Our Rating System:
We are both firm believers that it is unjust to review and rate an album after only hearing it one time therefore our method for reviews is much different than everyone else on TH-cam.
First off, not only do you get two individual opinions for each and every album but we actually take the time to listen to each album many times over the course of a week in order to gather elaborate opinions on it. We typically post our First Impressions of the album after listening to it for the very first time and then a week later we post our final review with a score.
Our scoring method is unique to this channel as well. We each rate the album out of 10 but anything above a 7/10 simply just gets our Toe Tag. In order for an album to make it onto the list above it must receive Two Toe Tags. It if only gets one or none then it does not make our coveted list.
Any album that receives Two Toe Tags is considered a top quality album of elite status and highly recommended by both of us. We hope to add an array of metal genres and sub-genres to our list so be sure to Subscribe and turn on Notifications so you will always be in the loop with all the awesome metal we review!

Lost count of the number of times I've seen this video, heard that song on spotify or seen its reaction vides. Shadow Of Intent is slowly becoming one of the best metal bands out there. In my view they are already in the upper echelon. This song is a metal masterpiece. Makes you want to roar, fight, die and cry all at once.
I had the same reaction Vile did. This song was absolute perfection. I just sat there with my jaw open for about 5 minutes

Was Vile crying? I think this song actually left my man in tears. I was really getting an Abigail Williams vibe from these guys thanks to the samples, but this blew Abigail Williams away. Great solo. Great drums. I love the little parts of clean vocals. Great song. If they can get some production for their videos, they can really get people's attention.

I'm so stoked for this album, their last album Reclaimer is one of my all time favorites I can't wait to see if this one can take its place!!!
I pretty much had the same initial reaction. Started listening to these guys at the beginning of the year, and this song absolutely blew me away. Hands down their best one to date. And this is the final track on the album, so I can only anticipate for the album to be brutal as hell to end in this epic masterpiece.
And their guitarist, Chris Wiseman is a genius. His work in Currents is also some of the best in modern metalcore.
3:35 is the same face I made. It's just too good!
About 4:41 is when the badassery overload sets in. There's just too much to love about the song at that point that it's almost orgasmic.

I've listened to them for a year or so and knew they were gonna be in the top metal bands ever. I had to preorder the album and shirt to promote the metal that should be known. Everyone needs a lil metal in their life and this is one band I've played unwelcomed for my pleasure lol
