I have lost 80lbs in 1.5 years with intermittent fasting and while on Wegovy. I haven't experienced any side effects. Keep going and make sure you are eating appropriately.
I am in a case study for Semaglutide. I am not diabetic but I need to lose sixty pounds. I had my first injection this Monday, April 24th. I am already feeling like I am not craving sweets and I am feeling less hungry three days in. This week's first injection is 0.5. My Mom took Wegovy and lost sixty pounds and she exercised too. I will keep you ladies updated each month.
I have found that it works to suppress your appetite but keep in mind you still need protein and multivitamins bc you may not be getting enough from food,
@@sandrabalogun4409 My Mom's doctor gave her a year's worth of sample injections but then he wasn't able to give them to her, and her insurance doesn't cover it. She stopped losing weight after he ran out of samples.
@@christinamartinez8132 That is unfortunate on so many levels! But I'm beginning to wonder if it's politics. Can you imagine how much other drug manufacturers stand to lose if a large portion of America reversed their, high BP, A1c and improved their lipid panels? I've already heard that Jenny Craig Centers are filling bankruptcy. Oftentimes is a case of "follow the money." Semaglutide stock increases, causing the stocks of metformin, stating and the many BP med stock to crash. It could be pretty disruptive to the pharmaceutical industry. Think about it. 🤔
I love when our peers are unscripted and do reviews, it is 100% more relatable and reassuring. This is far more helpful than the other videos I have seen.
For fighting fatigue, every morning take a slice of lemon, a tsp of turmeric, warm water, and blend ALL of it together and drink it. The peel is packed full of vitamin J and this concoction helps with hydration, having natural vitamin b, and natural electrolytes.
I just started the Wegovy this morning and I’m so excited. I recently started working out again. I was 333 pounds a few weeks ago and this morning I was 316.5. So I’m just hoping Wegovy gives me that extra edge to get the weight off and keep it off. But I will try to keep you updated on my progress.
@@vegan_pisces yup!!!! I weighed 305.5 last night. I am so excited and so close to 300 pounds. Which is my first goal! As soon as I hit 300, I will post on here with big bold letters!!! Thank you so much for asking. Too many TH-camrs say they care about their audience, but you really seem to actually care. Keep striving people, no matter what you are trying. But Wegovy works if you meet it halfway!!!
I started my process on ozempic but then my doctor prescribed Wegovy, in February I was at 395lb at that time I left my desk job and my new job has me walking 3miles a day. I’m now at 304lb but I’m done taking these injections (I feel terrible by mid week w/ nausea) I’m going to continue to watch what I eat & exercise 🤞🏾
Im glad you were able to find some success with it along with some healthy habits. I’m hoping they will eventually be able to tweek the formula to ease the nausea.
Thank you, thank you & thank you! I started Wegovy 4 Days ago and the fatigue had me thinking I couldn’t stay on Wegovy. I’m so thankful to run across your video about the fatigue side affectthat is so debilitating. I went straight out and bought electrolyte drinks and bone broth and I feel 💯 percent better. Prior to staring Wegovy, I was walking 2 to 3 days a week and on other days I worked to get 10k steps in along with weight training 2 times a week so when the fatigue hit me I wasn’t sure if I could stay with my current fitness regime. I also added B12 (methylcobalamin 5000 gm) God bless u for sharing your journey. 💕
I am beyond grateful to come across your video! I thought I was going insane with fatigue, especially since I have had Covid. But it hit really hard on week 3 for me which threw me for a loop. Thank you SOO much for sharing your experience ❤❤❤
Thank you for mentioning the fatigue! And giving advice about how to handle it. You are the first one to address this. I was about to give up on this because for three days all I would do is sleep!
I just started on day 6 and oh yes your hunger comes back right before your weekly shot is due. Have a plan! Do not have any tempting foods in the house. Wow, I was not expecting this night and day difference. But on the plus side your constipation goes away. I would suggest Chia seeds, caffeine in moderation anything to fill you up and distract you mentally! Thank you for your videos, thanks for being real!
New Wegovy user and in week 2 and everything you mentioned resonates with me. I am terrible water drinker but you’re right, it makes a 💯 difference for all the side effects! Thanks for the video!
You are so encouraging and honest about Wegovy. I've enjoyed watching your journey! I took my first shot on last week Friday because I remember you mentioning the side affects. I didn't want to take the chance of getting sick at work. I drink 100 oz of water a day and I've been making healthier food choices. Thank you again for sharing and keep the videos coming. WE GOT THIS!!
Do research. I just started and I feel horrible.. very nausea .. to the point I don't think I can continue. Literally feel like I am on my first trimester
@@jessicarodriguez8657 Are you on the lowest dose, .25? Drink water 8 glasses of water or 4 /16 ozs of bottled water.the day before your injection, the day of and the day after Try unsalted crackers, ginger water, a little ginger ale. You may need to take it at night.
I'm considering Wegovy, this was very insightful -thanks for this! Hope your journey continued going well!! 1-2 lbs a wk is a very healthy weight loss. No shame in that game!! You don't want to lose too much, too quickly. Great job!!
I just started 2.4 on Saturday and was so tired yesterday and the day before. I was about to call my doc about stopping this med. Today I woke up perky and feeling great. It's crazy! I have been dealing with the fatigue and just feeling lazy and tired for months and this video gives me hope!
Thank you for this post Ceda, I really needed it. Even as a reminder. My family is ready to take me to the hospital because I've been sleeping like 19 hours and it's crazy! Also the leg cramps...I forgot that dehydration is very real. And the constipation, I know I'm not getting enough water in so that's just making it worse. These were ALL great reminders and I truly thank you for all the suggestions. Love your videos and insight.
I have recently commenced my Wegovy treatment regimen. I am pleased to report a significant weight reduction of 10 pounds within a 2-week period. However, I have been experiencing some fatigue. I appreciate the advice regarding the importance of maintaining electrolyte balance. It is gratifying to note that my physical well-being has not been this optimal in the past 6 years. I wish I could actually make videos about what's happening in my life with Wegovy, but I'm to shy You're amazing and beautiful Thank you for all you do. Your personality shines ✨️ you are so funny too 😂
Hi Ceda I'm so happy I came across this post. I'm 55 years old full blown menopause, 5 feet tall 169 lbs and I just started Wegovy, im trying to lose 40lbs and listening to you is making feel a little more at ease. Thank you
I noticed that as well with the eating. I was eating less and would have to drink protein shakes. I finally found balance and begin to eat more and drink more water. I drink water ALL day. I also drink Zero Gatorade for the electrolytes. Oh my it gives me life (not a fan of coconut). I also will use Miralax if constipation is persistent. However, apple juice works wonders for my constipation.
You have a very lovely personality! I'm considering starting this journey and I'm very happy I found you. I've been struggling with weigh my entire adult life - I lose, I gain, I lose, I gain. I feel like I do know how to make good food choices, but my body and my mind is fighting me every step of the way. This is why the exit strategy for me is so important. And menopause is right around the corner. Ugh. Thank you for your videos and best wishes for your continued success!
Hi Jamie! I totally understand your struggle. This is definitely a journey for us. I don’t always get it right but I’m working on becoming on being more self aware. Like today I’m sitting at my desk and felt like I wanted some chips, I took a 10 minute walk and drank some fluids and thankfully it subsided. 6 months ago I would not have done that. Baby steps. We got this!!
Thanks for another great video Ceda! I just started the 1.7 dose and I am not liking the way I am feeling. I am nauseous all the time and just very tired and listless. I spoke to my doctor and he told me that if I am not tolerating this dose very easily, I should probably go back to a lower dose. I didn't know that was even possible! I thought you had to keep moving onward and upward. This really made me feel a whole lot better. He reminded me that I was consistently losing weight at the 1.0 mg level and I could continue that until I reached my goal. I am really thinking about doing that. Thanks for all you do! You are a SUPERSTAR! ⭐🤩
Just started a week ago. One shot down and i did feel sick the first day i got the shot, but for the most part i only feel sick when i need to eat something or if i eat too much. Fine line and i am still figuring that out. I lost 3lbs so far and i am so glad i can cone to this channel and hear about others journey
I'm actually taking Ozempic, which is just another brand of the same medication. I started July 20, 2022 and I've lost 33 lbs. I honestly don't see it, but other people do, which is weird to me lol. But, I am losing. The side effects you mentioned, I completely get, except the fatigue. I haven't experienced that too much. But everything else, definitely. The constipation is real. I take Mag 07 which helps with a smooth move. The main problem I've been experiencing is I do not eat enough. It's already 530 pm and all I've eaten is 2 dill pickles lol. For me, I start feeling sick when I eat too much, and I detest that feeling. I've developed really good habits though. I drink A LOT of water. I stopped drinking alcohol. I've lost my taste for caffeine, so I barely drink my daily cup of coffee any more (which sucks - coffee was my writer thing lol). I've literally been losing 2 lbs a week since September. I started at .25 and I've been at 1.0 since October. My doctor tried to move me to 2.0, but I'm fine right here for now. And, the 2.0 pens are not even available for the next 2 or 3 months because this is in such high demand. You look great and thanks for sharing your journey. I just ordered some Life Water with Electrolytes because of you lol. Thanks again.
That’s great! It really is about finding the balance. As for the coffee, I hated that I lost my craving for it. Since I’ve been off if it I enjoy my morning cup again without the weight gain. Good luck to you and keep up the great work!
Hi there! May I ask if your insurance covers Ozempic/if it’s expensive? I just started a month sample of Saxenda and it’s going well so far. My Dr told me that Ozempic is like $1300/month 😳
@@jaivoncopeland8236 Yes, thankfully my insurance covers Ozempic. I have a deductible so when I've met my detuctible I don't have to pay anything. The first time I got it in this plan yar, I paid $485. It's originally between 8 and $1000 I believe. It's very expensive, but it does work as long as you make changes in your eating and drinking habits.
@@teedennison3850 I hope things are going well. Just try not to over eat or eat too much sweets or fried foods and you'll be fine. Pay CLOSE attention to your body. This is a good time to start journaling your experience that way when you go back you'll be able to provide specifics and they can adjust the dosage as needed.
Just started wegovy today as well! Just got done with my kettlebell workout and i feel great as usual after my work out. But I’m also a big water drinker as well so that’s a bonus. But I’m glad I decided to look up some videos on this.
I'm so happy to have seen this video. I just started this week. Wednesday was my first shot and I had to leave work early yesterday and just slept. Today I stayed at home too. I have never taken a sick day before. I was getting so worried. Thanks for this video.
Hi Raquel, that was my experience as well! I had to leave work to go take a nap. Taking it Friday evenings really helped until my body got used to it. I eventually started taking it in the mornings.
It’s soooo true!!! 100% truth!! It’s seems counterintuitive but if you don’t eat enough calories and enough from each food group (carbs, fats) your body will not release from your system what you have eaten which actually has a mass value and it won’t burn calories it’s such a intricate science working with your organs and the main one brain to negotiate losing pounds ❤
I started Ozempic on Sunday evening for same reasons and it’s Tuesday and I’m still tired and nauseous. And your right you don’t want to eat. Congratulations on your journey.
Howdy, thanks again for the videos. I did my 2.4 dose on a wed and got really nausea and sick Thursday but extreme diarrhea on Friday. I really tho I had food poisoning and it probably wasn't bc I took the 2.4 next week and I had some of the symptoms EXACTLY the same time frame but less. I did end up cutting the dose in half bc my insurance didn't cover it. I didn't want to waste it so I cut it in half with syringes I had left over from fertility. I feel so much better on the 1.7 and the symptoms are much better and more manageable. I do agree about eating with this diet bc fatigue. Body needs fuel from food and like you, I have to eat small , nutrition meals to loose weight. Great on exit plan:) I have one bc I needed wegovy to curb my appetite and do small meals and good foods. I need to start working out bc im starting to feel flabby. Yes, I lost 42#( 32 on wegovy). I started doing healthy choices b4 I heard about wegovy . Keep up the good work and I'm so glad you are on the higher dose like me to compare. I saw someone ask about alcohol, I did have a margarita and got heartburn from it later that night.
Took first dose of 0.25. Four hours later I was having the worst vomiting. and retching I had ever had. This kept up overnight with me having a sudden wave of nausea and vomiting every two hours. I took Zofran with no improvement. By the following afternoon I was vomiting every hour with only bile and stomach acid left to come up. I ended up in the emergency room and needed 3-4 liters of fluid and several doses of IV anti nausea therapy. For the rest of the week I had almost no appetite, persistent nausea without vomiting, and no appetite. I did lose 12 lbs but not worth the risk for me. Glad it is working better for you.
Thank you for this great video. I'm starting this afternoon...and I'm both excited and a little anxious. Your tips have already made me feel better going forward!
Thank you for sharing this. I am just about to start my experience with Wegovy and am doing my research beforehand. I've been a bit scared, but your tips are helping me feel better.
So right about the fatigue! I'm not sure if losing a day (sometimes 2) in bed every week can be worth it. Doesn't seem to matter much what I do, I'm still tired out. Electrolyte balance definitely needs care, I found out to my cost at the beginning of the journey! Thanks for the good tips.
I love your posts and so grateful for hearing about your journey. On my 4th dose of .5 and find I have to eat smaller portions. Weight is coming off slooowwly but your posts have helped me not get discouraged. The fatigue is no joke!
The point of the Ozempic and Wegovy is to regulate insulin better, something along the lines of that; the appetite suppression is a bonus. Phentermine is strictly for appetite suppression, for example. 🙂 They've done studies for long term use of wegovy and Ozempic and there's some evidence that there will be weight gain when stopped, though! Anecdotal evidence is super mixed.. Some people keep the weight off perfectly fine and some gain it back. So crazy how people are so different though we generally have the same anatomy!
I am insulin resistant and plan to transition to metformin afterwards for a while on maintenance if a keto diet. Metformin is supposed to be similar in helping insulin but much more mild.
I just started Wegovy last week. I have had 2 pulmonary embolisms in the past and I am usually very short of breath. So I gained a lot of weight and I can't exercise..... And now after taking Wegovy I experienced extreme fatigue too. 3 days in a row I was almost only in bed.... oh! I will try electrolytes..... Thanks for your video!
Thank you so much. The fatigue is just indescribable. It makes me feel better to know someone has felt this to the extent I have. I start 1.7 tomorrow but I dread it.
You’re welcome! The fatigue can really impact the quality of life. Thankfully once I got to the maintenance dose of 2.4 it went away. I’ve been able to exercise consistently because of it.
Be careful starting 1.7 because I started on 2.4 and had an overdose with severe vomiting, chronic migraine, severe drop in blood sugar, lightheaded and dizziness, not even holding in pepto bismole. Look out for those things! If you end up vomiting enough where you just see only liquid GO TO THE HOSPITAL! Your worst bet is fainting, seizures, or coma. I had a small seizure. If your current dose seems too much just go to the doctor ASAP for discussion.
Wow. My biggest concern and close monitoring is for kidney function. If we are constipated, that should be your biggest clue of dehydration that can cause decreased kidney function. Laxatives also dehydrates your colon as it pulls water from your colon so drink more water to prevent the vicious cycle. Yes I have fatigue so I take my shot on the weekend so I can rest up, combat it and be ready for the following week for work. I am on Ozempic 1mg and will on this regimen 1 year February 2023; I am type 2 diabetic and my last A1C was 5.3. I have lost only 32# since being on it. I will go back on my walking program to see if I will lose more weight. I switched jobs to have more better work life balance.
Thank you for doing this video. I was just approved for my injections and going to the pharmacy tomorrow. I was a little scared but not quite so much now. Not only did you answer my questions but I really enjoyed your video. Thank you. 😁
Thank you for this content. I just started on this and would not have known about fatigue. I drink a lot of coffee and had not noticed fatigue, so I probably got lucky that I had this built-in offset. Appreciate this very spontaneous and truthful information.
So glad to have found your videos. Just got prescribed wegovy today. There’s a bit of a wait for the script because of approval but I should be starting soon.
This was very informative for me thank you! I had VSG about 8 months ago, lost about 35 pounds, but I’m still 20-30 pounds away from a healthy weight. My doctor had me try phentermine for 2 months, only lost 5 pounds. So now I’m going to be starting Wegovy next week & I’m excited & hopeful this will help me loose that extra weight. But knowing what to expect going into it will help me greatly & I appreciate you sharing your experience!
Thanks for this video!! I had my pen in my hand and decided to wait until Friday! I’m a pre-k teacher and I need my energy 😩 I’m gonna regroup and take your advise 👍🏽 Thanks again!!
Thank you so so much. I was just prescribed this medication today and I had to come on youtube and get some good honest reviews. Yours is very authentic. I appreciate it, especially your experience on the fatigue.
Perfect timing to find this. Started 2.4 on Friday and am exhausted. I had thought about B12 and will try it. Also the calorie intake info is good to know.
I am so happy that I found you and this video. I just started my 1st dose on 05/05/24 and I am really tired, nausea, and bad heartburn with a lot of burping. I am not able to eat right now because I feel so sick, but this information was helpful and I will try some of your tips and pray that it works. Thank you and keep the videos and tips coming.
I started on 5/5/24 as well. I feel tired and sluggish feeling, a little nauseous, lots of headaches. I’m still trying to push through. I have lost 4lbs already. I was 212 at first weigh in and now I’m 208. Great channel and I will continue to follow because it certainly has helped.
You are amazing!!! I have never listened to anyone talk this long! We have similar personalities Im proud to say!!!! I am starting wegovy this week and you have mentioned so many things in your videos that mirror me, my thoughts, EVERYTHING!!!! I wish I could speak to you more!!!!
I just started on week 2 so tired this week and glad I found you videos. Thank you for for sharing information. I will be following. Just took measurements and weighed going to keep journaling thanks again ❤️
Hi. New subscriber here and going to be starting this tomorrow! Did you experience the fatigue and the symptoms that you did when starting out with the .25mg? Also about how much water do you drink in a day to combat everything?
I’m mad my doctor has also started me at .25. I’m 3 weeks in and 13lbs down no nausea no fatigue but on day 6 I feel my normal appetite. I wanted to start out at 1mg.
You are right about the fact we need to think about an exit plan. I always keep a pack of Tuna and crackers in my purse to eat in case I do get hungry. I am at the point that when I am hungry it's not for anything spso I try to go for high protein foods. You are doing great. I got my second box delivered to me today it is definitely a time saver.
I hope I don’t get fatigue. Saxenda was bad and that’s the only reason I stopped. I started wegovy yesterday. I did throw up after my workout 🥺, so I’m going to keep ginger gum on me at all times. 🤞🏽.. I started taking Ashwaganda and Adrenal support vitamins to help with energy levels, hopefully that works. Don’t feel any fatigue today.
Thank you so much for your videos. I've been struggling with my weight and my doctor recommended trying Wegovy. I watched all your videos and I feel very educated and ready to get started because of your videos. thank you again for your honest review. You look great!
Fantastic tips, thank you. I will be starting Oz soon. I'm curious, why did you choose Thursday night to take your dose, to combat fatigue, does your weekend start Friday, or is there a day's delay in the onset of fatigue?
I am so happy I found your page. No issues with depression, but I been lazy as hell. I literally sleep till 2 or 3 in the afternoon. And for the life of me, I cant get even one workout in. Guess I dont need it since I'm only eating once a day. Thanks for the heads up about the leg cramps. I thought it was something serious, but I do realize I need up my water intake.
Thank you so much for this info. I'm planning to start Wegovy next week. I made a list of things you mentioned, so I can use it in the most effective way. You are a beautiful lady; love your hair.
So glad I found you! My PCP is going to see if my insurance will cover Wegovy, if so I will be beginning it. Thank you so much for your transparency & sharing your experience! I appreciate having the information before I start. God bless
Thank you for sharing your experience. It has been rough finding information on this drug. Did you ever experience other side effects such as the stomach issues? I have found that right after taking an injection I cannot really eat anything for a few days. When I do, I get the stomach side effects which include the sulphur burps. It seems to happen even when I eat in very small amounts. I found that taking in liquids and broths is helpful. Again, in small amounts. I have also noticed towards the end of the week my appetite increases nearing my next dose. I just started the 1.0. Thank you again for posting this!
Hi Jennifer! I did indeed have those side effects. There were a few times I had to edit out the burps in my videos, ugh! The injection is at its strongest at the beginning and tapers off a little towards the end of the week. Taking in small meals is your best bet in the beginning because taking in too much can make you feel nauseous as well. I sipped on Ginger Ale which was a big help. I noticed that as the doses got higher I would have some loose stools at times too. (Sorry about the tmi, just want to be transparent🥴)
@@helenehuckaba59 ok so I’m Semaglutide it’s the same thing as wegovy but the company I got mine from don’t start u out on .25 because they said u really don’t see results so I started on .5 ...I did that for 4weeks and I’m down 14lbs I got the pics to show my scale . So now this week I’m going to be on 1 I’m so nervous because I already don’t eat that much and I have to force myself as it is due to the medication. They basically said they don’t start ppl on the .25 because the medication is so expensive that it would be a waste of money due to ppl not seeing results, but honestly I sell my own weight loss products like detox but I’ve never in my life seen nothing to work this fast and be this effective besides phentermine and i hate those side effects I’d never be able to do those... so I’ll keep everybody updated on how I do this this new dose I’m so nervous lol
Hi, I just came across your channel, and you are giving very good information. I am asking my doctor about getting on this medication. I've had gastric bypass and since I have been in menopause, I have gained 30 lbs and I still do not hardly eat, but I am now craving a lot of sweets which also makes me sick, because I will have a sugar dump if I eat too many sweets. Thank you so much for sharing your journey and the truth. Many blessings to you.
I am in same situation, had gastric bypass 16yrs ago, now with menopause I’ve also gained 30lbs! I started wegovy 1.5 weeks ago and am down 6lbs! So happy to be losing this extra weight!
Hey Sis Thanks for this. I was struggling with low energy and fatigue badly. Just took my fifth dose .25. For me it was a combination of low hemoglobin and not eating enough. Iron and B12 supplements help tremendously! Also strangely after exercise my energy level has increased. Thanks 🙏
Sorry to ask. How did you get the 0.25 dose? Their website says they are not accepting any new users and that 0.25 will be stopped until the second half of 2022 sometime (hopefully). I would love to be able to try it after researching it, which is why I was asking haha.
@@nicoledenney6083 I wasn’t aware of that. My doc prescribed it in early March. I’m thinking maybe I got mine just before they decided this. My .50 is back ordered and they don’t know when it will be available. 🙁. They can’t keep up with the demand. I don’t think that they were expecting this medication to be as popular as it is
Thank you for the great information. It took me a few years to get this fat. The possibility of losing this extra weight inside of a year or so would be a Godsend.
Good tips. I will start it in next 2 wks and will make sure to use it near weekends in case I am fatigued. Does the fatigue lift 2-3 days after each injection? Or is it continuous all week?
I would love to hear what a doctor or nutritionist says about the ‘exit strategy’! We all know nothing is easy to do cold turkey….so how do we best ease ourselves back to normal? Is it best to start lowering back down from 2.4 to .25 again? Or do we just stop the injections and ease back up on the diet? All Great questions for the Wegovy Alumni!! Lol
For some there is no "exit strategy" I know my Dr and I have discussed that we can tapper down once I reach a target weight but I may be on this for the rest of my life
Once you go on Medicare it becomes really unaffordable. They don’t pay for weight loss medication and even if I were taking it for diabetes, the copays would be at least $400/month. I lost 62 pounds in the year I was on it, so now I’m on my own, counting carbs and calories again and praying it will be enough. I still would like to lose another 50 pounds , but will be grateful now if I can keep from regaining what I lost.
I’m almost done with the 1.7 and the depression, lack of motivation and fatigue is real! Trying to take more vitamin supplements and stay hydrated. Aloe Vera juice has been helping along with coconut water.
You’re amazing !! Keep going. I’m about to start my 2.4 😣 Quick question 🙋♀️ I remember you mentioning wegovy possibly offers coupons for people who have to pay out of pocket??
You are beautiful ! Thank you for this video! I am starting it tonight. I was on ozempic and even after a couple years, I still could not handle the full dose. I’m hoping this will be better.
First Ms. Ceda, you look beautiful thank you for this channel 🧡 Keep going and stay encouraged along your journey to become and maintain your best self.
Was this dropping your blood sugar low ? If so that causes massive fatigue and even heart palpitations, hot/cold flashes and feeling of lightheadedness.
Electrolytes, IV infusion drink packets will kick that sleepy tired feeling out the water while changing your diet or help you with brain fog. It naturally helps with energy because I've never been able to do red bull or energy drinks.
On week 4 of Wegovy and all is working well. I’m so worried my insurance will not cover, but was given samples until they come thru. You look fabulous. Thanks for the tips.😊
Thank you for the video. Just took my first dosage today. I will try the arm next week. I walk 2-3 miles 4-6 days per week. I already take b12 due to menopause. Good looking out on the water.
The fatigue part just hit for my second week. My first week I had so much energy, but I was drinking more water and working out. I think that’s key to avoid alot of those symptoms.
I'm 188 and i just got approved for Wegovy, i want to lose 38 lbs...starting with 0.25 i really hope to at least be down 15 lbs by December ❤ thank you for your video
Thank you for this video. My dr has prescribed this for me, but I haven’t started it yet. Still waiting on the prior authorization. I’m excited to start. I need to lose 100 pounds. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis of the spine. Losing weight may help with my pain.

@@patprescod5693 my doc did it for me. I have really good insurance as I work in the pharmaceutical industry for an extremely large, well-off company. Maybe that has something to do with it. I wish you luck!
@patprescod5693 I have Anthem of California. I live in Denver but company headquarters are in California. Did you doctor try to do a pre-authorization?
@@danjbro yes my doctor did send in the Pre Authorization but it didn’t help. Right now I am thinking about changing my medical insurance. I just don’t understand how these insurance companies don’t think that obesity is a disease and that’s why they don’t cover it
I love these points your making especially for someone pretty new to Ozempic. I am tired too and was wondering why, but now I know. I am very slow too b/c of thyroid and diabetes. Btw, how long did you keep at any dose? I'm at .50 now. Thnx for sharing
@@LooksByCeda thanks! I'm so upset b/c just heard my next dose will cost me $652.33 for 3 months. Medicare doesn't take any coupons ;-( I have to find another way. I started 1mg 2 weeks ago. I wished was losing more. Best to you!
Oh no! I completely understand the frustration. I’m still with the same insurance company just under a different plan and they no longer cover it either😩
First you are beautiful! I started wegovi this past Saturday so I'm on day 4. I have noticed when I burp tastes like I ate a a hard-boiled egg. Especially when I'm on an empty stomach. I do feel full after eating a small amount. I'm looking forward to see how much weight will come off in the next month.
I have lost 80lbs in 1.5 years with intermittent fasting and while on Wegovy. I haven't experienced any side effects. Keep going and make sure you are eating appropriately.
How are you eating?
I have lost 45 pounds in 6 months and I haven’t really changed my diet lol. Its hard to overeat while taking we govy
Hi J Lynette, are you exercising? I'm just wondering why I"m so slow. I'm at 176. Congrats
@@mayrablanco2013I walked...that's it.
How did you get it from your doctor or online?
I am in a case study for Semaglutide. I am not diabetic but I need to lose sixty pounds. I had my first injection this Monday, April 24th. I am already feeling like I am not craving sweets and I am feeling less hungry three days in. This week's first injection is 0.5. My Mom took Wegovy and lost sixty pounds and she exercised too. I will keep you ladies updated each month.
I have found that it works to suppress your appetite but keep in mind you still need protein and multivitamins bc you may not be getting enough from food,
Please do! I would also be interested in how your mother is doing as I am an older woman about to begin Wegovy postmenopausal.
I started last Monday. I am not craving sweets (except for the day I ate Pop tarts),but I am still hungry everyday.
my daughter lost over 50 lbs in 4 months, she looks absolutely gorgeous.
Awesome! I’m so glad Wegovy is working for her!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
How did she get it? Her doctor?
They start the dosage so low so not sure how she did that
Congratulations, what type of eating plan did your daughter do
I love when our peers are unscripted and do reviews, it is 100% more relatable and reassuring. This is far more helpful than the other videos I have seen.
Thank you so much! I appreciate you watching.
For fighting fatigue, every morning take a slice of lemon, a tsp of turmeric, warm water, and blend ALL of it together and drink it. The peel is packed full of vitamin J and this concoction helps with hydration, having natural vitamin b, and natural electrolytes.
Turmeric also helps with inflammation
Do you actually eat the lemon peel or just the juice? I’ve never eaten a lemon peel
Celtic salt is a must
I just started the Wegovy this morning and I’m so excited. I recently started working out again. I was 333 pounds a few weeks ago and this morning I was 316.5. So I’m just hoping Wegovy gives me that extra edge to get the weight off and keep it off. But I will try to keep you updated on my progress.
That’s great! I’m so happy it’s working for you. It can really be motivating to continue developing healthy habits.
@sohltaker any updates?? 👀
@@vegan_pisces yup!!!! I weighed 305.5 last night. I am so excited and so close to 300 pounds. Which is my first goal! As soon as I hit 300, I will post on here with big bold letters!!!
@ThecoolBlacknerd does your insurance covered the cost?
That’s good for the weight loss…that’s the magic ingredient to weight loss anyway..proper eating and exercise

Im glad you were able to find some success with it along with some healthy habits. I’m hoping they will eventually be able to tweek the formula to ease the nausea.
Very Good keep up the good work 👏
Thank you, thank you & thank you!
B12 very important!!!
Same! I have been fighting to stay awake at work, but fatigue really isn't mentioned as a possible side effect. Good to know how to get on top of it.
Me to ima bout to go get the B12 shots….lol😊
I just started on day 6 and oh yes your hunger comes back right before your weekly shot is due. Have a plan! Do not have any tempting foods in the house. Wow, I was not expecting this night and day difference. But on the plus side your constipation goes away. I would suggest Chia seeds, caffeine in moderation anything to fill you up and distract you mentally! Thank you for your videos, thanks for being real!
I am about to start this weekend. Glad i found her page. Thank you
New Wegovy user and in week 2 and everything you mentioned resonates with me.
Thank you! 100 oz. is amazing. It sounds like you are off to a great start! Yes!, we got this!
Do research. I just started and I feel horrible.. very nausea .. to the point I don't think I can continue. Literally feel like I am on my first trimester

I'm considering Wegovy, this was very insightful -thanks for this! Hope your journey continued going well!! 1-2 lbs a wk is a very healthy weight loss. No shame in that game!! You don't want to lose too much, too quickly. Great job!!
Starting Wegovy today and grateful for your video!!
Awesome! Good luck to you on your journey😀
I just started 2.4 on Saturday and was so tired yesterday and the day before. I was about to call my doc about stopping this med. Today I woke up perky and feeling great. It's crazy! I have been dealing with the fatigue and just feeling lazy and tired for months and this video gives me hope!
Hi Karen! Hang in there. It gets better. The supplements along with water and electrolytes have been a huge help for me!
is the fatigue normal though? does it pass?
Thank you for this post Ceda, I really needed it. Even as a reminder. My family is ready to take me to the hospital because I've been sleeping like 19 hours and it's crazy! Also the leg cramps...I forgot that dehydration is very real. And the constipation, I know I'm not getting enough water in so that's just making it worse. These were ALL great reminders and I truly thank you for all the suggestions. Love your videos and insight.
Hi Melinda! Thank you so much. I think each week we all learn a new step on this journey. You got this
Pickle juice really helps with leg cramps
Magnesium is really important. I take 800 mg a night.
Girl take magnesium citrate, Calm is my favorite brand. It helps with constipation and the cramping.
Electrolytes you can make your own pink salt(sodium), magnesium and potassium. Really helps with leg cramps and energy
I wish I could actually make videos about what's happening in my life with Wegovy, but I'm to shy
You're amazing and beautiful
Thank you for all you do.
Thank you
@angiereategui how is it going with the Wegovy?
Any updates on your weight loss with Wegovy?
I’m filming an update today so hopefully I can get it up pretty quickly!
I would kill to be in my hundreds. 😭😭😭😭
Hi Jean! Thank you 😊. I’m so happy you’re consulting with your doctor on best options. This is great info. Thank you for sharing!
I am on 1.7 and I asked to back to 1. I stay nauseous on this dose. And also I don’t want to eat all so I can’t do that as a diabetic.
Just started a week ago. One shot down and i did feel sick the first day i got the shot, but for the most part i only feel sick when i need to eat something or if i eat too much. Fine line and i am still figuring that out. I lost 3lbs so far and i am so glad i can cone to this channel and hear about others journey
Ditto here.
Thanks for sharing your journey my appt is wednesday nervous ill get every side affect but will stay postive
@@teedennison3850 I hope things are going well. Just try not to over eat or eat too much sweets or fried foods and you'll be fine. Pay CLOSE attention to your body.
Thanks so much for sharing, I’ve heard so many different things about what to do and vice versa. I haven’t gotten it yet, and can’t wait!
Hey boo, this is week 2 for me and this weight is slowly coming down. Thanks for the tips, they definitely help. Let's get this weight off💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿
how has it been going for you? I start soon!! :) i cant wait
Aye!!!
Oh wow! I’m so sorry you had such a terrible experience. I hope you’re feeling better.
Ask your Doctor for Zofran
Did you stop taking the wegovy medicine?

So right about the fatigue! I'm not sure if losing a day (sometimes 2) in bed every week can be worth it. Doesn't seem to matter much what I do, I'm still tired out. Electrolyte balance definitely needs care, I found out to my cost at the beginning of the journey! Thanks for the good tips.
I love your posts and so grateful for hearing about your journey. On my 4th dose of .5 and find I have to eat smaller portions. Weight is coming off slooowwly but your posts have helped me not get discouraged. The fatigue is no joke!
Hi Debbie! I’m so glad the updates are helpful. Hang in there! Those pounds will slowly start to add up!
I was on it a year and lost some weight slowly but not enough for me to continue. My doctor didn't really have an explanation of why...
Hello
Glad I found this post
I'm on my 8th week and have only lost r lbs😢.
I’m experiencing fatigue as well. I’m glad I’m not the only one ❤. Thanks for the information.

I think for many of us, this will be for life.
I am insulin resistant and plan to transition to metformin afterwards for a while on maintenance if a keto diet. Metformin is supposed to be similar in helping insulin but much more mild.
I just started Wegovy today. Thank you so much for making your video. It was very helpful.
That’s awesome! Since I’m back on it I’ve had to rewatch some of my videos to help me. Thank goodness for a video diary!

Just took my very first injection today. Thank you so much for this I appreciate you a lot

I am at the point that when I am hungry it's not for anything spso I try to go for high protein foods. You are doing great. I got my second box delivered to me today it is definitely a time saver.
Thanks Alishea! Great idea about the tuna and crackers☺️
I hope I don’t get fatigue. Saxenda was bad and that’s the only reason I stopped. I started wegovy yesterday. Don’t feel any fatigue today.
What happened when you were on Saxenda? My doc suggested that and wegovy 👀

Leg cramps are from electrolyte imbalance. Try sugar free Powerade.
Not just water, but electrolytes (magnesium, potassium and sodium)

Hi Amy! You’re very welcome. Good luck to you!
Im on my first week and not really had side effects the odd sick feeling now and then Thank you for your great Advice ❤❤❤❤
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching😊
I drop about 6lbs a week , I noticed when I don’t eat I don’t lose the weight every week. When I do force myself it drops quick
Isn’t that crazy how that works? Our bodies know better than we do🥰
Holy cow!! I just started week #2 of 0.25! Only down 1 lb or so. Please tell me the losses start soon!?!?
@LOSE IT FAST LLC can u give us an update? How.did it work out for you?
Hey Sis
Thanks for this. I was struggling with low energy and fatigue badly. Just took my fifth dose .25. For me it was a combination of low hemoglobin and not eating enough. Iron and B12 supplements help tremendously! Also strangely after exercise my energy level has increased. Thanks 🙏
Hey Sis … my first follow up Dr visit is Tuesday … can you stay on .25? For the second round
@@Indyanna6245 yes. My doc recommended I move slowly due to my health history. I would have preferred to move up to the .50.
That’s great! Learning what our bodies need is one way to help fight this crazy fatigue.
Ikr! I can totally relate. You got this!
You are so cute! Love your personality! Thank you so much for these videos. I just started Wegovy and I’m so thankful for your insight and advice! 🥰
Thank you! You’re welcome
Good tips. I will start it in next 2 wks and will make sure to use it near weekends in case I am fatigued. Does the fatigue lift 2-3 days after each injection? Or is it continuous all week?
Thanks for making this! I've been covering the studies on my channel, but I wanted to hear more 1st hand experiences like yours 💯
I appreciate the view. Thanks!
Awww you’re so pretty. I just love your channel. It’s one of the best out here!
Thanks so much Amber!
Lol
You stop the injections and welcome back the fat.
Keep going. I’m about to start my 2.4 😣
Quick question 🙋♀️ I remember you mentioning wegovy possibly offers coupons for people who have to pay out of pocket??
I called them today and the discount for the $25 a month isn’t available anymore. But I am interested in if there are any out there too
You are beautiful !
Thank you so much!
You are sso awesome and down to earth. Thank you for the advise and video. Yes, eating makes you lose weight, but just really small amounts.
Was this dropping your blood sugar low ? If so that causes massive fatigue and even heart palpitations, hot/cold flashes and feeling of lightheadedness.
I felt like it when I went too long without eating. I know it’s listed as one of the possible side effects.
I just started..I'm encouraged from your post.. 😂 .plus you're funny.. I enjoyed your segment...GO BE EXCEPTIONAL!! ❤️
My insurance won’t cover it. How did you do it?
How much weight did you lose
If your bmi is higher apnd A1c your doctor can try to push the insurance @patprescod5693
Thank you for the video. Just took my first dosage today. I will try the arm next week. I walk 2-3 miles 4-6 days per week. I already take b12 due to menopause. Good looking out on the water.
Thanks for this review/experience! May I ask, why do you think it worked best at the arm than the belly?
You’re welcome! It was better for me in my stomach. When I first started the nurse told me to find a fatty spot and inject it there. Hope this helps.
The fatigue part just hit for my second week. My first week I had so much energy, but I was drinking more water and working out. I think that’s key to avoid alot of those symptoms.
Thank you for this video! I was going to pick mine up Monday. I cant handle fatigue
I don’t know if you said it, or I missed it, but monitor your vitamin D levels. Sunlight and other fat soluble vitamins are SOOO important!!
I completely agree!
The war foods are leafy 🥬 greens. I’m salads
Or blend as a green juice. And proteins.
I'm 188 and i just got approved for Wegovy, i want to lose 38 lbs...starting with 0.25 i really hope to at least be down 15 lbs by December ❤ thank you for your video
First of all you are stunning! And secondly, thank you for posting this, very helpful info
Thank you so much! I’m so happy it helped😊
Just picked up my very first box from the pharmacy and glad I came across your channel. You really did your research and I appreciate your knowledge! I am going to subscribe and hope you have additional videos! Thank you! 🙏🏽
I can’t seem to get my insurance to cover it. How did you do it?
@@patprescod5693 my doc did it for me. I have really good insurance as I work in the pharmaceutical industry for an extremely large, well-off company. Maybe that has something to do with it. I wish you luck!
My doctor prescribed it but my private insurance won’t pick it up. If you don’t mind telling me what insurance do you have? I have emblem
Hi Mayra! Thank you for watching. I stayed on each dose for 1 month before moving to the next. Good luck on your journey!
