Thank you! Really appreciate reading that! It is definitely getting to the point where it's enjoyable and hard to realise you are listening to AI generated content.
I tried it last night amazing I fed in a bioenergetic scan of a horse which had confidence issues what the podcast came back with based on the scan was so insightful I am going to make use of this tool for clients it will really help break down complex health problems they have into an enjoyable deeper understanding instead of a dry sheet to read from I cant wait to see where this goes to.
I fed it info I scrunged around from the internet about a murder case and it generated a very entertaining and informed discussion about it. I probably spent no more than ten minutes total gathering the info and waiting for the audio to generate and *VOILA* .... I created a mini true-crime podcast episode. This tech is going to shake up the podcast world once better customization and more features are added.
The making of video of your amazing Linkedin post. Love how ai makes a narrative of basically facts. Might be nice to feed it all my TH-cam and blog posts each month and make a podcast of it to send out to staff. I also see a lot of opportunities for student activities. Mostly humaine studies like literature or history. Discussions between antagonists in a novel, opponents in historic battles,... This should be fun!
I love this. Uploaded an unfinished short story of mine with additional notes and it generated a very entertaining podcast of about 7mins discussing it. Very cool, but honestly the AI missed a lot, did not stick to the details very well. Claude and Llama, have had no difficulty in that regard. Hope Google can improve this. If so I can definitely see people paying for this.
Amazing tool. It's a game changer for sure. Now everyone can create more meaningful listenable content. I'm pretty sure with other AI tools, you can even create videos using avatars
What tool are you using for the words being displayed and also the end product please? Can you add the video that you have mentioned below in a previous comment about how to do this please.
Great video and thanks for sharing! I am going to use this to create a podcast dialogue about one of our courses at pareto labs (high output management), but see what they say about Paul Graham's "founder mode" article about founder management. Maybe it will generate some insights.
That does not seem possible at this time. Google’s plans are to make these interactive, though, so you will be able to join the coversatikn and steer it.
@@FlippedClassroomTutorials . Much appreciated. Being able to join th conversation would be incredible. Also, I think they have to allow different voices. If everyone always hears the same podcast voices they will begin to tune out.
@KrishnaKumar-zn9kg I added that in post editing, using Camtasia, to make it easier for the viewers to follow along. I have videos on Camtasia as well, in case you'd like to have a look.
My notebook page does not have a "help me create" menu nor an audio generator that appears. All else looks same as yours. Is there a step I have missed in setting it up?
I am waiting for the day, when I will wake up in the morning and ask a robot to make a cup of tea for me, read important news, reminders and do all my work .. I will just do day dreaming.. 😅
NotebookLM announced their image reading capabilities have significantly improved since September 2024, and they continue to make improvements to this, so hopefully wont be too long.
Can you or anybody please tell me how to autogenerate podcast characters? where I can import the sound from the podcast and auto generate visual video, is it even possible?
The more documents you have uploaded the harder it is to frame the discussion for the Podcast creator because it will create its own story and often include unrelated information from other [unselected] documents. It's strange because unselected documents will not be used for answer generation in the text prompt but it will in the podcast. The "Customize" is only 500 characters and doesn't work that great. It would be better if you could generate a Podcast discussion from a saved Note.
I would be interested in feeding in some biblical text and listening to the responses. I tested it out on a research paper that I wrote and it inserted a lot of feedback that wasn’t in my document, sort of making my research paper sound ridiculous. But today they want to control the conversation, I hope that was just a sample that doesn’t reflect the end product of how this will work, because if it’s going to control and add to my work It’s of no use to me. IMHO
Your presentation was great, please follow us. We are UK resellers attempting to get additional interest from many parts. Whats your fave AI? Also… how do you alter the final google podcast…
@MediaCreators all systems will have some biases, and in this case, the tool and its output will only be as good as what you out in. The same can be said for teachers or anyone. We all have our own biases that we cary with us, and as with any tool, it's important to evaluate the results. The fact that you can guide the llm to use your own research and sources is a huge step forward in working with just those sources you have already evaluated prior to adding them to a notebook. Just my thoughts:-)
Can you link to the study? I can’t find any mention of it, and the you tube video you mention is a notebook LM podcast, so we don’t know what its sources were.
@@tonyciceronethe way notebooklm works is you upload your own documents. The output will only pull information from those sources. Sometimes they add information but they will mark it's not from the uploaded docs.
I saw this in action on a couple of TH-cam videos. I had been using Suno to bring messaging with a music/song style like a PSA. This a different approach to education and messaging in such an attractive format people are familiar as a podcast. I hope there there will be a few more voices so that there be even more uniqueness. I added a Dall-E image and some text introduction and final titles as a movie for TH-cam. th-cam.com/video/1IfzH0iyxKs/w-d-xo.html . I was impressed with the results..

You didn't mention how to create those EQ graphics, with that closed caption word generator? I didn't see that option on NotebookLM?
@justinbernal1 Those visuals are added in post with @Camtasia rather than as part of NotebookLM as I wanted it to be a bit easier to follow.

How do you export to post on social media?
Thanks for sharing a valuable tool. Your explanations are very clear.
You can download the audio file. After that you can share it anyway you want.
Great video. How did you get the video indicator circle on top of NotebookLM?
▼ Hey @GeneBellinger - I was thinking this was probably done in another app like CapCut, Headliner or something similar.

That does not seem supported at the moment, so you'd have to edit it manually.

Great insight- where can we do d thw English accent ones? I have used it, but i lose credibility because it doesn't pertain to regional accents.
thanks! But I would need two avatars talking to each other. Do a video about that.
Could I make a podcast on who’s the better boxer, Ali or Tyson? After uploading some articles

can we change language of audio?
At the moment only English is supported
Most documents have images inserted and I don't think notebookLM can deal with those? It needs to be plain text?

@sdl9258 only US English and these two hosts are supported. It was only just released :-) maybe in the future
