maybe someone can implement some sort of random chance/roll of the dice that your team doesn't cease fire when you yell out lol. so you have to keep spamming it, and any gunner that's spraying increases the chance that this happens haha

I remember looking for my birth certificate at my parents house a long time ago and I found my dads silver star. I didn't even know he had one. I still don't know what it was for but I thought it was really cool back then and still do 20 years later.

I feel like nobody is talking about how the character lowers his weapon when they cross over a teammate, never flagging each other. That’s something that like no games do. Idk of another game that does that. It’s really cool feature.
I know that MW2 Remastered has that feature, although you have to have your crosshair over a friendly for a couple seconds for the character to lower the weapon, but it was a cool detail I certainly appreciated the addition of compared to the original
There's is a fps called Ground Branch that incorporates low and high ready stances, but the game has been in development for about 5 years and the community can be toxic, other than that it's very fun when you can get a friend or more to hop on with ya.
It's cool how there's talking and callouts during the fighting, not just silence and explosions like in other games, it really brings the experience to a more real feel

Like damn the trailer's sneak peeks back then made me a little more aware than usual that wars are a lot more complicated and honestly a toll for everyone. No one wins, everyone truly loses. The folks I hear screaming this game being bigotry or calling for it to be deplatformed as something disrespectful to soldiers. Honestly, the early trailers from the initial development alone made me respect soldiers more and at least get a very tiny glimpse that war is just suffering for everyone. The way they integrate those interviews and such between sequences of the game shows they care enough about the message that war isn't like COD or Battlefield or whatever war themed game. It has real folks hurting and dying. War is hell for those who participate in it and should never be forgotten as such. That alone won't be enough though. They need a certain level of consequence to game overs so that players will be able to get some of the experience of walking through those doors and being on edge the whole time. Like giving you some kind of penalty everytime you die

My next door neighbor was in Fallujah in November of 2004 with the Marines, he has an album with a bunch of pictures in it from his time over there and he still has his bayonet.
I had the privilege of serving under SSGT Kyle in 2006. I have the honor of calling him a friend and mentor to this day, such a solid human being. What my senior Marines did will be remember for generations to come. Thank you brothers for being an example, mentors, friends and brothers!
I was in the Army (not in Fallujah) and it looks like these guys put A LOT of effort into the stuff that matters. How your player moves and handles a weapon, how the A.I follows commands, how the map changes. All of it, to me, is spot on. I'm excited to see the finished product, and to see you guys play it.

If they put seal team 3 in the game there would be so many iconic characters like Jocko, Chris Kyle, Jonny Kim, Leif Babin, Lacz, and many more including Lutrell who was there aswell... It would most likely be marines and soldiers for the gameplay though because they did most of the fighting but a Jocko reference would be dope.

It'll still come out. Modern Warfare 2019 got a ton of shit for some of the stuff it depicted in the release trailer, it still came out and became one of the biggest CoD games ever. This game is on console and pc. Currently being a marine but being to young to have served during this time I find it amazing that this is being made so Others as well as I have a chance to at least see what it was actually like.

So glad this game is finally coming! Been waiting since 2009! WAY better graphics now! It looks so real it feels like a survival horror game! Which is accurate because it must have been scary as fuck fighting there!

I can understand some of the resistance to this game being released back in ‘09. We were still in Iraq then and dudes were still dying. We’re in 2021 now. This battle happened 16 years ago. Hell Hollywood was making movies about Vietnam about that long after it was over (Full Metal Jacket, Platoon, etc.) This battle is history now. I don’t want to wait another 10 or 15 years before the stories of the Marines who fought in Fallujah get told through this medium. Better it get told now while their memories are still complete.

I came in a couple years after Fallujah. I fought in Baghdad during the surge and the spring fighting of 08, and spent time in Sadr City. I have never seen a game that captures the genuine fear and intensity of urban combat like what y'all just watched. Dude. This shit is nuts.
heard the word, "Temecula," and just uncontrollably shivered. i'm originially from the IE- redlands/yucaipa area- left more than a decade ago and never looked back.
So the old version of the game you referenced was in an alpha or beta state but it got the axe for being too controversial that no publisher wanted to pick it up and give these guys the support they deserved. I’m glad that they were finally able to see their project green-lit.

When I went through Warrior Leaders Course to become an NCO, one of my classmates had gotten shot in the back in Fallujah. The plates took most of the impact, but he still had some serious back issues. Heavy stuff.
Watching Jason's mannerisms at certain parts in this video, you can tell that... Even if the map displayed isn't EXACT? It still brought him back. What a fucking legend for sitting there, watching it, and being able to be so disciplined to give his unbiased opinion. Nothing but love for you guys. I can't imagine the lay-out you were remembering, the execution of the clearing. Jason, specifically? Thank you for reviewing something like this, when you were THERE. No easy task, but, you handled it with such bearing and control of ones self, that well, it's admirable. As for the game itself? With the changing scenery with every time you play? It'll keep you on high alert, the entire time. If you aren't vigilant when playing it? Chances are? You become a casualty. It's going to be a super GOOD game, a very REALISTIC game.

For the curious, what they mean with the SMAW by "firing those round beforehand to make sure you're on target" is that the SMAW has special tracer cartridges you can fire to see where the rocket should hit.
I was a super little kid when this happened so this feel surreal for me seeing this game and learning what happened, however out of respect for our brothers in America 🇺🇸 I’m gonna watch the play throughs and listen to the veterans of Fallujah stories, merry Christmas 🎄

There’s a lot of speculation of it getting canceled again since a Muslim group is saying that it’s a “Muslim killing simulator” so they are asking Sony, Microsoft and other companies or not sell it on consoles and computers. Hopefully it will still get put out on Xbox, PS and computers

I can understand some of the resistance to this game being released back in ‘09. We were still in Iraq then and dudes were still dying.
We’re in 2021 now. This battle happened 16 years ago. Hell Hollywood was making movies about Vietnam about that long after it was over (Full Metal Jacket, Platoon, etc.)
This battle is history now. I don’t want to wait another 10 or 15 years before the stories of the Marines who fought in Fallujah get told through this medium. Better it get told now while their memories are still complete.

I came in a couple years after Fallujah. I fought in Baghdad during the surge and the spring fighting of 08, and spent time in Sadr City. I have never seen a game that captures the genuine fear and intensity of urban combat like what y'all just watched. Dude. This shit is nuts.

So the old version of the game you referenced was in an alpha or beta state but it got the axe for being too controversial that no publisher wanted to pick it up and give these guys the support they deserved. I’m glad that they were finally able to see their project green-lit.

As for the game itself? With the changing scenery with every time you play? It'll keep you on high alert, the entire time. If you aren't vigilant when playing it? Chances are? You become a casualty. It's going to be a super GOOD game, a very REALISTIC game.

For the curious, what they mean with the SMAW by "firing those round beforehand to make sure you're on target" is that the SMAW has special tracer cartridges you can fire to see where the rocket should hit.
