Great job! You make it look easy! Following an armed robbery at our home my Shih-Tzu doesn’t like being touched by strangers, so a trip to the groomers is very stressful for her. I’ve let her hair grow long, but I’m working up the courage to try my hand at grooming her myself. This was a great video, thanks
Have you tried CBD oil for dogs? It should help a bit
You could do the top of the head (not the sides) with the same clipper blade as the body. Saves a lot of time

I see this almost everyday where you know Pat grooming is the most beautiful thing that you guys have came out with I think that if it wasn't because of you all coming with this study I think we as parents of our dogs as well we'll probably go crazy in how to figure out to cut their hair but you guys have so much talent keep on doing what you doing and now they just that I have a shih tzo. Myself and she is a hand full but she's so adorable abedian loving caring she knows when you're sad she knows when you're happy she knows oh my God she just know so much and you know she's a a inside dog and she's been trained potty trained very well and she knows what she does good she gets a snack as well but anyways good luck you guys have a wonderful day and may God bless

It's just my favorite groomer...not pet groomer.
My favorite groomer is literally one of the worst groomers. Her methods are horrid. When you claim every dig you do is aggressive, it's a you problem not the dogs problem. I have done countless shih-tzus that behave more like this dog than any of her dogs. How she is still in business is completely beyond me.

I love this dog, so patient and you did such a beautiful cut. I would've cut the ears level with the chin personally, but I assume the client wanted them left longer. You're a wonderful, calm, gentle groomer and it's a pleasure to watch you work.

They make it look so easy, I have a 5yr old shitzu, my groomers are on lockdown so I ordered the kit from Amazon,
I've groomed mine for years. It's definitely a challenge, but it gets easier the more you do it. I still like to watch tutorials for her face because that is the hardest part to get just right. (Which is why I'm here lol)

Snap on combs would make that head trim so much faster for ya. 😁
Wondering how to get the combs to cut using a good razor. Razors cut well without, with comb on very difficult. Advice?
Get a good sharp #30 blade on your clipper and whichever snap on you want to use and work on clean, brushed and dry fur. It should cut nicely
