Finally a new video ! As I mentioned on the community page and on social media, I was invited to participate in the biggest travel networking event in the USA, which is an honor for me 🤩. From there, I joined a tour with other journalists to discover more about my former US state, Texas 🤠, and then I met my sister, brother-in-law and 3-year-old niece for some family time 😍🥰. It was totally amazing, and I'm recharged, but I didn't get any time left to edit videos as I expected 😩. Hope this and the upcoming vlogs will make up for the lost time 😉. Love my hometown of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Loved your videos too. The sports stadiums you pointed out from the sky deck, are world famous too. From The Olympics, The Commonwealth games, the Australian Open Tennis (every January) and International Cricket, to Australian Rules football, Rugby, Soccer and don’t forget the Music concerts and shows, it is a major part of our town and culture. Always something going on ❤
I live in Brisbane and while I love living here, I think it will take another 20-30 years to get to where Melbourne is now - the population, development, attractions and amenities. Having said that, all cities in Australia offer something different - its just an amazing country!
I'm glad you like Melbourne. I wouldn't live anywhere else. [We've travelled and lived for a time in the US and UK the world. We live in the suburbs and love Melbourne Victoria and especially AUSTRALIA.

I hope you guys enjoyed your time in Melbourne my home town. It’s changed a lot over the last 20 or so years but is still a great place to live. I hope you got to travel to some of the inner suburbs like Fitzroy, Collingwood, Richmond, Footscray or yarraville - they are always fun to explore with plenty of places to eat and enjoy a coffee.

Did you also know that the arch across the bridge was used in the film Ghost Rider that stars Nicklaus Cage, it’s a great scene where he rides his bike on top of the bridge and falls in the Yarra. Great movie filmed in and around Melbourne.
Renata & Mr. Gordon: I really wants to "Thanks You Guys For Your's Remarkable Videos Released in 2023" to shows it to the publics to watch in great joy 2023❤❤❤I wish you guys the BEST & good LUCK always in peace for more new remarkable videos in 2023 across the globe❤❤❤
I grew up in Miami, and then I moved to Tallahassee for school and work. I'm American. My wife (who is from Australia originally), was a professor at FSU. She got offered a job at her alma mater in Melbourne. After a lot of debate and soul searching, we made the move Down Under with our family.
@RenataPereiraTV There are a lot of similarities between the U.S. and Australia, but there are some things that you don't think about as a tourist. For example, Melbourne's narrow streets and quaint laneways are great for walking, but they can be frustrating if you are navigating between cyclists, trams and pedestrians while driving to and from work. Also, winter in July takes some getting used to. So far, though, the good has outweighed the bad. The coffee culture in Melbourne is a welcome change, and there is great international cuisine, but unsurprisingly, I haven't found Cuban food. A good book I recommend about Australia is "In a Sunburned Country" by Bill Bryson. It's a little dated, but it's a good read.
A lot of Canadians came up to Ballarat to the goldfields in the 1850's and 60's. One of Ballarat's suburbs is called Canadian, it was one of the richest areas on the fields
Renata:Thanks you so much with your lovely husband (Mr. Gordon) to releases this remarkable video today’s from Melbourne, Australia in June of 2023 to shows these remarkable places in the city in great joy & peace 2023❤❤❤

Great set of videos of Melbourne, Renata (and Gordon). Your 'Eiffel tower" is actually part of Arts Center Melbourne, which groups three adjacent buildings: the National Gallery of Victoria, Hamer Hall and the State Theatre (your Eiffel Tower), The three builds represent the three basic geometries: a Cubes (block actually), a Cylinder and a Cone respectively. Legend has it that the State Theatre was originally planned as a solid cone but they were worried about how air would be funnelled around the buildings, so they made the cone a frame-structure.
Lol You did the Vegemite almost Perfectly! Little smear AND some Good thick layer aside! To reach True perfection tho...more butter melted in almost pools to 🤤

A wonderful, insightful, impressive video of my home city of Melbourne. Did you know that you can also walk along the Yarra* River on the north side as well? When the sunset beams onto the buildings with gold on them an optical illusion appears as if the gold is melting down the side of the building ,seen from across the Bay from the city from the western side. You can see this mainly in summer from The Strand in the suburbs of Newport and Williamstown. * Yarra is pronounced Y (as in yellow) a (as in apple) r (as in rabbit) a (u as in up). Australians often change a to u at the end of a word . That's our lazy speech. It also happens to er as well eg. butter to buttu, faster to fastu etc.
Renata:I wish you guys safe journeys always in great joy & peace in Melbourne, Australia June of 2023 for more new remarkable videos to come up soon in other Australian cities 2023❤❤❤
@@RenataPereiraTV You walked past so many Old Buildings that each have a history. Top end of Collins Street in particular. Botanical Gardens, (short walk over Swanston Street) also contain MYER MUSIC BOWL. This Facility is open air Venue well work seeing.

It is a very multicultural city. More languages are spoken in Melbourne than there are countries in the world, a cacophony of 251 tongues whose voices stretch to all corners of the city. Australia is a vibrant, multicultural country. We are home to the world's oldest continuous cultures, as well as Australians who identify with more than 270 ancestries. Since 1945, almost seven million people have migrated to Australia. This rich, cultural diversity is one of our greatest strengths.
@@RenataPereiraTV I've lived in Melbourne all my life, mostly, and the CBD used to be drab and boring so I haven't been there for a long time. Your amazing video has inspired me to experience the new Melbourne. Thank you!
Not to be confused there’s another Melbourne in Florida too And what Melbourne in Florida doesn’t have compare with Melbourne Australia does have is the race track
Renata:Are you guys planning to visits other remarkable Australian cities in June of 2023? I hope you guys are planning to visits Sydney,Adelaide,Tasmania,Canberra & Perth,Australia in June of 2023❤❤❤I am looking forwards to watch those future videos in June or July of 2023❤❤❤

@@RenataPereiraTV You can visit: beirut (capital city), tripoli, tyre, byblos, batroun, sidon, all these are coastal cities, must do baalbek in bekaa valley, and visit a town in the montains, could be Arz, Barouk… each place has its own hidden gems.
If you like Vegemite you'll also like Marmite, the original, made only in Burton-on-Trent, England. Also great in soups, stews and sauces, one can omit the salt then.
@@RenataPereiraTV Yes but spread very sparingly, something one grows up with from a baby, gumming a Marmite toast soldier to death, no half measures people either love it or hate it, actually part of the advertising slogan and on the jars. One of my Daughters would only have Marmite sandwiches in her packed lunch for school. They rarely ever got nicked by other pupils. One of those accidental discoveries of the late 19th century when the waste yeast scum from the top of the fermenting beer was kept for too long.
I'm Aussie and in 55 years I ate Vegemite once and never again, but Marmite I get withdrawal symptoms if I don't have it for breakfast everyday. The Marmite we have in Australia is made in New Zealand, I was devastated when the New Zealand earthquake took out the sanitarium Marmite factory a few years ago , 3 years with no Marmite 😢😢😢
The Prominade outside Crown Casino also has a row of Columns. These are Gas Cannons, that shoot very tall flames in the evening. Very hot if you stand under/near them. OPPS, IT WAS LAST ON THE VIDEO.
You are most welcome. We are doing little research about Poland to figure out when to schedule. what are the top 3 tourist spots and what are 3 hidden gems foreigners should discover?
@@RenataPereiraTV, Poland is a beautiful country. I can recommend you Sudety/Karkonosze (mountains) and Bieszczady. If you want to see city you must see: Wroclaw (it is near me), Warsaw - capital of Poland, Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot - near Baltic Sea

The gentleman is right. Canada is a country of immigrants. In fact, Toronto has been voted as THE most multicultural city in the world, with over 150 different nationalities. However, i know that, since the 1960's, like Canada, Australia has receiced millions of non-British immigrants. I guess that's just one more similarity between these northern and southern Commonwealth cousins. Melbourne looks very cool!
I lived in Melbourne in the early 70's and I loved it! Back then it was Australia's music capital with the best musos in Australia playing somewhere in town 7 nights a week. Now, thanks to Dan Andrews and his ultra-violent and thuggish police force, I will never set foot in the state ever again. As someone who intends to travel as long as I can in retirement, I'm perfectly fine with spending my money and my time in any state in the country except Victoria and any city except Melbourne. Screw 'em!
❤️ My favorite country is Australia in the world ❤️ ❤️ my dream country is Australia ❤️ 🤲🤲 if I own a lot of money, I will go to Australia one day, inshallah 🤲🤲

* Yarra is pronounced Y (as in yellow) a (as in apple) r (as in rabbit) a (u as in up). Australians often change a to u at the end of a word . That's our lazy speech. It also happens to er as well eg. butter to buttu, faster to fastu etc.
Thank you for sharing. I must return to get this golden view..so much more to see. 👍😀

Thank you for sharing. It is an amazing country and I know we will be back.
@@RenataPereiraTV I've lived in Melbourne all my life, mostly, and the CBD used to be drab and boring so I haven't been there for a long time. Your amazing video has inspired me to experience the new Melbourne. Thank you!
Fantastic. It is quite lively and enjoyable.
I love Melbourne
We do too! Thanks for sharing.
Not to be confused there’s another Melbourne in Florida too
And what Melbourne in Florida doesn’t have compare with Melbourne Australia does have is the race track

@@RenataPereiraTV Welcome
Hi Renata, I am Paolo Moutran from Lebanon, you really must visit here, it will be the ultimate vlog, trust me
Thank you for the suggestion. What would you suggest we film?
@@RenataPereiraTV
You can visit: beirut (capital city), tripoli, tyre, byblos, batroun, sidon, all these are coastal cities, must do baalbek in bekaa valley, and visit a town in the montains, could be Arz, Barouk… each place has its own hidden gems.
@@RenataPereiraTV and btw the food is astounding here👌🏻
I just looked at Baalbek...oh my beautiful. How would one safely travel the country?
Food, Gordon's specialty...he would love. Me too!
Vc em Melbourne com esse chapéu ficou um charme. Bem estilo
Australiano. Ainda bem que vc está protegida pelo Gordon Dande.(Crocodile) . kkkkkk
Ahhhhhh 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Adorei!!!!!
If you like Vegemite you'll also like Marmite, the original, made only in Burton-on-Trent, England. Also great in soups, stews and sauces, one can omit the salt then.
Do you eat Marmite on toast? A bit salty for our taste.
Thank you for sharing. I learned a new word...nicked
Well then we have to try Marmite. Big difference?
If you are hungry have a Chico roll or a Dim Sim.😊
Thank you for the suggestions. Will have to look for them
The Prominade outside Crown Casino also has a row of Columns. These are Gas Cannons, that shoot very tall flames in the evening. Very hot if you stand under/near them.
OPPS, IT WAS LAST ON THE VIDEO.
HAHA, glad you watched until the end AND paid attention. Thank you, you are one of few 😆😂👊
Got to get to Brisbane!
We did 😉, we shot 3 videos there: th-cam.com/video/3AVyPRja7C8/w-d-xo.html - Enjoy!

Thank you for the suggestions. A couple I would never have thought about. I will research them

Very similar countries indeed. Gordon says, only if Canada had Australia's weather...he might have stayed. Thanks for watching.
Screw 'em!
Que saudades dos vídeos em português.....😑😑😑😑
South Bank is not known as the Art District. You have to cross the river.
