Hi Laura, Thank you for your videos. It’s sad that you’re moving away, but at the same time, I’m excited about your new adventures and that we can follow you along. I’m originally from Germany, and since I was a little kid, I’ve dreamed of moving to Denmark. Due to contractual obligations, it will still take 2-3 years, but I’m really looking to it when the time finally comes. It‘s my personal goal before i turn 30. Vacations are always the West Coast in Denmark. So when i live there, i can finally travel some other scandinavian coutries bc i‘m not „homesick“ anymore 😅 Have a lovely day!
You’re the sweetest, thank you! 🫶✨ for now, we’re still staying for a little while 🥰 if there’s any changes, you’ll be the first to know! It’s so cool that Denmark has always been on your list, fingers crossed for your move!! Love your goal! The west coast is so beautiful, I get it!! And traveling Scandinavia sounds so romantic and adventurous 🥰😍
Hey Jessy! I hope that you will get to fulfill your dreams and that you will have a great time doing so! I hope Denmark can live up to your expectations! I'm in the opposite situation as you, I'm from Denmark but I'm planning on moving to Germany in a few years, so I'm trying to speed-run learning the language. I love the German language, but it's hard to learn! Not as hard as Danish though, that's a big assignment when you get here. Do you have any advice on how to settle in Germany? All the best
My fathers great grandfather was born in the city of kiel in holstein. I like to visit germany every once in awhile. I was born i denmark myself by danish parents. Great video. Take care.
what you didnt like about Munich? I lived there 3.5 y and left, hard job, less money, bad healthcare system...is Denmark better according to you? I moved to Croatia . Thank you
Munich is a beautiful city!! I was just ready to see more of the world and always wanted to live a couple years abroad :) Regards to your question: I made a whole video about the pros and cons of living in Denmark (also talking about the health care and income), check it out here: th-cam.com/video/Pfp9240EcyI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Byeij68v8I_x-jao greetings to croatia!!
So, if the company is Lego, it would be logic if you chose to live in Århus I guess. There are of course also Vejle etc. but for the place to be large enough, my guess would be Århus.
Oh goodness. I’ve been watching you forever and I’m just now realizing that we are both Lego spouses who most likely live in the same city. What the heck 😅
If you watch my „Pros and Cons living in Denmark“ video, you’ll notice that I share how peaceful Denmark is and how much I love that! But I’m excited to get into new adventures and explore more of the world and don’t see myself settle here for now 🥰
Germans has no problems with depression. Twenty years ago we had no problems with depression either, then our eating habits changed. Germans still have their “secret weapon” against depression: Sauerkraut. We ate a lot of kale in the winter time, especially green kale is good. Green kale is a super food, but it has more or less disappeared from our dining table. Kale is what you need and stay active during winter. Hugging the couch is no god. Kale at least once a week during winter, and a bike ride or two up Christian Winthersvej i Vejle, then you will be fine.
You mean I need to fall in love with Sauerkraut in my old days...? noooooo hahahahaaaaa I had no idea this can have such an impact! Need to do my research on that :) thank you for sharing!
@@laurariedt yeah do that. Kale is brilliant to keep the depression away and the green kale might be the best.
@@laurariedt BTW, I sometimes make my own sauerkraut, it is pretty easy to make. When fermented to my taste, I fry it on a pan, adding a little sugar. Putting in small bacon cubes and then finish it with some cream. Add salt and peper to your liking. It really tastes wunderscön.

Well. I moved here from Germany in '92 ... so far I have no complaints :)
Love that for you!

Very cool! Thanks for sharing!! 🙌✨
February is not the worst - March is just around the corner !! - November is worse !!
I get that. November is the darkest (with December) but the weather from January to March is just awful 😂 plus the Christmas lights are all gone!!
That’s a wrap!! If you have any more questions about why and how we moved to Denmark, drop them below 🥰🎉
My Girlfriend loves lego and we go every year at least once a year to billund. We are planning on moving there when we retire at the latest :)
Sounds amazing!! Fingers crossed for you both ✨
nice q+a! Also I really like your eyeshadow 🤍
Thank you!! 🥰 I’m so glad you like it!!

I'm guessing the company is Lego ;) Saw it in the background 😅
Great, you eagle-eye!!!

Århus is such a lovely city!! But the commute to Lego is too long for us :)
I thought you where German - germans don't need visas to go to Denmark - you can work anywhere in the EU ??
Nope, without a visa or a job in the country I would need to leave after 6 months ✈️
no, you can´t... You can WORK here without a visa as a german, but you can´t just chill here....
Oh goodness. I’ve been watching you forever and I’m just now realizing that we are both Lego spouses who most likely live in the same city. What the heck 😅
ahahahah I love that!! that's funny!!
from danmark to the us?? and talking about peace full? hmm.

@@Gert-DK thank you for sharing the deliciousness!!
Guessing he is at Novo Nordisk in Kalundborg :)
My guess is Lego i Billund, and they live in Vejle.
interesting guess!! I must admit, I never heard of the company before :)
@@laurariedt Novo Nordisk is actually the most valuable company in Europe.
@@laurariedt Really ? omg...
You're so lucky to be an EU citizen! It's so much easier for you.
It does!! ✈️✨
