Wonderful musics, wonderful life feeling . Thank you so much Frans Bruggen

That Rameau was something else - a great composer. His music still excites the senses and this orchestra makes his music sound fresh.
Bruggen always said that rhythm was very important and I agree totally.
It hurts to see Bruggen so reduced. No less a musician of the highest order of course, but so consumed by life.
By life and most of all by smoking.... 😪
One day I visited him in his house in Amsterdam. He was rehearsing with Gustav Leonhard and Anner Bylsma. So I waited them to finish. What extraordinary moments.
