When first hearing Mithrax say, "Because we would wish to live.", we took it the same way as Saint. But with the context of The story about Saint-14 from the Eliksni People, those words take a whole new meaning
It is somewhat justified by the fact that those were different times in the modern-day destiny, there is a very clear change from the past to the in terms of the smaller character moments. However, what is unjustified is the Red War being vaulted and thus turning Cayde into a background extra.
When Saint mentions being more proactive, taking back ground taken from humanity, I believe that may be foreshadowing to what may happe after The Final Shape. After the end of the once eternal conflict of the Gardner and Winnower, humanity and the Guardians would be free of the petty struggle between the two entities to take back what matters and what was lost. At least, that’s my speculation, there may be greater threats beyond Sol.
I'm now catching up on story I missed now during final 2 seasons of Witch queen ... And this is what i'm thinking! Savathun seemed to have a lot of options to turn the tower on his head!
Now that we know that Osiris was Savathuun, the moment at 9:00 feels a lot like "Yeah... I didn't really expect you guys to get this far.... uh... good job??"
Rewatching everything, this season is basically just Savathun going 'wait, shoot, they're doing TOO good of a job, gotta switch strategy' Though maybe she was expecting this and planned accordingly? Idk, she's pretty tricky as expected.
I wish Saint wouldve put up a bubble to have the Eliksni run into when he and Mithrax were holding the line. It would've gone from a symbol of their worst fear to their salvation.
To be fair, guardians are terrifying, the powers, killing gods and turning them into weapons, the horror that poor dregs have witnessed when a guardian wanted to try out new abilities and exotics, the stories about guardians killing each other, drifter straight up eating everything
Just think about how difficult it was for Misraaks to maintain his composure and fight for his people while standing in the face of the incarnation of death? One nasty enough look from The Saint and he’d probably start trembling at the knees.

@@CordlessJet549 In dialogue during the Season of the Dawn when we traveled to Mercurys past we encountered Saint-14 fighting Fallen of the House of Rain. I specifically remember Saint mentioning that the Fallen dregs would eat children.

This is still my favorite season. Best story ever. Had some real emotion. The activities were fun and plentiful with descent variety of enemies and locations. Good looking weapons and the upgrades bro. Yes yes 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I just absolutely love the characters development for Saint-14. Especially his relationship with Mithrax. Man went from prejudiced to brother's in arm. Gotta admit, i shed a tear when he said "You're my people".
Anyone else really annoyed by the bs politics from the former faction leaders? seriously, did they think opening a vex portal in the middle of the city would lead to anything else?
It's cool and all but I am kind of sad they reduced the Blade Transform to a Seasonal limited time boss, but we have three different big Harpy encounters in a Strike, Dungeon and a Raid. I mean, this is the same Mind who made war with Oryx in his own Throne World for thousands of years, you guys!

What’s sweet, is how during his realization- Saint corrected himself calling the Eliksni Fallen. I thought that was really neat.

Just purchased an ornament for my Helm of Saint - 14, that makes the helmet look as monstrous as the one in mithrax's flashback. It's excellent, lol.
