current luffy on egg head island with gear 5. Once luffy tires out, it’s lights out for him, akainu going for the kill. Great video overall , i don’t think the current akainu is over prime roger, prime whitebeard, or prime Garp. The old generation was just built different.

You could say something like, Luffy found the one piece in 3 years, but when you get to the specifics of HOW he did it (by following the story) you can see he got plenty of help doing so. Including fighting the yonko.

Don't get me wrong I know akainu is the top tier on par with the strongest in history. I just don't like the using the whole "complete the story in one year thing" for scaling. cause a lot of characters have the capacity to do the same, but are either stopped by their own personal hangups or the plot.
The Statement just feels like stuff to build up hype without much thought behind it, kinda like when he said "only 5 devil fruits Grant flight."
