Thanks so much for watching you lovely people!😊 We hope this video brings some colour to your day, if you enjoyed it don't forget to give it a thumbs up👍 as it really helps our little channel! See you next time!
We're heading to Buenos Aires in January 2023 after our Antarctic Cruise out of Santiago Chile. My wife and I have been blessed to travel to 77 countries to date (we just went to Bulgaria, Serbia, and Romania in October). I'd love to connect to pick your brains on Santiago, Buenos Aires, Igauzu falls and Rio De Janiero.
I did attend an incredible soccer match between Boca and Tigres. It was an insane atmosphere! We were herded in and out and asked not to talk. I now regret not doing more time in the neighborhood after seeing this lovely vlog. Perhaps next time I am in BA i can check out this neighborhood on a Saturday.
Must go there one day so bright colourful and fun. Argentine tango the best my favourite dance, did a workshop for a weekend had the best time. Loving this country
Just watching this gets me so excited! Argentina is one of the places I want to visit at most in South America. Everything is so colorful, lively and vibrant! Aghh Tango dancers too! 😍 love trying different liquors as well. Steve would have been so excited to see the stadium as well. So glad you got to share this video! ❤
We have really enjoyed our time in Argentina but it's definitely been a bit of a learning curve with their finances especially as we're now travelling around the whole country. You will love it though, it's so diverse from North to South!
Great to see La Boca - colourful or what?!? Did you get to do Argentinian Tango- heard it’s really excellent there! Lively place & people look very friendly. Craig’s lunch WAS huge! The colourful shops were something else, very bright with some fab paintings- such talented artists! Great for Craig to see the football stadium! Loved that even the paving stones were painted bright colours! Looked a fun place to visit!
We looked into doing some Tango but it seemed like only official classes which seemed a bit intimidating and also cost about $80 per person for an hour. We just want to do a fun laid back bit of dancing, if we find a place somewhere we'll do it but for now we're just happy watching the pros! 😊 The colours here are really beautiful especially in the sunshine!
Love the color. Love the passionate sound, color. Love the blue & gold, of course! 💙💛💙 I sense just a touch of rivalry between Argentina & Brazil? 🤣 “Kind of like a cup of tea in color…” but not the taste! To use a street as a canvas…Caminito…wow!! La Bombanera!!!!!! Yaaassss! Don’t melt!!
The colours are the most uplifting, we didn’t stop smiling all day after being there! Definitely a bit of rivalry I think 😂 La Bombonera was just so cool to see in real life! 🙌🏼
What a beautiful neighborhood! Seems like a cool, lively vibe there. Love all the colorful buildings there, and the fact that they just have tango dancers out on the street! Awesome that you got to see the Boca Juniors stadium too! I can only imagine how much Diego Maradona gear was around the stadium
I love your video. Thank you. I was there in 1995 and back than there was only one lovely colorful street, very short, and that was Caminito. Fantastic how this Barrio has improved. I was a fan already but this is amazing to see ❤❤❤
The colorful buildings and streets are incredible 😍 I am so glad that you did feel safe exploring the touristy areas. The expectation vs reality of Kirsty's order 😆 what a bit of a surprise 😁
Just love the vibeyness of the city 🤗 so colourful and the tango dancers… 🤩🤩🤩 You guys will have to show your skills! 😅 Looks super hot…just like here by us at the moment haha hot and humid!! So glad you went to the stadium! Awesome to see where Maradona started ⚽️
Craig is still pinching himself that he actually got to see the stadium in real life! We have still yet to actually do any Tango ourselves, it looks pretty difficult but we will try and give it a go before we leave. We're fully embracing some other Argentine traditions especially the drinking of Malbec! 🍷😋
We looked into Tango lessons but only found official one hour lessons that were $80 per person. We are hoping to find a more relaxed group class somewhere along our travels and we’ll join in with that maybe ☺️
It's such a colourful city! I love how cheery it felt and seeing all of the tango dancers was really cool. I bet it will only be a matter of time before you two try your dancing skills for YT. Looked like it was a great day exploring around the city - and seemed like the people were friendly too.
Love the colours! Reminds me of Villajoyosa in the South-East of Spain. "Yerba Mate" was cool even before all of those modern "hipsters" were born! 🧉 Craig, please don't butcher it with your English pronounciation 😝 Kirsty, are those new sunglasses or was this filmed before they got nicked? Really happy to see you both smiling and enjoying those adventures!
We are determined to try some Yerba Mate while we're out here. We learnt even more about it (next weeks video) We'll never pronounce it wrong again! 😂 Sadly these are the sunglasses that got stolen, as this video was meant to come out last Friday. In next weeks video there's a lot of squinting, but now I have a new pair and the adventures are well and truly back on!
Buenos Aires, what a spectacular and interesting place, wonderful market area, what was the average temperature in Fahrenheit there? It looked hot 🔥 🥵. Glad you got your editing sorted anyway 👍
We were so happy to get this video shared at last! It was around 95 degrees that day (about 35 in Celcius) so after walking around we were so thankful to cool off afterwards. Although we've since made our way to Iguazu which is higher in temp and humidity! 🥵
We also visited those places in the city. Palermo, Puerto Madero and Recoleta are really cool but La Boca definitely has it's charm too, it's so full of colour ☺

Tigres are the more snooty bunch.

We're still yet to try it for ourselves but we have enjoyed seeing so many Tango dancers in parks, on the street and in restaurants!
