All monetary success and lifestyle aside, Michael truly seems like he’s got life figured out and knows how to live a genuinely happy life.
Randominator I couldn’t disagree more. Based on what you’re saying, it’s impossible to achieve genuine happiness and be wealthy. That’s simply not true. Generosity can aid in happiness but to say that because some is wealthy they cannot be genuinely happy is inaccurate.
Randominator You’re right. We MASSIVELY disagree on what he’s really like. Yet, my statement was based on statements he’s made, his own actions, and stories about his humble beginnings. Your sentiment that he would be unhappy without these expensive items is based on little to no knowledge. “Without money he would be miserable”. Probably one of the most inaccurate things you’ve said. He spoke seeing nice/expensive items as a kid and used it as motivation to one day afford it. To me, you take away every cent Michael Blakey has, he will find a way to earn it all back with a smile on his face.
Randominator I by no means dispute that he always wanted it. We all have goals and all have aspirations and there’s absolutely no fault in that. I think we agree on that. What I think our dispute is the fact that presence of this lavish life is the thing keeping him from being “miserable”. Think I speak for most people when I say we all would take more money over less, but a simple look at millionaire suicide rates shows that luxury doesn’t mean genuine happiness.
Randominator See in my opinion, money cant enhance happiness. Happiness has to be established first, for any material or hobby to be enjoyed. This could just be me though. I collect and have a passion watches myself and put a GMT Master 2 on every morning. If it weren’t for my established calling in life, the material would reflect nothing of value to me.
Randominator Absolutely. But true hobbies don’t create happiness. They’re a branch of pre-existing happiness. One who is unhappy can spend all the money they want on lavish goods and feel empty.
I'm a working class guy. This stuff is so far removed from my everyday experience. I'd usually find it ostentatious, however Michael makes it palatable for the everyman. Adam adds a lot to the videos also.
He also kinda shows how ridiculous it all is.
My only complaint about this video is it isn't long enough. I can't believe 28 minutes flew by that quickly.

@@Robstrap Yeah sort of, but you're comparing clothing to a watch. Louis is a consumer product, a luxury watch is an investment. If you buy expensive consumer products, you're throwing your money away for a name on a product. Look at Beats by Dre. Costs like $14 to make, costs you $200 to buy. Not necessarily better than things 1/4 of the price, they wear out and they don't hold value. You've just thrown away $150 for a status symbol to look cool.

Michael is encouraging delusional goals when he says we can all achieve his level of wealth. My dad was born an orphan and saved money for years to pay for higher education. After thousands of hours of hard work over the course of 8 years he received a doctorate. He has put in more work than any human I have ever met in person and earns around 300k a year. 300k a year allows you to live a comfortable life but it is nowhere near enough to own any of the things Micheal owns. Wanting to live like him is not going to happen no matter what. Make reasonable goals for yourself. You can own nice cars like a corvette through hard work but dreaming about lambo's will only end in disappointment.
The very last thing I'd call #producermichael is humble... I'm not talking talking shit. Funny guy but lives "extremely" differently than most of us 💯💯💯💯

it really makes you realize how many crazy rich people there are that nobody really knows about. if not for these videos, the average person probably would never know who michael is. he also meets with lots of extremely rich people that none of us have ever heard of.
and famous hollywood actors are probably poor compared to these guys.

Eric i think you need to reevaluate your opinion. There are plenty of women that are beautiful in age. Your statement implies women are only good for giving birth and looking pretty. Women have worth beyond those things. Also, most men look like shit too once they get past 25. You say men look good and stay in the sexual market place into their late 50s depending on health. Not a lot of men can pull that off between extremely low quality of sperm and sexual dysfunctions like erectile dysfunction. Also women who look after themselves and have good health can also look good into their 50s. Society has a twisted look on women where one sign of aging devalues them yet wrinkly older men who are not very handsome get called handsome and people begin to believe it. Don’t forget: wealth is one of the main factors behind aging well so if you’re rich, you are likely to look well in age.
Thanks for that lesson on women guys. I am 50 and you’re partly right about the sexual distinction thing. Everything important works fine but the stamina goes. This makes being married to the same woman for years a real advantage. Give me 3 minutes with her and she’s happy. Good thing because after 5 minutes I must rest...lol. A 35-40 year old woman is more attractive because she exudes confidence. She knows what she wants out of life and what it takes to get it. If she exercises and stays fit she’ll pick up a guy of any age all day long. A 25 year old is just a kid. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder it seems. It’s sad that the Mrs... contestants think they’re a has been when life is just getting started. Now back to the watches....🎬

0:55 if you're going to highlight it then at least tell everybody what it is...it's a Patek Philippe 5980/1R (Rose Gold, with Chronograph and Date functions). It currently retails for $88,230 but, as Michael said, it goes for much more in the grey market. I know all too well because I just met with my dealer on that watch and a few others. He's on the case for me! I actually prefer the 5990 because it adds one very useful function on top of this one, a Travel Time function. The 5990 currently retails for $55,340 (cheaper than the 5990, even though it has an extra complication, because it is stainless steel).

I just love Michael and Adam! I would love to meet them one day!! Having said that, I'm a Timex guy, but still love watching them when they talk about luxury watches. Michael is a perfect example that you can be super rich and still remain a nice guy.

First time I accidentally saw one of your watch videos (the one where you bought 150k worth of watches for employees) I thought Liberace lives! Until you opened your mouth. You put a smile on my face by being a genuine one of a kind character. Never fault a man for being himself. I could never rock your outfits, afford the watches or the rest of the lifestyle and you know what, it doesn’t bother me one bit. You’re putting the humanity back in being a multi millionaire. All the money in the world and you still have to take a dump, visit the dentist or deal with the curveballs life throws at you. Thanks for giving us a glimpse at that world without breaking a sweat attaining that wealth.
