I would say, though, that the "to" thing is sort of case by case the way casual English is spoken- in terms of where and how "to" lands in sentence. By the way, this is very useful content for learners of Mandarin as well.

However, the t (in AmE and in Cantonese) is not a glottal stop, but rather just an unreleased [t] (represented as [t̚]). Acoustically and articulatorily, the difference is definitely perceptible. The glottis is the most posterior place of articulation, and acoustically [ʔ] should be closer to [k] than [t]. So [ɪʔ] would be transcribed as "ik" by a monolingual English speaker. This is not to say that [t] can never become a [ʔ], however. The BrE pronunciation of "button" typically has [ʔ] in place of [t], but this has more to do with the fact that 1. BrE has [ən] rather than the AmE syllabic [n̩]; 2. [ʌ] is a back vowel 3. the [t] is intervocalic. At the end of the day, though, nothing I have said so far takes away from what you said in the video, the point being that his production of word-final t's is indeed on point.

其实要达到这个水平不算特别难，当然也跟天赋有关。我从小到大也都是在国内读书，但初二的时候学校已经不让我考听力了，因为听力材料是我录的。后来大学选了英语专业，又系统学了语音语调，大一之后跟老外聊天一般都会问我是不是ABC，最后外教有时候偷懒也会让我偶尔代两节课。除开之前说的天赋，其实就是多听，反复跟读和模仿，还有背单词。单论节奏，发音这类的细节，其实大部分人不是天赋不好，而是没想过这些音是怎么发出来的，或者一开始因为没掌握要领，说出来会跑调所以不敢继续说。
能不能分享一下怎么学的，可以看美剧学英语吗，模仿美剧里的发音

应该说他的流利程度，节奏性，单词以及音节发音轻重程度和连读性都很不错了，但缺少北美本地母语者的一种卷舌音的能力，虽然他也有些卷舌音，但还不够，要达到这种境界，必须小学或初中就开始在美国和加拿大读书，这种卷舌音的能力是真正区分北美本地母语者和非母语者的分水岭。
即使非母语者在美国大学留学所达到的英文运用程度超过普通中学水平的母语者，但卷舌音能力却始终很难达到母语者水平，形象地说就是英语母语者在很多单词末尾以及连读的时候或一句句子结尾的时候那种运用舌头辅助发音的能力，说起来容易做起来难，即便像港台毕业的英文非常流利的人士也很难达到那种水平。
马老师的节目太精彩了！能不能分析一下电影导演-陈凯歌的英语水平如何？谢谢！

我也是英语学习者，我也很希望能说得跟英语母语者一样6。但我有一个见解，其实哪怕流利度发音不能跟母语者一样，我觉得并不是什么太大的问题。语言本来就是沟通，交流思想，能明白其实也可以了。我母语是粤语，普通话我还没有马思瑞 的流利。证明了什么？发音没有母语者地道正式，中式英语，印度式英语，泰式英语，难道这些都是被标签贬义词吗？我不觉得，我认为这是一种特色。既然要学一门外语，我们当然需要把它学好，但是这个好，每个人都有自己心中的尺子。
老外讲普通话或者粤语时的那种口音，其实也是一种特色，我不认为有什么不好。

我觉得只要学英语多听多听多听，听不同的音色的人的原音，找到和自己音色相似的，好像比较容易模仿。不要老讲中文，慢慢听的多了就越来越好了。我小时候学英语，老师的英语也是中式的吧，虽然很多努力但是方法不对。能找到的英语语音资料也很有限，现在网络越来越发达，以后中国的小孩们会更好的。

自从来了美国后才发现很多口语都要重新学习，我在录视频时也会刻意的对比我和地道的表达差在什么地方。
我在美国当老师后就发现每次我没有给学生布置作业，好多美国学生就很开心的说Let's go! 好多男生会和我自来熟叫我Bro.我每次都要纠正这几个男生说：要叫我Ms. 哈哈
好了，这期我同时收获两个值得订阅的频道（虽然何同学的YT体量还很小）
这个应该是留过学的 或者至少参加过一些交换学习 国内很少有这种环境的 除非自学能力超强 research能力超强
体制内的老师是不可能把学生教成这样的。有时间的话看美剧吧，尤其上大学的时候（时间多），一天保持5-7小时，即使不看耳朵里也听着，有目的的听，难度循序渐进，从看中文字幕到看英文字幕再到只听。同时跟读，重复。没天赋的话两三年也能到超过绝大多数留学生的口语水平，甚至到母语者的水平。有天赋的话大半年即可。对增强语感帮助极大。不需要学发音原理，简单的模仿即可。亲身经历。
