Excellent work John. Good call on the use of the matte base; the makes the metallic texture look that much more convincing. Also, layering and the panel tonality are the way to go. I gotta print one myself. Thanks for the video.
Thanks very much for sharing John, amazing work! I wish you could do a longer video (I guess too late now?) showing the final weathering with extra grime and dust and washes and burn marks. I know you are using the same techniques as in your previous models, but it would have been nice to watch you work on this one too. One question - what color/colors did you use for the sprayed grime pass, after the second masking fluid application? Looks like a dark grey, but could you give us more details? Many thanks again!
@@johnsimmonsscalemodelling5270 Where was it printed? Did you have it printed at a company that does 3d printing? I just dont know much about 3d printing
John, I feel like I use the word "Amazing" on all your videos...in the spirit of keeping things fresh: You need to improve your technique, sir. My 5 year old makes better images with wet crayons! Jk, this is amazing!! Thanks for sharing this technique!

What supports, if any, did you use to support the wings?
I’ve not used any actually:)
