I’ve been looking up information about British values but a lot of the information I was getting was confusing and unclear. This code was very helpful and informative and I feel I now have a good understanding of British values. Thank you.

5 British Values: (1) Rule of Law, (2)Tolerance, (3) Democracy, (4) Individual Liberty (5) Mutual Respect - I love this Value System - In multicultural societies, the greater good prevails in these countries.

Nice discription. At India we call it as good old, traditional, Gurukulam education system with similar emphasis. Keep tuting. Good Job.

I have a question! Does not 'tolerance' also imply that people can have the liberty to criticise other beliefs, ideologies etc. And therefore, we would have to tolerate such criticism directed at oneself and visa versa?

Charles Manson, is the literal human embodiment of British values.
Go and listen to his song named
    " My world "

    What about colonies ?

You have a very good point, where were British values when we Brits colonized the world. While they are good values that should be taught at school, they aren't specifically, they're just good values to follow, what makes them British?

I find the notion of calling them "British values" old fashioned at best and borderline racist at worst @grassytramtracks other countries have these values too, as you said

Disarming the British people at an early age is social engineering of the worst kind. Now the British are unable to defend themselves against invaders from medieval societies. This policy is just one aspect of Genocide as defined by Lemkin when he created the concept in 1943.
