No. Although years ago I went to a church that did them for the local schools and the Knights of Columbus do those in my local community now. Are you talking about for public school or something else? I’m intrigued.
I’m thrilled to be used by God in this way! It’s like I’m the mom buying gifts for my own children whose Salvation is right around the corner. Each box represents a child I may meet one day in heaven. I’m definitely driven and excited to be able to do this for the Lord! Thank you for being a part of this amazing OCC community! 🤗
At walmart, I got very nice quality, large, stainless steel, BPA free, water bottles for only ONE dollar for my boxes!! My sister used them , and they are really good! I reccomend buying them, if you can find them :)
Piggy Gaga where were they? That’s an amazing deal! I looked today at my Walmart and mostly I saw them for just under $10. A few small plastic ones were $5. That was in housewares.
Absolutely love watching your videos. Me and my kiddos started collecting for a few boxes about a week ago and they are so excited. I’m hoping to get 30 out this year. Thanks for all the great ideas. ❤️

Here in NZ best places to find them at a OK price is either $2 shops or kmart haven't come across the sequin ones in any shops but found a fun soft spiky one that I got for my neon box I'm doing

I’ll be donating online as well so I can know where my boxes have reached! Yesterday at dollar general I got a nice quality backpack for $5, I’m hoping to add some sort of backpack or tote bag to every box I pack this year to help them carry things to school and back 😊
Dogs And Shoeboxes that’s amazing! This is the first year I’m trying to do backpacks or bags in my boxes too, thanks to Michelle! I love knowing where my boxes go too, so I pay for shipping online too. OCC just posted information about this year’s collection. Of course it’s going forward with only slight changes in drop off collection places and the distribution center possibly. But children need shoeboxes more than ever in the face of the pandemic! Thank you for packing so many boxes. God will supply all our needs. 🤗 Keep me posted on my our progress. I love hearing how everyone is doing. ❤️

So many cute things, Christy! I love to make fillers, as well. Have made many "pencil packs" (see the Pencil Granny Facebook page for ideas). I do other "prize pack" type baggies, as well. I'm trying now to go to your website, but for some reason I'm not able to reach it. It's telling me the site can't be reached? May be user (me) error. Also, if you don't follow Samaritan's Purse on social media, you might want to- they post lots of videos of children opening boxes. It's a joy to watch. Take care- I'll be back! -Morgan in TN

I've always heard that the 10-14's get the least number of boxes, but also the 2-4 only includes 3 years and the other ages include 5 years so they probably don't need as many 2-4's. Not trying to be critical, what you're doing is wonderful, those are just my thoughts.
The older ones are a priority to us too. I’m just about to shift gears to do 10-14 boxes. I’m so glad the older group doesn’t get the least amount anymore. The last two years the toddlers got the least, but that’s probably how it should be because, like you said, there are fewer of them. But I’ve still enjoyed making boxes for them. I’ll make more of the older group soon. 🤩
