I'm really into Zaharoff seraphim blue! Insanely good!
Montblanc is definitely the most underrated fresh scent of 2024. It just...works, lol. It's my staple scent for hot summer days this year.
@@jazzfox5531 it definitely does…work
😂 you got me with that last second switch. I am right there with you. My number one and number two are the same. Great year so far.
@@Mr.E.Fragrance ya the top 3 to me are a distant 1,2,3 to the others
Ive used the term "pure chocolate" in reference to quite a few fragrances over the years so I doubt Ash stole that from you my man. I gurantee he doesnt watch your vids no offense. Personally I cant stand chocolate in a mans fragrance. I have no idea why someone would enjoy smelling like a candy bar. Just my humble opinion of course. Some decent fragrances in your list for sure. Thanks for the content. Keep up the fine work!
@@TerrainJeremy3945 lol that was a joke one of my subs said it in my live and we were all laughing. I personally love gourmand fragrances and it’s on of my wife’s favorite styles of fragrances for me to wear. Different styles is the reason we have a fragrance community if everyone liked the same thing it wouldn’t be as fun
@@FragranceDOUD Fine point. Agreed.
That new mont blac is tuff reminds me of percival
Definitely does
Great list I still needa try triumph elixir seems like a better wear than boss bottled elixir to me
@@Juan-O24 ya def easier wear not as situational or smoky
I wore Lacoste-Match point edt yesterday on my arm and i was....Daaaamn this smells amazing haha. Weird that some days a fragrance just smell different. Maybe it´s because weather is a bit warmer and the skin heats up. I have an almost full bottle of Boss The scent le parfum. Sometimes i think it´s amaing and sometimes i just dont like the opening. The dry down is fantastic. I have been dreaming about fragrances. This fragrance quest is getting out of hand haha...i´m going to rehab. Yes i have a fragrance addiction haha
@@glowboyglow315 ya I noted that to its way better in certain weather and I havent paid attention to what that is lol. And the scent le Parfum I actually find to be good but bottom of the barrel in the lineup
@@FragranceDOUD I had to try le parfum last night just because of lacoste and now i even liked le parfum better. I thought of it as a winter fragrance but i will start to wear it now in autumn. Havn´t tried the magnetic that came last year but i would guess it is redundant to have more if the difference is only bran and more vanilla.
the way i haven’t brought anything this year been shopping my stash. but there’s a few here i want to sample.
@@nva9289 hey that’s prob better wait till their all released then go to Macys or wherever test them all then buy on discounters ur favorites
I love the both cobalts. I like the og a little better but i still need to wear the elixir a little more
For people that like MYSLF and want to save a bit of money, you can consider Philip Plein Gold (it's half the price) - it has the same orange blossom vibe, and made by Alberto Morrilas. I like the smell more than the YSL. Curious about the Montblanc Blue, the Red was very underwhelming...
@@FlorinToader ya the red was underwhelming the blue is much better. I actually like the MYSLF a bit better than the gold but ur right it’s good I get more orange blossom from that tho
@@FragranceDOUD anyway thx man, you're a wallet saver. Around 2021/22 i was gobbling up every new release but lately, things have been quite mediocre... just following a couple of smaller channels like yours (bigger ones a re a bit dishonest) to see what i should blind buy...
@@FlorinToader I really appreciate the kind words I will be honest no matter what and I will continue to try to help the best I can!
stronger with you tobacco, when it reach the dry down, is almost identical to Herod
My favorite designer fragrance this year by far is Guerlain Habit Rouge Parfum.
Right there with you, friend! Amazing fragrance, and the best among these slim pickings of rehashes and boring releases.
@@kevino73 ya I haven’t tried that one I have been wanting to tho. I heard it’s a bit gourmand
@@FragranceDOUD Definitely more in that direction than the last release, but make no mistake, it's still a sophisticated, grown ass man fragrance.
Montblanc Legend Blue, Azzaro the Most Wanted EDT, and Badboy Cobalt Elixir are my top 3 designers from what I've personally tried all three are very mass appealing, can't go wrong any type of situation type scents. Prada Ocean Le Parfum is an honorable mention for me; I actually really like the Saffron, Leathery vibe of that and will pick it up in fall.
The Scent Elixir wasn't really my thing the opening was interesting but then it just went to a boring, generic Lavender, Sandalwood profile that's a dime a dozen but a lot of people really love that line. Still waiting to try Spicebomb Dark Leather... I really hope it's Not like Extreme like one reviewer compared it to... Extreme is my least favorite Spicebomb..
@@patrickpolak2402 extreme is also my least favorite Spicebomb
I call shenanigans with that last second switch lmao
@@traffictraffic lol I wish u woulda saw the table
Why can't i find "the scent Elixir"?
@@Alritealritealrite it’s on jomashop
Dark Leather has been my biggest disappointment by far. Really poor.
I’ve heard as much
Why is that 🐊 logo 5x bigger than usual😅
@@primarya4156 hahah I asked the guy at the lacoste store the same thing. I decided to buy it just cause of all the Lacoste shirts I own that was the only one with a giant alligator
Bulgari pour homme edp!!
@@ΓερασιμοςΓατσωρης ya I haven’t tried that one been waiting for it to hit discounters
Myslf le parfum is terrible, to me it smelled like sugar water & rubber. No warm or vanilla notes just a watered down hint of the og.
@@jpasto3163 must just not sit right with you I like it better than the og and that’s basically what I’ve heard the consensus is while I have heard a couple say similar to u
This year was awful. The Scent Elixir really disappointed me, all I get is pimento dipped in Magnetic, all the other releases are rehashed trash, even giving benefit of the doubt to Montblanc which I haven't smelled, it's been a rather terrible year for designer frags. Habit Rouge Parfum best by far.
@@jove1155 I mean there’s not really awful fragrances when it comes to designers outside of maybe like 1%. Most are made for mass appeal and while I agree that this years top 5 wouldn’t even be in the top 50 of the past 10 years and overall this year has been subpar they all smell at least good. But knowing ur favorite is habit rouge oarfum )which I haven’t tried yet but plan to its just not something you can test in the states) I know you have eclectic tastes and for you the mainstream (Macys/sephora) designers across the board probably bore you so I get where ur coming from everyone has different tastes. But I know the scent elixir has been praised by many many people as for me it has vibes of one of my favorite fragrances Spicebomb infrared so that’s why I love it but for someone in ur case I could see why u don’t. But saying awful is a bit harsh because every designer for the most part smells at least ok
@@FragranceDOUD I was exaggerating for effect, but c'mon: is this stuff the best that can be put out in the 2020s? It's like Y L'Elixir: smells good, sure, but why does it even exist? It's practically the same thing. It's a severe lack of creativity and I think it deserves to be called out. I wouldn't advise anyone to buy any of these latest releases, when solid predecessors exist, especially for the prices being asked for some.
