My last two years in high school were the two years between the VHS and DVD releases of this. By the time I bought the DVD the tape was unwatchable on certain songs from wear damage.
Amazing to be so clear on what you believe at such a young age. I have always admired the consistency by which they live out their message.
this is the greatest music documentary ever. i love these guys. what an inspiration. if your looking for real emotion, you really need to look no further.
I know I put aside time to watch a documentary, but Im having f*cking tremors going up my spine urging me to pick up my guitar and destroy the eardrums of a whole neighborhood by the first 5 minutes of this film.
Take breaks and come back to it. That's what I'm doing.

Growing up in the 80’s in Tampa skateboarding was one of the things I got into at 12. My friends dad built a 10’ half pipe in the backyard, we would drink, listen to music like Minor Threat, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Dead Kennedy’s, Talking Heads, The Clash, Operation Ivy, Bikini Kill, Slayer, L7, Death, Sonic Youth, Soundgarden and many more. When Fugazi came out that was excellent saw them at Janus Landing
those were the fukn dayz.

Hay muchos errores en la traducción. En los primeros 12 minutos conté más de 10, te lo digo en muy buena, porque pienso que este el mejor documental de todos los tiempos, y Fugazi la mejor banda de todos los tiempos, y siempre he querido que este documental esté subtitulado, pero es complejo por el hecho de que no hay una traducción oficial, el lenguaje del documental es difícil y hay poca gente bilingüe que guste de Fugazi. Me gustaría colaborar para mejorar los subtitulos y lo digo con muy buena onda.

I remember watching this Doc waaay back in the day, and at the part of 2:14:25 seeing the banner "There will be two Wars," and wondering, "Will there be two wars? that doesn't seem likely" Fast forward to 2020 and the war in the Middle East is still raging from the second war Fugazi foretold. The Afghanistan conflict is the longest in our history. That banner was the most prophetic statement I have ever seen.
"there will be two wars" means that there's the war that America "fights" and presents to world as furthering democracy and the reality of the war - the civilian side of the war. All of the loss of life that the US considers only as "collateral damage."
@@afauxican_american i think it meant there will be the war and there will be a war against the war by people opposed to it by protesting etc! who knows! that's the problem with political sloganering!

Fugazi evolved from a punk rock style that was unique in itself to a way of experimenting that was unique as well. Hard to find similar bands.
