One queston to y'all: I need to mount some PLATSA wardrobes to a wall but there's a power socket right behind it. Therefore the black things shown at 4:39 don't provide enough spacing to bridge over the socket and a plug connected to it. Any ideas? Is a wall mount even necessary if multiple wardrobes (some small and some big ones combined) are connected together using the technique you showed us in part 3?
Which length of wall plug did you use for these 6 cm screws as only 3 cm of screw is in the wall ? I don't want to drill into the wall more than I should. So assuming I need to go with 3 cm wall plug. Thanks in advance x
It seems you are a master, great video. Question: I also have a wardrobe to build (h190XL170cm) with sliding doors and one is a mirror so quite heavy. Issue is that the wall behind where I should attach the wardrobe is basically empty hence I can’t work with any drill. What can I do? No children around, shall I leave it like that, is it safe enough? I fear the mirror door is too heavy. What about any patafix or smt similar? Thanks in advance
Can platsa upper cabinets on their own be hanged on the wall? Not supported by lower cabinets. How close to the sealing is it then possible? Thank you!
Any advantage in waiting until the unit is complete to fasten to wall? Could you assemble the frames, fix to wall and then install hinges, drawers, doors etc?
Usually I attach wardrobes to the wall before all interiors and doors just for video I did this way but it not make any difference apart from removing doors and drawers out before wall mounting.
Brilliant videos, explain everything very clearly👍 . I've got carpet in my house and am planning on removing the skirting boards. Would you recommend fixing each wardrobe to the wall first and then join them all together, or join and fix (or fix and join) as I go along?
@@PPFlatPack do you think that if I screw the front feet a bit upper so the wardrobe is supported on the wall it would be enough? I know that the clothing's weight tends to balance the wardrobe forward but I don't have the machine to use wo check for electricity wires and I'm bit worried about drilling into one, plus dissambly issues when moving out. Thank you for the videos 😁
I bought platsa but they fall at me when I open the door, unless wall mounted. Is wall mounting necessary? Or are they really designed that they fall after opening if not mounted?
Thanks
thanks, we've built it easily because of you! Great job!
Thank you for watching
Thanks for the great video! So it is not necessary to fix the upper boards on the wall?
Thanks great series, very helpful

Which hinges did you use ? as I cannot get the standard hjalpa to get the top of the door level for a platsa wardrobe
Hi, great video thanks. I'm building my Platsa too. Which door handle is it you're using?

Better to be safe than sorry if you can't attach your self better if you get someone who can help with that especially if you have small kids.
Which size drill bit pls?
Where I can buy the “black spacer”?

yes, the smaller 45cm ones can. Just use the online "designer". It will put all the necessary parts in your basket.
Do ikea provide the wall mounting screws together with the frame package or need to buy it separately??
You need to get them separately

@@PPFlatPack After watching this video series, I was well prepped to install my own Platsa units, particularly securing to the wall. Thanks again!

Are your ceilings very high?
Thanks, this is the video I was waiting for.👍

What is the name of the handles on the doors please?
I also wondered
Is the wardrobe system stable enough not to need the wallmounting? Seems like a lot of unnecessary effort with reinforced concrete panel walls...
Better safe than sorry
