The only extras you can get from Harley is heated grips, and the deluxe seat, which is a must. I’ve done long weekend trips in mine from Ireland to West coast of Scotland, and another trip to the Lake District. I have the forward controls and find them very comfortable. It has been a great bike to gain confidence and skills on. I really love it, but want a touring bike now, to go on longer trips across Europe.
@@petrol_burner agreed it’s a lovely bike, it will be good to see what HD do with it in future, perhaps offer more extras! Totally understand you wanting something more comfortable for your trip though - sounds epic, enjoy it!
Agree, those oversize tyres are functionaly and visually wrong (likely expensive), they spoil the HD goal of making a lighter more compact bike. A longer seat would be more practical. I like to see a few cutaways with the rider's POV showing instruments, switches, leaning into a corner etc. It gives me a feeling of riding the bike.
@@steveh7823 I do usually show both angles but my insta360 decided to stop working in 360 mode since that day! 🙈 cus yeah I agree with you it’s nice to see the POV for sure It’s a funny one with the tyres - to look at I LOVE them, but they spoiled the ride of the overall bike on this one I think sadly
I’ve had mine 2.5 years, and I need to change the front tyre every 3k miles, as it’s a slick by then. A set of tyres fitted is £800 😭 I’m on my third set.
This baby will be my next bike it can share the garage with the R1. Only thing is the stock exhaust. I’m seeing people don’t like the fat tire in the front. I personally loved the front tire. Meaty tires!
Very nice and honest review 👍🏻. Not a fan of the styling much prefer the classic look of the old sporters. I wonder how it compares price wise with other muscle bikes.
@@andyshaw5378they’re very different! 😆 it’s a shame they haven’t kept something similar to the older sportsters in their line up but either way I think this new version is cool in its own right 😊
Good one Courteny, probably a good cafebike, daytripper. If you can, test a new street glide i had one for five years, great touring bike. If i could, to day i would by a Kawasaki Versus 1000 or a slightly used Yamaha Fjr. Keep up the great work! 😊
Agreed as a cafe bike and day tripper! Interesting choices on the bikes, I’ve got a friend with a street glide and he loves it, I’ll have to make sure I hop on his or borrow one from HD sometime! 😅
Dont like the front head light at all,nor the rake on the falks, not the fat wheels ,also the number plate holder is discusting ,id take the Datona 660,,2024,at 200kgs
@@CraigMichael-z3v I’ve just had the Daytona 660 2024 on loan so that will be one of my next reviews actually! 😊👍🏻 For me, i love the look of the sportster s best but love the ride of the Daytona more than the sportster 👌🏼
@@CourtneyScarlettMoto yea I had five Harley's big blocks ,since major bowel opprations,I love the Datona, nice light cheap to run , suits my body cheers Courtney
Agreed, a rebrand. Loved the old ac'd Sporties, the most dangerous bike they ever made (inverted front end excepted - even a Suzuki retrofit).
Sport mode on that bike puts a smile on your face!
It certainly does! 😊

@@johnpettinger525 thank you and thanks for watching! ☺️
If they added 3 inches of suspension on that bike and changed the ergonomics a little bit, I think they’d have a winner
@@ejdtm completely agree with you. I’ll be excited to see future gens of this bike as with a couple changes I’d buy it
