Commenting just after the presentation part of the video....wow, wow, wow! When you said the SI joint is like a keystone that made SO much sense! Also the entire argument for the SI joint as remaining stable and not moving makes so much sense. And the length of time it takes to recover....I always appreciate a better understanding of that. In retrospect, I hadn't really thought about it much before (not wanting to come up with false ideas) but some of my issue very well could be from either over manipulation or wrongly timed manipulation by a professional. I cherish this highly detailed information as it is so helpful and greatly appreciate you taking the time to explain it for us!
Tina with the tight hip. Idk if you will see this but I caution you to be careful. The tightness can be a symptom of SI injury and your body is trying to stabilize the joint. This is how I started. I thought I needed to loosen the tightness to get relief. The kind of stretching you are talking about made it worse for me. What helped the most was doing the bridge. The type of info he was presenting today speaks to this exactly. When I got the gluteal muscles etc to engage properly doing low bridge, with the belt and other such in the CBT program, the other tight muscles thought were in the hip area started relaxing and letting go. So don't focus on them. Focus on creating stability in the SI joint and stretching the front soas (?) with the bridge. See his video also on the tilt of the entire pelvis and tug of war between front and back. You might be tight because the front is pulling the back muscles and the front ones need stretching rather than the ones that hurt.
❤ your amazing, my pelvic was pushed forward due to falling into a door frame for 16 years it was trapped by the lower back, and forwarded to the right front, long story short, when it was released, all the ligaments tendons, and muscles were cast and locked, if anyone had done that to me it would have ripped everything apart, so terrifying considering my SI joint was taking all the pressure all those years, it was like that all those years because of misdiagnosis, thank you for your videos they are life changing ❤
Wonderful images! My pelvis was forced anteriorly for at least 3 years (farm work, heavy lifting). That along with a 7mm l4/l5 anteriolithesis, so fascet joint involvement. Your program has helped me redevelop glutes and abdominal muscles, but I have had no improvement in ligament tension. I gave up visiting my chiro who insisted on stretching my si's and lower back. I have been doing exercises for 4 months now with no improvement in laxness but definite improvement in muscle strength. I am relying on an si belt to allow me to function throughout the day (and sleeping at night). You are the first I have heard talk about clicking and knocking; Chiro thought i was nuts 😊. Thank you for your hard work to help all of us!
Hi Louise, thank you so much for sharing your journey with us! We're so happy to hear that the program has helped you in redeveloping your muscles. We’re grateful to have you in the program, and proud of you for the progress that you've made! 🙏
This is exactly what I've been struggling with for over a year now. I've managed to hit single after an injury but it still doesn't feel like what it felt like before the injury. I still practice yoga and I'm very very mindful of where my pelvis is in space!
Hi Daniel, thank you so much for your kind words and for joining our channel! We're so happy to hear that you've found our content helpful. Glad to have you here! 🙏
Hi! And thanks for amazing videos!🙏🏻 I have had pain on the right side of my lower back for over three years now. Went to several therapists and got different answers but that I have weak hip flexors, weak butt, etc. I have now been doing rehab for 3 years but it hasn't gotten any better. Sometimes I can go several weeks/months without pain but now in a bad period again. When I get pain, I get a pain my back is not straight, like i get a lumbago. I have all the symtoms for SI joint pain and i now think thats my problem. The question is, can your back tilt to one side when in pain? I had it explained to me that it is my muscles that are cramping. (Side note, got the pain after my first pregnacy and i have now had my second child 6 mounths ago.) Also a question, i have pain in my right hip and down to my groins. Thats syntoms of SI joint pain to right?
I am just starting the course. I made the mistake of going to see a chiropractor for right SI Joint pain and doing what he said was "gentle techniques" he managed to badly sprain my left SI joint to the point that I have been in bed for 2 weeks and walking painfully on crutches. It's not helping that I have L4/L5 facet joint pain as well. Anyway, I am also getting PRP therapy for the joint and ligaments (recommended by my doctor who did my L5/S1 Fusion 6 years ago). I think these help the tissues to heal. Do you have any experience with this? The message about having to be pretty much perfect on not re-injuring the ligaments is coming through loud and clear! Right now, it is a very narrow line to tread. And so demoralising when you make a mistake...
Hi Michael, a warm welcome to the program! I'm so sorry to hear about your experience with the chiropractor and the resulting pain you've been dealing with. I'd like to share that the movements from the first Module included in the free 7-day trial are very gentle and often provide significant relief. The program begins with simple therapeutic exercises aimed at developing core awareness, which can help soothe the painful area, so you're in the right place. Regarding PRP therapy, Dr. Ryan shares about his experience with it in this video: th-cam.com/video/rle_IKrAtR0/w-d-xo.html. Hopefully, you find the information helpful. If you have any further questions or need any guidance along the way, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to support you on your journey to recovery!
Hi Ryan! I have had SI joint pain for over a year. And have been trying your program. This week I have experienced a new type of pain that’s like a scratchy itchy pain in my SI joint when I move or just around the entire lower back but it’s tied strongly to the middle bone area) like there is a small line inside that is being irritated every step I take or when I move. What could this be?
Hi Kathy, thank you for your comment! Closed captions are enabled for all our videos, however it does take TH-cam several hours to generate them. Since we recorded the livestream today, it may take several hours until the captions are ready. Thank you for your patience! 😊

On behalf of the hearing impaired, can you please turn on closed captions? I'm sure it was just an oversight. Thank you.
